Ordered takeaway here for the first time tonight and it was delicious! We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Korma, Shahi Paneer and Garlic Naan. The tikka chicken had a wonderful smokey tandoor flavour. We ordered medium heat/spice and it was perfect - the tikka was thebspiciest but has a good warming sensation. It was very good and the serves were generous. Containers were packed full of meat/cheese. Will definitely order again.

The staff is polite and the environment is very lively and clean. Food is decently good, not overpowering and decently flavourful. BUT management needs some improvement seriously... Eg: bad ventilation, bad queuing system, bad overall wait time (1.5hrs?!), etc. Despite of the stress staffs have to deal from the bad management, the staffs are very positive and polite, make extra efforts to walk around and apologise for the wait.

Amazing food, the service is second to non from either eating in or take away delivery. The staff are polite and courteous always eager to help and recommend delicious dishes.

I travelled all the way with my parents to this great resturant. I have visited all the restaurant. This is the best food best service. The prices were reasonable.The food was cooked with love. I would recommend everyone to make a effort to try once to eat a good indian food. The best.

Flavoursome Indian food at affordable prices, coupled with friendly, helpful service. The menu is pretty long, but waitstaff welcomed questions. Visited with a large extended family group & we ordered many different entrees & mains to share. Everything was full of aromatic spices, yum & never oily. My favourite was the eggplant (masala?). The decor is basic (eg butcher paper tablecloths), but there was a good buzz & it never felt like anything was lacking (though it can get a little smokey when people like us order several sizzling plates!). An enjoyable dinner.

Food and service is excellent. Took some friends over last weekend ordered the mix meat platter...the price has been increased from 30 to 40 dollars which is more than 30 percent, could have added a plate of salat and 4 onion bhagi(instated of 2) could have been a better way of justifying the increase in price.

Best Indian restaurant south of the river - which means its one of the best in Perth! Great service, fresh ingredients, and excellent food.

Amazing food and good large portions

Leeming Lions Club enjoyed a great night at Citrus Indian Restaurant Leeming for their annual Changeover Dinner.Ambience was lovely, nice room, background music -- AND the food was absolutely delicious --varied menu with plenty of choices at reasonable prices.and lots of it. The staff were exceptionally attentive to our needs. Highly recommended. Id go back again.

The place is cozy & nice for any gatherings. The staff is friendly & fast. The food tastes delicious & fresh. My favorite dish is Mixed Meat Set Plate because you get the taste of all best pieces.

I was there with my son and husband for my birthday lunch. Ordered Royal Goat curry, Palak Chicken, saffron rice , garlic and cheese naan and carrot halve dessert. Every food was Delicious. Wished we couldve ordered more dishes but what we had were very filling! The lady that attended to us was really nice, helpful and very friendly. Been to a party, staff were friendly and the food was amazing

Purchased takeaway from this place. The rice smelt like chlorine and the kadai panner was not cooked fully and the curry itself was chunky and unpleasant. The vegetables were not chopped properly and had the roots of the vegetable in curry. I called the restaurant to speak to the owner however he spoke quite rudely and said awful and terrible things about me. Would not recommend this place. I have also made a formal compliant as well.

Beaut authentic Indian with a good range of traditional dishes. Weve been at least 60 times. Chef Azar is affable and highly competent. We worked our way through the menu over a couple of years, all good. BYO too. Good value for money. Sonia our host is a lovely young woman too.

Now this is what I call real, quality Indian food. I spent my entire childhood in India and am repeatedly disappointed by mediocre if not outright poor representations of the delicacies emanating from the rich Indian culinary traditions. Not this time though. I dont live nearby but Ill happily drive the distance to eat at The Citrus again and again. Thank you also to the wait staff, who are attentive and very authentically friendly.

I would rate it 4.5 if i could! The food is fantastic and full of flavour. Serve sizes are generous and the mixed nan basket is huge. Decor could use a bit of work.The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food service was very fast and fresh. We will definitely be back.

