Such a big store and stocked with all sorts of animal supplies, training center, vet center, adoption center, and also aquarium section. Its a great store. Super clean, the staff were helpful. I recommend going here if you need a bigger variety of options for your pet. Located in the Largo mall. Had a good time buying and looking at everything.

I absolutely love this place and all the services offered. I buy all of the food for my cat here since they have the best deals.In addition, Ive been bringing my cat to be seen at the Banfield clinic located within this store since 2019 and I refuse to take him anywhere else. The associates in the clinic have always treated me with respect and kindness and treat my cat the same way. This place is always clean and Im happy to continue coming back.

I dont go to Pet Smart that often anymore but they do have a good variety of pet supplies, although I was online and looking for bitter apple or bitter yuck spray and it said they carried it but got there and they only had 1 kind! Thought it was a little pricey at 12.00 but got it anyway and it really worked! Like every where else these days prices are higher than they need to be!!

I bought these two octagon shaped terrariums beginning of July and they ended up not working out for my hamsters. I had to have breast surgery shortly after purchasing them so I wasnt able to lift them to bring them back to the store for exchange. Last night I was able to have somebody carry them both inside for me and I made it there 2 min before closing. Brittany, Alyssa, Kelly and Dan were so so amazing, they understood my situation and helped me search for what I needed. I can not explain enough how thoughtful, compassionate and loving they were. I have always loved PetSmart but this store is something special.

Went to the store to purchase some Angela Fish and some bottem / cleaner fish and the young men that was working there was very helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. Store looks nice, clean and a good vibe everytime I went there...

I took my yorkie to the groomers and was pleased the first time, everything I asked for was done.I took him a second time to the groomers, specifically say do not cut his hair and to file his nails as they had done the first time.They cut his hair, blow dry it in his face, did not trim around sanitary areas, told me he was trying to bite them so they did not trim and file his nails, I called an spoke with the manager she told me to come back the next day for a do over. I went in and the girl wet his hair and try to blow dry it back from his face, this did not work because the other girl had cut it even though I ask them not to because I am trying to grow his hair out. I have been going to this location for over 20 years to get supplies for my cats and dog and I am pleased with there coupons they send me to save on items. I will not take my dog back to the groomers there because no one cared about the service they provided. I can go on about this experience but I will take my yorkie to smaller business and pay for him to have a better experience .

I have had the pleasure of volunteering in PetSmart store number 1085 for approximately a year and a half now. I can honestly state that the vibe in this store is unique among the PetSmarts that I have visited. The staff at this location has always greeted me with a smile and been prepared to offer me any assistance that would be most beneficial for the animal rescue adoptions I was performing. While PetSmart is not always the most cost effective location to purchase pet products, it is worth the visit for the vibes.

I usually only come in for our cats and dog supplies which are competitive with PetCo and Chewy however... Their aquatic department is usually lackluster at best. Some notable improvements on live fish, still wont purchase from a chain store for fish anymore and the big drawback... Get those Betas into a bigger space! Trapped in tiny plastic containers is cruel 😢

The only reason I can think of not to go to PetSmart is that its all too easy to come home with a new feline member of the family. The adaptable cats and kittens are just so sweet!Otherwise, they always have everything we need, the staff is always helpful, and prices are good.

My go to pet store. Easy to gather up rewards and theyve got a massive selection for your respective pet. Not to mention all the KITTIES. Best part of when I come in this store. They are so adorable. Staff is friendly and always quick to make sure the line stays short to get outta the door.

Have taken my dog here 3 or 4 times before with no problems. This time I had a different groomer, she is a new groomer, she must have been nervous or something, because my 12 year old dog can be a verbal complainer, but never bit anyone. They told me my dog cant come back because he bit the supervisor 3 times. My dog has never ever bit anyone before. Dont they know how to handle dogs? My old dog is only 14 pounds, not like he was a large dog.When I picked up 1 dog, they were to trim my 11 month old dogs toe nails. They came out saying he would let them touch his feet. He is young, would think they have techniques to work / teach these dogs to let them trim their toe nails.

I finally found a great bather /groomer at the Petsmart Largo Mall. There are two different types of employees that work in the grooming. One that basically cuts, and one that bather the dog.Now my dog needs special care on her paws. Has come to Love Chloe who was only a bather. Today I found out my dog cannot be seen by her anymore. Because Lily doesn’t require a haircut. This is my fur baby everybody has a special person that they go to whether it be your doctor or a dentist etc. But if they want to become a groomer that entitles them to be trained to cut and not wash your dog. All they will do is cut the fur. Since my dog does not require cutting she’s a terrier mix this great employee won’t and can’t work on my dog because now she’s a groomer not a bather. I would think twice about going to Petsmart and I think we’re going to try out some small businesses and I will get back to you on how I feel about them.Susan🙏🏻

I was there today to pick up cat and dog food and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This PetSmart at Largo Mall has always had really great sales associates. My wife and I generally bring our dog and when we do she is treated like a queen. Thank you very much PetSmart.

