Had teriyaki surf and turf today. Was only average. Not much taste. But usually a good place. Still give 4 star for total experience.

Prices seem steep at first glance. When you finally get your place you understand that your getting your moneys worth. The plates are very generous, everything I tasted was good. I ordered the General Tao, as I always do and was delighted. My wife ordered some kind of nest. It was a little salty. My friend ordered the duck and he really enjoyed it. The plate arrived steaming hot. The decor is nice, but you really feel like youre in a strip mall resto. Otherwise we really enjoyed our experience.

OMG! OMG! This is the best teriyaki tofu dish Ive ever had. I went there yesterday for the first time. From out side, my first impression was where the heck is my friend taking me but once inside, it was a jaw-dropping experience. The staff, the decor, the Zen ambiance, it was just beautiful. I will definitely make this one of my favorite places to eat.

Great Asian fare at a fair price and byow is a definite plus! Portions are insane. Try their general Tao ying yang.

Definitely very good Thai food but its not the best Ive ever eaten. Its affordable, BYOW and the portions are very generous. Service was a 10/10. I recommend that you save room for dessert because they were simply delicious! (get the Xango cake or fried bananas)

Last night was our first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the first-rate meal and booze and with the friendly charge. We will no doubt go back there in a short time.

I have eaten there about 10 times and the food has always been good. I also like the idea that you can bring your own wine. The last time my wife and I ate there the food wasnt good at all.

Good food, service and ambiance. The quality is consistent, portions are big! Good choices of appetizers and main dishes! Byob and don’t forget to reserve on the weekends as it gets crowded!

The service is always great, plus its quite affordable and BYOB. The food is fresh and the presentation of the dishes is nice.I wish they had vegetarian or vegan options though. The server told me that all of their meals contain either fish or oyster sauce. Nevertheless, they concocted a meal for me that simply contained soy sauce, so I was fed.

Say they serve Thai food but fails to have the different kinds of curry. Food is far from tasting Thai. Edible but nothing more.Good service though.

Food was good! Service was poor, were seated and had to ask for the menus and glass of water, shortly after being seated we were asked to switch tables. Waited 45mins for our food. One of the staff members was rude , first and last time coming here.

We came here for lunch. Everything was okay, but nothing was a stand out. Our dishes were lacking flavor. Decent price for fine food. It might be better at night with a bigger menu.

There is plenty of space for parking, restaurant looks nice and clean, and dishes look nice.The negatives now. We came in and we were not immediately helped. It takes way too long to get the waiter’s attention. There was one short haired male waiter who paid a bit of attention to us. The whole menu was in French with no translation under. The waiters did not bother giving us recommendations or translating for us. We ordered the tempura which were tasty, pad thai chicken and shrimp, and teriyaki chicken plate. When the pad thai arrived it was mostly noodles, and veggies. The meats were almost nonexistent. Same problem with the teriyaki chicken. There was probably 3-4 ounces of chicken which made up 20-25% of the plate and the remainder veggies. To finish up, it took me 6-8 minutes with my hand raised to get the check. The kicker was the restaurant had a few customers. Ordered 2 plates and an appetizer which came out to be 50-55$. A bit expensive for the service provided. An additional complaint, the man in white with a pony tail which seemed to be the owner was extremely uncaring. When we wanted to order or get something he would not look at us even though he walked past us several times.Overall, I do not recommend going to this restaurant when visiting Montréal.

Great places. Closes way too early! Kitchen closes almost an hour before their closing time. Hard to make it there for a meal after work.

Service was courteous and quick. The shrimp wonton soup was very good and the broth had great flavour, however, the general tao was overly sauced and not to my taste flavourwise. If I go again, I will order something cleaner. Portions are huge!

A pretty nice restaurant with a different decor. Its not bad, but when Im looking for Asian cuisine, I expect tastes, textures, ingredients and Asian cooking techniques. There is none of this. Its super suited to the chilly westerners of authentic flavors. Avoid if you are looking for real quality Asian food.

Consistently good Soy. The lunch menu is very affordable. I go there frequently because I dont work very far. The staff are always smiling. In the evening there are often a lot of people so better to book. I recommand it!

We regularly go to Soya.The service is always very good. The servers are friendly and they have a sense of humor. They remember us and our choices. The food is good and plentiful. We have one complaint: the menu booklet has been the same since we went there (+ - 3 years old), they are damaged, stained with food or wine or? We regularly comment to the servers, they are aware, but ... can not do anything. Le Soya has a new owner since the beginning of 2020 (February?) maybe there will be a change, we hope.

Always delicious meal. Friendly and attentive staff. Even in times of covid, the experience was pleasant.

Summer on Tuesday for dinner with friends. We were not fast enough for the waiter. He was in a hurry to take the order, to know if we would have a dessert and charge. We seemed to disturb his quiet little Tuesday. Luckily it is very good though.

I love the soy restaurant because indeed good quality drinks and prices on the spot. I have been to restaurants so many times. However,. I ordered for take out and what a disappointment .... the tao was passable, peanut chicken to be desired gray sauce, vegetables without comments more sauce than vegetables ... Really disappointed but I give them the benefit doubt in reopening and renos, I hope my next experience will live up to what we know of this restaurant

I loved the ambiance the decor the service really great, it was very good but I made a food indigestion with the marinated chicken !!!! And the price is a little high for me So I dont plan to go back there anymore.

Its simply the best Asian restaurant in Laval! All dishes are delicious, the staff is courteous and the atmosphere is warm. On Saturdays, there are two services at night, one from 5 pm to 7:30 pm and the other from 7:30 pm until the restaurant closes. Its very well run for a busy weekday. So, on your phones and book!

We were regular customers and have been for years. Good food, good service, nice decor and not expensive.Now, this restaurant still offers all these qualities, except one, the SERVICE ... which has become BAD.On 3 occasions, we found that the staff was:- stupid- rude- slowFor these reasons, we will never go to this restaurant again and its a shame.Note to the manager: Change your staff (especially 1 in particular)

The chicken was not very fresh and there was too much sauce in the salad, I was unable to eat it. The service was good, but it was too expensive for what I got. Their tempura was missed, all that was undone.

The only place I go for my teriyaki craving. My favorite is the teriyaki duck. My husband capsizes the rack of lamb and my children wonton chicken soup and ginger cod. A true delight.