In simple words its beautiful the way food is prepared and presented. Mr. Azar does a marvelous job of cooking while selecting very good combination of ingredients. He cooks as a passion and not as a business owner. Me and wife have been to many so called good restaurants here in Perth and found them short compared to the once in India, but Citrus stands apart and is among the top Indian restaurants here. The staff at the reception is quite nice and very polite. The food is simply amazing, we hope such a good place last for a long time and the flavours of Indian style cooking and food enjoyed and celebrated by many. I highly recommend Citrus.

I visited this place with my friends first time But got disapointed by taste of food wich was disgusting.

My sister recommended it and she was right I loved the butter chicken, chicken Korma and nan bread. Service was spot on I will return to dine in soon.

Another wonderful meal at Citrus Indian Restaurant. So many choices and all dishes so tasty. Great chef, great service, great value. A real gem of a restaurant in Leeming. Never disappointed.

We are regular customers here and generally have takeaway. Their food is amazing and by far one of the best indian restaurants south of the river. The biriyani always has plenty of quality chicken and the chef is great in accomodating different spice levels. I highly recommend eating here!- Gary

Very good Indian food and kind staff.

I finally made it to Citrus for dinner and I was not disappointed. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made me feel at home. The food was exceptional, with an amazing menu to choose from. Everything ordered was fresh, tasty, and authentic. I had a great dining experience and would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Sad to say this isn’t a positive review. We ordered a meal from here about 3 months ago which was very nice. This evening was very different. We asked if the Chicken Tikka Massala could be Tandoori chicken and was told that all of their chicken was tandoori. When our food arrived, it wasn’t what we expected. Some of the chicken had been skewered (small skewer holes in a few pieces) but it had not been marinated in a tandoori oven. It was plain white chicken that had no flavour on its own. The sauce was extremely hot, so we scooped the chicken out without the sauce. One rice was supposed to be coconut and tasted no different to the cumin rice. However we find did find a few coconut sprinkles at the bottom of the container. The fruit naan, was squashed flat, chewy, dough. We were really looking forward to the meal but it was a real disappointment and based on this, we wouldn’t recommend this restnt. Such a pity.

Overall very good....service, food, attitude. Its clean, reasonable, very accommodating. The lady there, Sonia, is very polite, well mannered, efficient. An example of how nice they are, recently we went for dinner. When paying the bill, she asked me if everything was ok, the food/drinks. I mentioned it was my husbands birthday so were there celebrating. A few minutes later she came with a bowl with 4 gulab jamuns with a candle on top & wished my husband. We thought it was a very nice gesture. Will definitely go there again and highly recommend it.

My husband and I enjoyed the best authentic Indian meal. It was freshly prepared with no artificial colours or preservatives. The goat curry was absolutely delicious . The service was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.

Tried a wide selection from the menu, Lamb Seekh Kebabs, Hara bhara Kebabs & Chicken Afghani for starters. Goat Curry, Saag Lamb (Spinach), Chicken Chettinad, Lamb Biryani, Bhindi Masala (Okra), assorted nans (Indian Bread) & plain rice. Excellent fresh cooked indian food & very polite staff who provided us with excellent service. Citrus has become a family favourite & we have introduced several of our friends to it.

My wife and I had a meal at the Citrus Restaurant for the first time tonight. I had a Masala Dosa and my wife had the Prawn Vindaloo we also had the Samosas for entree. All the food was very tasty and fresh. We eat a lot of Indian food and I would say it was some of the best I have had. The waitresss were very attentive even though it was busy and the food came out in a timely manner. It looks very clean and well run. We will go back and would recommend Citrus to anyone that loves good Indian food.

Went there the other night and food wasnt good at all one of the currys was all waterey. And Restaurant needs a bit of lighting up a bit go to Jai ho Indian and have a look how there restraunt looks inside.

Was pining for briyani so tried this quaint little spot and was impressed with quality of dishes we had: Hyderabad chicken briyani and Afghani chicken .. Great smells and flavours are a good mix of robustness and lightness. Will bring our kids here next time
