Stopped in for lunch and were seated right away. Ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, and naan. Interestingly, the chicken tikka masala and korma both had the same color and tasted only slightly different and somewhat bland. The rice and naan didnt taste fresh. There were also little flies buzzing around.

No doubt the food was good but way too expensive as compared to other restaurants I would never go again because of the price

A very good restaurant at a very convenient location. The food tasted like Indian home-made food and was delicious. It was very crowded on the night we went there, but even then the staff managed to serve everyone with patience. The kind-hearted owner also gave us complementary dessert, which we loved. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Authentic, tasty food and good service. Friendly and professional staff. We were greeted and seated right away, and a highchair was brought out immediately for my daughter. Didnt have to wait around for long for our food or drinks, even though the place was packed. And although it was crowded, we were well taken care of and didnt have to wait or wave around to get the attention of the staff if we needed something 👍

One of the best Indian Restaurant, the taste is so authentic and you get all the varieties both veg and non-veg. The staff are very polite and the best part is the owner of the restaurant meet and greet all the guests. It’s really a good fell factor when someone talks to you in your local language

Very...racist restaurant. All of our friends who went there faced this issue, the waitress jasprit is very bad. Especially they dont give tips to the waiters. They dont treat you good. Food is also not soo good , we ordered biryani which tastes like tomato rice. Dont recommend it. Please avoid this place

Nice Indian food. The chili garlic naan was great. The fried chicken filets starter was okay but not must have. Main dish we had mango curry chicken and it was a bit too sweet for me. It would be better, if with much stronger curry flavor. The mango lassi was nice but could had more mango flavor and more ice-cold.

It is one of the best restaurants in Leipzig catering to the Indian Subcontinent diaspora. The restaurant maintains its food quality and their bar service is equally good. Worth a visit if you are in the city.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and outdoor seating. I had excellent service and was very happy with my food. The lamb vindaloo is not nearly as spicy as advertised, but has great flavor. Dont be afraid to try it if you are hesitant to eat spicy food. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Leipzig.

Very ideally located in the historic city. Many famous hotel brands are nearby and many attractions too. Good food. Staff is good and Service with smile. Ample sitting place both indoor and outdoor. Recommended.

This restaurant can’t cope when it’s busy. We waited almost 1 hour and 30 minutes for our main course which was very mediocre. No spice at all. The staff were nice but they were not wearing face masks which was off putting. Won’t be returning.

Really polite service, not German service, these people will actually ask you how your meal is and if you need anything else!!! The food is OH SO GOOD!! It is a good portion for the price as well. Sitting on the patio is nice, you can sit Street side or around the back where its more of a courtyard.

Lovely food, I live in Spain and I have to say I dont like Indian food here, I was missing a nice curry and that is exactly what I got.I do not put 5 stars as I would have prefer the staff of the restaurant to be wearing a mask.Decoration of the place is very nice and everything looks very clean.They did serve us even when we got there a little late.Totally recomended.

Too sweet curry even when we told to make it spicy because we were indian. Then after most of the staff were like we cant do anything about it and you have to order new dish. They did not even inform their boss. There were so many other restaurant near by you can try there.

Was better than the other Indian restaurants in city centre

The place did not much the expectations, and quality/price was not met. We had vegetarian BBQ which arrived already burned in the bottom and cold on the top, and vegetable biryani which was not made on the open fire, but rather was just boiled rice mixed with frozen supermarket veggies with spices.I asked for the tap water and received:”it is not possible” even though we also ordered other drinks.And for this we are paying almost 50 eur!!! Huge disappointment.PS. It is 2020, please stop using plastic straws!!!

Located in central Leipzig, the Indian Crown offers good vegan options (specifically mentioned on the menu). Its a standard restaurant, if you are looking for creative Indian dishes with more than plain white rice or a cozy atmosphere its the wrong place, its the same Indian restaurant youve been to hundreds of times in Germany. The food was good and spicy, we didnt need to work wait long and you can pay by card.

The food was not the best food I have had in Leipzig or even in Germany !! The restaurant is overly priced for the quality of food. We ordered several different dishes as we craved Indian food. Of course we couldnt finish it and ordered a take away of the remaining!! To our horror they packed 7 different dishes in one take away box . When we opened it at home the orders were not only a mess but most of the food which didnt fit was thrown away!! I had high hopes from a restaurant with such nice reviews but its really disappointing !! Would never go there again!!

Not bad, but not my favourite Indian restaurant in Leipzig. Like most Indian restaurants in Germany, you can expect just dishes from NW India/Punjab region, I suspect because most Indian restaurants here tend to be owned by Pakistanis. Doesnt mean its bad food, just nothing special.

Walking down the street we were taken in by the restaurants classy atmosphere and interior. We went there for lunch and and ordered several curries. All of them were delicious, not too spicey and definitely filling. The prices (8,50-10,00€) during lunch are fair enough. Young, friendly, English speaking staff.Have to come back to see whether youre still getting some good value for your bucks at dinner time.

The service was friendly and professional. The location and venue is very modern in style. The food was okay - no real complaints, but Ive distinctly had better Indian meals and the menu is just the regular selection with nothing special standing out. Naan was a bit on the dry side.I cannot comment on how this rates relative to the other options in Leipzig, since Im comparing it to Berlin, London, Prague, or Hamburg.

Indian crown restaurant is amazing place in city center Leipzig.Food : I tried Shahi Paneer and Aloo Gobi with Garlic Nan. It was so delicious.Price : Food is little bit expensive compared to other indian restaurants in Germany. You can expect one dish to be around 13 to 15 euros which is normally 11 to 13 in other restaurants.Staff : They are friendly and welcoming and happy to help.Overall : This place is good for having dinner with friends and family.

The most wholesome experience while eating bhindi masala. We were 2 people, and we ordered vegetarian pakora platter consisting of paneer, onion and aloo pakora. Would have tasted better with spicy coriander chutney, but it was still good.The lassi was also of good consistency. Not too thick, but just enough.And then we ordered paneer tikka masala and bhindi masala with nan and roti. Bhindi masala was amazing, it reminded me of home food. Paneer tikka masala was good, but nothing special for me.But that was good quantity for 2 people. Pretty filling food.

Best Indian food ever in Germany.

Had high expectations for this place since the reviews were so good but found the Vegetarian/vegan options bland and tasteless. Would like to give the benefit of the doubt and say that the meat dishes might be better, but overall wouldnt recommend.

I viseted this restaurant for the first time and the food was amazing. I atethe chicken Tikka from the grill and the meat was perfect. My dessert was gulabjamun and the tastet like I was in India. The design is so different its modern but reminds me of India of the same time. The staff made me feel like I was at home so open and kind. I can only recomand this restaurant from my heart.

Best tasting Indian food I ever had in leipzig till now. My personal favourite is Palak Paneer and Malai kofta with garlic naan and Amritsari Kulcha. Please do not try bhindi masala, I didnt find it that great being an Indian. Overall a cozy and elegant place to enjoy your meal with friendly staff and great food. Recommended!!!!!
