Husband and I went for a Redskins game Summer of 2019 during preseason. We had dream seats so we sat in the 3rd row. We had complimentary food and beverages. We were able to see the players up close but they werent in the way of the game. The staff was friendly. We parked about a mile away since there was no parking at the stadium but was offered a shuttle to and from the field by a private service for a small fee. Overall, nice experience.
Horrific experience...we had club level seats, but walked on all levels for tour, these complaints were noticed end of 1st quarter1) no uniform security bag check--we had to trash my daughters bday bag, 12x18, but saw women carrying larger, non clear bags/purses.2) about 75% of stands had no working fountain soda machine--out of order, 50% were out of pretzels--out of supplies, found 4 stands out of mustard, 6 stands no napkins3) only half of stands open it recent game, thereby making it impossible to find duplicate stands with same items4) from visitors 50 to home 40 no AC on club level halls?5) when buying any drink, why do you have generic cups instead of Washington cups?6) only found 3 souvenir stands, selling mostly jerseys...where r all the souvenir sales n middle of walkways? Stickers, fan stuff, bags, #1 finger, calendars, programs, just STUFF in general to purchase?7) outside workers have no clue where they are, offer no directions to any parking lot, no signs or arrows to bus stations, metro or amtrak.8) the level of CRT, appropriations n cancel culture is a turn off n embarrassing--entertainment team vs cheerleaders? My kids n friends have visited numerous stadiums, this was by far, on many levels, our worst experience at any baseball or football stadium...and to think a marketing guy owns/runs this minor league team?
Getting to the parking lot was a nightmare. The staff directing traffic were spending sometimes minutes per car holding up traffic. We had club level seats. Some seats have cushions, others dont. Appears totally random. View was very good from our seats in section 340. We appreciated the shade. The food options are not good at the club level. Had better food 2 years ago. We tried the BBQ sandwiches at Ella Rays. They were terrible. The pork texture was all wrong and looked minced. I threw mine in the trash. The fries were cold. Food options downstairs looked better but lines were insanely long. The lounge smelled disgusting and the music was uncomfortably loud. There was only canned beer. No draft beer on the club level. Had to go downstairs to get a draft at Devils backbone. By halftime there was no cold blue moon on the club level. There was a ton of hot blue moon at the bar where there were only 2 bartenders. It was extremely difficult to get a beer. There were a few guys carrying beer to the seats but not many and they had a very limited selection. The new entertainment staff was definitely a downgrade from the cheerleaders. I didnt enjoy them. Although they still had pom poms and other similarities to cheerleaders.I wont be returning to this stadium any time soon. I prefer to plan a trip to North Carolina for a Panthers game for an awesome football have experience.
It was great except for people in front of us getting up & down every 30 seconds.
Super Awesome!! I love how the Washington Football team gives back to fans! We took a family trip to watch the practice and even caught a football that came through the net!! Great time with family, friends, and fans! Good Times With Great Memories!!
Unfortunately the stadium is in bad need of repair. The seat coverings in the club section are very worn. In the eating area for Gold Club members there is no handicap seating. There were no napkins. Some food was sitting out uncovered such that people were leaning over and breathing on the food. I dont like to critique people but the dance team is uncoordinated, unprofessional and all over the place. This is a very poor substitute for the Washington Cheerleaders we had. I dont like them at all. Where is the rest of our band? You must do better.....
Nice field!!! But EAGLES ALL DAY EVERYDAY. But I had to go to a preseason game and I have always wanted to visit the FedEx Field. Nice stadium had a ball
Enjoyed the game but it was the worst stadium food I have ever had. Twenty dollars for two hot dogs and a Coke. The hot dogs were TERRIBLE!! I get MUCH better hot dogs at 7-11 for like 2 bucks and they give you free chili and cheese. I can not stress enough how incredibly bad these hot dogs were. Go Chiefs!
Ian was amazing thank you from the bottom of my heart. Paul had a great time. And Im sorry I forgot our other tour guide but she was super as well. Love Laurie
Great preseason game between Washington Football Team and Baltimore Ravens. FedEx Field personnel seemed as excited to have fans back as the fans were. Looking forward to many more returns this year!
Not the greatest stadium in the league. My beer was $14, and the only other option at my stand was Bud Light. Everything is expensive, and there is not too much in the way of Fan experience other than the seats. Its an OK stadium, and serves its purpose with no frills or thrills.
