I go there regularly (I live right beside well, close). The employees are ok...they work with what they have to work with (big companies a stingy at times). The roasted chicken is a must try. AND The home made meat (spaghetti) sauce is a must buy!!! The only hick is the fact that they dont keep any unfrozen meat sauce...but then again, they might not have the amount of people to keep unfrozen around (less waist). All in all...ok.

You buy for 200$ worth of groceries, and then the young person whos job it is to greet you and retrieve the carts in the parking lot ask you to leave the cart in the entrance, when you have 10 bags full of the groceries you just bought from this place. I mean, how lazy must one person be to ask this of the client. Also saying to you you have no choice. Excuse me, go do your freaking job. And this is the 2nd time this happened to me at this provigo. Surprisingly not the same person either. (First time was a tall heavy set adult male with glasses, 2nd time was a female in her early 20s.)I dont know if the owner or management know that their employees are this lazy, but I for one am not going back to this provigo.

Great place to shop.

They advertise items on special but quantity is minimal. So why do you make peoples waste gas , time and risk of catching the virus.

The store is very outdated it needs to be renovated. But they are taking all the measurements to keep it clean and disinfecting the carts and they installed a sink to wash your hands before going in the store I guess they want to save money on the hand sanitizer or alcohol for the covid-19.

Clean store but kinda expensive though! Not very good organized for gluten free products. Theyre all mixed up and the floor workers not aware about GF and theyve bad customer service attitude.

Comparable prices. Almost everything they have in stock. Just wish they had Saint Germain spaghetti sauce. Thay had it in the past but no more.

Relatively very old store, in need of renovation. Not a lot of room to move around inside, very few varieties of products, cleaning would be necessary at the entrance, its all over the place, but just entering the rest is ok. Good customer service despite everything at least

Watch out for expiration dates, many expired products on the shelves. Beware of dairy products, I suspect that the cold chain is not always respected. A few times I came across a pint of sour milk even though the date was still good.

The protection for the Covid is in place and well controlled. A person is at the entrance and checks the coming and going of customers. Show them the place to wash their hands and take care to clean the customers baskets. Its reassuring to see a trader paying attention.

Everything is very old and poorly maintained. People at the entrance are overzealous in making customers wait outside despite the cold or the rain.And be careful if you try to enter before being invited, we will tell you very cavalierly. It is very unpleasant. Most stores now use alcohol sanitizers which improve speed, but not here. Also customers often park on the side of the store instead of using a parking space which means that other cars cannot circulate properly and this makes the crossing of children or the elderly hazardous.

Price error charge $ 14.49 instead of $ 5.99. (They had not noticed the product packaging change so new bar code not registered in the system under the good price of $ 5.99). If you dont want to put hand sanitizer at the entrance like other stores do, at least use lukewarm water for hand washing. In winter, if I wear gloves it is not to freeze my fingers in the cold. So I dont at all appreciate taking them off and washing my hands in cold water. I finished washing my hands and I could barely hold my basket like people because my fingers were frozen.

This is not a very inexpensive grocery store and you have to look to find someone to give you information.

New discovery considering my new address. Petit Provigo but with all the items required to fill a grocery basket. The staff are exceptionally friendly. To try: oatmeal and raisin pancakes.Same recipe as elsewhere but with a LOT of raisins and crispy cooked. Delicious.

My new neighborhood grocery store

Cold water to wash your hands and you have no choice to use it because there is no disinfectant. Also, they never have litem which is displayed in the flyer. Whats the point of doing a flyer if loblaws cant supply their groceries? Even an hour after the opening there were no more?

And boy what customer service !!! Briefly yesterday December 15, 2020 I stop at provigo sur rene laennec, I am looking for gourmet pleasure chicken spread oufff surprise one which dates from November 29 and another from December 16. I give the 2 to the attendant at the counter not very happy she has the right to leave it in the counter it expires tomorrow. I get to the cash desk, the three of them are very busy talking all the cashier tells me is you want the bill? And his talk between the three. I felt that I was disturbing. In any case customer service is rotting and pay attention to the expiration date. Look well before you buy. It was 5:30 p.m. on December 15, 2020.

Disappointing

I always do my shopping there. Its a bit pricey but since its close to home, its easier for me to go there. But be careful because many times I ended up with products already expired. When you buy cinnamon powder you pay less attention than if you were buying your milk and thats where the trap is. Sometimes it is eggs, sometimes it is meat etc.
