Very nice & calm temple of Someshwara. Usually in all Shiva temples we see Shiva in the form of linga. In this temple the idol / statue of Shiva & Parvathi sitting on Shivas vahana is very beautiful. Since Parvathi is sitting behind Shiva, we can see her in the mirror kept behind the idol. Recently, Infosys foundation has helped in renovating this old temple. If you are near Haveri / Gadag / Shiggov / Hubli / Dharwad, try to visit this beautiful temple, as it is just around 40 to 45 kms from the places mentioned above...