I have been taking my dogs to the grooming salon for years to get their nails and bath done. Every salon employee is amazingly nice. I definitely recommend this mall location. It’s in the perfect spot next to many stores I can shop in while I wait. During Christmas or any holiday they give out a super cute chain to go around my dogs neck or an adorable scarf. It is absolutely the cherry on top. My only slight complaint is sometimes the checkout line is long but I understand they get busy.

My 7 year old Boston terrier (Nessie) whom is my life, she keeps my heart beating, shes my medical service dog 🐶just love our PetSmart stores, Nessie gets to pick her own toys out every trip. The staff are amazing, they always have smiles on their faces, asks me if they can help me find anything. Her vets are inside every PetSmart. She loves the Banfield nurses.. *KUTTOS TO PETSMART* GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU ALL*

Love the fact that the shelters come here on Saturdays and Sundays. We got both of our kittens from here last March and although they were a little pricey the ladies that were there were so kind and like gave us suggestions and gave us everything we needed to get started with our for family

Will the Floor customer service rep was top of the line, he helped us get all the hard to find items for cat travel. His exceptional customer service was appreciated.

My friend went in to adopt a cat for his mom. We were there for about 20 minutes before we were helped. During that time we witnessed the owner open one of the cages and spray the cat with water (for what seemed to be for no apparent reason). The kitten was clearly scared of her as it hissed and backed up as close to the glass as it could get. This was very strange to us but we stuck around because his mom really wanted a kitten. They brought us in the back and asked how old we were which we replied with 18 (the age required to adopt a cat), they said they couldn’t let us adopt today. When we told them their website said 18 they said they didn’t feel comfortable adopting to us. The volunteer and the owner were very rude and wouldn’t give a reason why. If they cared so much about their cats then why did they just rob a kitten from a loving home without a reason. They should look into finding new volunteers and owners who truly care about giving these orphaned kittens a home.

Can the management please confirm what is included in the dog training when a dog is shipped from your store? I attended one training. When I asked what the rest of the classes will be like, the female trainer said ALL trainings will ONLY go over the command of leave it. This is not what the staff member said when we adopted our dog. The female training also went on to up sell her extra training, beyond leave it on the side that the person could purchase. The store staff member said we should also receive training on leash walking but that wasnt available per the female trainer.

I got my bearded dragon there, hes a wonderful addition to the family.

Staff was very friendly and informative in the cat adoption process. I got coupons for a free bag of kitten food and $3 coupon off a cat litter pan. Great deal and I got to donate a few dollars to cat rescue.

App hasnt worked, website messing up, cant place online orders, and coupons that are earned, arent working, and are not being honored at this business. Called customer service twice and was lied to. No fix, app is now messing up more than ever.

My dog was fine when I took him to there groomers and was injured while there he keeps yelping in pain he can not jump or play a lot if water came out of his nose which was very weird THEY HURT MY DOG DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

Employees are always great. One star off because lines are usually long when I go. Due to covid lots of supply issues from manufacturers, but at no fault to them.

How does a pet place continue to put bearded dragon in enclosures with water?Humidity causes respiratory issues for them, but high school kids trained by dvds, what do you expect?

This location was closer on my way home (I usually go to a different store) petsmart had my pups food, as well as some treats. The only slight difference was when I was ready to check out the cashier was no where to be found, took about 2 minutes. The other petsmart I go to the cashier literally does not leave her post (per say lol) but other wise it was very nice & clean. And they had little budgies...all sleeping 🥰🥰🥰

I really appreciate their community involvement and adoption support. I wish they were more competitive with food prices though. Grocery stores are usually cheaper. This location also seems to have a small selection of cat medication and support. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

They have a big variety of food, toys and carriers but nobody around if you have a question or need to find a specific item. Only one person at the cash register, I guess they are saving on overhead. The employees that were around like a dog trainer and cashier were very friendly

This morning me and my husband went to the PetSmart in largo. We went to go see the kittys because we were planning on adopting in the very near future. One of the volunteers was really nice and allowed us to go in and play with the kittys. Then another was in the room where all the kitties were and she pretty kicked us out of the room after we were invited by the volunteer that we can play with the cats. This lady was rude and was not very friendly with us at all, she literally kicked us out. I will never adopt a kitten from here with such poor customer service.

This Petsmart chain is just okay. The checkout line could really use another cashier. I did find some food on clearance for 20 dollars so that’s cool.

Friendly and helpful staff. I came to use the tag etching machine and had no trouble. I love the new custom dog tag I got. I was looking for an orange betta fish, but apparently they are rare, but the rest of the selection was very nice. The store was clean. No complaints from me.

WE SPENT 170 SOME DOLLARS FOLLOWED ALL THE RECOMMENED DIRECTIONS FROM THE SALES PERSON AT THAT STORE INCLUDING WAITING A DAY AND THEN GETTING THE FISH 24 HRS LATER AND WE TESTED OUR TANK WATER AT THAT STORE AND THEY EXPRESSED IT WAS PERFECT. WE LEFT FISH IN BAG TO ACCLIMATE TO TEMP OF TANK WATER AND 15 MIN LATER PUT THEM IN THE TANK. WE ALSO SPENT ANOTHER 43 $ FOR THE FISH. AND 3 HOURS LATER THE orange fish was dead and the geen one looks as if its on the verge of dying. Too much to pay for a tiny glow fish. 10 dollars each. Now 20 MIN LATER THE GREEN ONE IS DEAD NEXT THE OTHER 2 WILL DIE WE WANT OUR 40 $ PLUS TAX BACK AND I WANT THEM REPLACED FREE .

I usually go to this store for my random aquarium needs (chemicals/food/etc)This past Saturday, I dropped my cat off for her scheduled booster shots and it took almost 4 hours to complete. Luckily I was able to drop her off and come back when it was done. The staff was courteous and hard-working but they looked understaffed because the phone was always ringing and there was rarely anyone at the desk for an extended period.On the flip side, when I did come back, Pinellas County Humane Society had kittens for adoption. My daughter picked out this little girl and named her Lucky while she was still in the cage.Side note:Saturday grooming and the clinic open at 7am but the store doesnt open its doors until 9am?Update:Added another kitten a year later!

This is one pet store that actually features pets. We were extra happy to stop for our first visit when there was an adoption event taking place. It was extra nice for my granddaughter because she got to pet some cats and watch some birds. I am not a pet owner, but I was very surprised at how many staffers were on hand to answer questions and what a wide variety of inventory they stock. We will gladly be stopping back to buy pet presents for our familys Little Friends.

For cat food it is the best-big supply. Got the dogs nails trimmed and filed, ears cleaned. Oh yay.

My favorite Petsmart is the one at Largo Mall. They have a lot of inventory and always have what I need. The groomers at this location are great. They genuinely love and care about the dogs they groom. I stop and see all those kitten and cats every time I’m there and my pups get good medical attention at the vet located inside! One stop shop!

Largo mall petsmart is the best. The trainer is awesome they had tons of inventory on Christmas items! Grooming is also very friendly did a great job on my dogs nails. The medical team are as pleasant. Went over to the fish as well absolutely no dead fish. All the reptiles look healthy. There was a super cute kitten as well! This petsmart is my go to for everything.

Bought two Betas and they died by next morning. Have plenty of experience with them so not our fault. There was noone in the store greeting or to help just seemed very disengaged.

I only give 2 stars. Reason being I was buying a cat tower, where they were stocked in a location saying it was 39.99, upon checking out it rang up at 89.99, now Ive worked in retail and its not unusual for things to be moved by customers but when you have more than one in the same place that is because they were stocked in the wrong place. I mentioned the problem to the cashier and he basically blew me off. Not really sure if I will shop there again. I did buy the tower because I love my cat!!

I took my beagle here for a spa day and it was fantastic! Our groomer, Vi, was professional and caring. Being a rescue dog he can be a bit much to handle (separation anxiety). She did a great job of being gentle and comforting. It’s been 5 days, he’s still silky smooth and smells good :)

I will no longer use any PetSmart location after my poor experiences at this location. tbh, Id rather have teeth pulled than deal with the staff.

Extremely low stock on many sale items. Since this was Saturday of a long weekend, that seemed like very poor planning. There were a lot of shoppers in the store & there were 2 cashiers open, so that was a plus.

My shopping at the Largo store was mostly uneventful. I am still not able to pay online for my purchases? And as usual, I am not able to find the products I am looking for located in 1 store. But I am able to drive all over Pinellas county to 2 or 3 different stores to make my purchases in person.

Pet Smart while being a bit pricy has what no one else does!! From prescription foods to some of the most fun toys! Classes to train new doggie parents and adopting on the spot!! Because of Covid they DONT always have everything right now, but Im sure they will as this plandemic abates... Great place to shop!

I always bring my dog to this Petsmart get his haircut. I pay for an express and my dog is done in less than two hours and always comes out super cute. They have tons for merchandise for any pet you have! The checkout line moved very quickly. I love that this petsmart is located in a mall as I can shop or even get my hair done while I wait for my baby!

Friendly staff, great prices. Groomers and associates greet my dog by name. They are always very nice to her. ...There actually is one rude groomer. I see people posting about an Autumn. Unfortunately im not sure what the groomers name is that seemed a bit assertive/rude.

Dont bother ordering online for in-store pickup. Their system for inventory management is poor. I attempted to order for pickup and their site confirms they have it available. Yet an email informs me sorry theyve cancelled my order because they cant fill it. A new check on their site still says available at the location. This is a management coupled with an inventory failure. Ill stick with Amazon.

Has a great selection of cat food including prescription food.