Great Facility. I enjoyed time here with my Dad. just know the seating is tight
Friendly staff, clean facility, welcoming home fans, plenty of parking, and smooth operations with respects to parking and entry. Would love to see another game here!
Game experience is great. You better go early and stay late. Traffic is awful!
Great, so ever glad that I came here, with my Son and Grandson, what a experience, I would do it again, watching my son and grandson enjoying themselves on Live TV, words cant explains , will do it again
Easy access with welcoming staff. Exciting football event
Its a great place to visit if you like football and the Redskins.
Kaitlyn give us a very good tour of the stadium to make the sale to The CDL BOOK CLUB.
The ground was well kept. The employees was very friendly and respectable.I didnt give it a five-star because of the food. It was pre-made so although I got the food fast. I felt as though I was eating 2 hours old food which was not appetizing.. Since the food was also very pricey. It does put a damper on the whole experience.
I attended a game with box seats back in 2012, and finally got back this past year. Really not much has changed in that time here, and best put, the stadium is very utilitarian. It’s fine for a football game, but unless you have box seats, do not expect anything really spectacular. The parking is rather interesting getting to, as maps do not always bring you to the correct lot, and the parking guides and attendants can sometimes be rather clueless (it’s not really their fault, they haven’t really learned any better) which is a point of frustration many times. The metro (Morgan Boulevard Station) brings you about a mile away from the stadium, and it’s all walking from there, but I’ve had no complaints as both times I’ve taken it, it’s been nice and sunny. It’s mostly on par with other stadiums as far as anything else goes. Some reviewers say “there is not a bad seat in the house,” and clearly they have not been in every seat. One of the games I attended had seats in the 100-level section, and was okay, except they were obstructed view from a support beam but were not listed that way online. Thankfully, the ushers has no problem with us moving a bit closer, and as there were very few people at the game, it didn’t hurt anyone. This will not always be the case, for example with playoff games when it really is packed, those seats are very undesirable. Perhaps to compensate for the lack of fans, the music and sounds were blasting so loud, that I believe I may have actually suffered hearing damage, and to cut down on some of the sharpness, I had to wear my hood up or else it actually hurt to have the sound bouncing all around. Overall good stadium, fairly conveniently located off 495, but that also means lots of traffic and no easy on or off like Giants Stadium (MetLife) in New Jersey. Instead you have to drive down the boulevard to get to the parking lots. Worth a visit now because the tickets are so cheap.
Decent facility for its age, but team performance needs some help
Obsolete the instant it opened, Fedex is a local laughingstock. It epitomizes everything the skins are about - costly, poorly run, mediocre-at-best, a ripoff, dated, low-expectations, and bettered in every way possible by the team, and stadium, 45 minutes north on I95.
Its an old venue that is dated and has seen better days. I attended a Ravens game for the first time last season and I can see the fan experience difference clearly. FedEx has bloated concession prices, public transportation access isnt close enough, and the stadium is rarely full and when it is its half filled with opposing teams fans. The product on the field and culture of mediocrity and losing is a whole other topic. RFK it is not. I wish Snyder would sell the team to ownership that hires the right people and fosters a winning franchise. Hes successfully run a once beloved franchise into the ground. Until some serious changes are made I will no longer be attending games in the suite, dream seats or stands. Nor will I watch on TV or purchase any more gear. I supported crucial catch and military service but it stops there. I give great appreciation to the folks in the FedEx business suite, they do a great job. The young lady that served us in the dream seats was also attentive.
I love see my Washington Football Team execute plays in all 3 phases of the game!
FedEx Field My Home From Home.. Ive fallen in love with this staduim, its so big and bright.. The food is amazing and delicious. The workers are generous and was very helpful when helping my wife and I find our seats. I would say tho for a big girl like me with thighs, I do wish the seats was a wider, but thats the only negative thing.
Great Game/ sound system needs to be updated
I was shocked to be approached by a caucasian woman, tall and older. She told me that I cant bring my hand bag in. The hand bad is a small pouch. She gets irate with so many people until she sees so she knows. She then allows this man to enter with his binoculars and hid man bag that is bigger than the womens hand bag. I will not return to that stadium for any games. Unprofessionalism is incorporated into favoritism . All fans should be treated the same.
Would have been better if we won
The absolute worse stadium I have ever been in. Make sure where your seats are at in section 200 because this is your view. Also their speakers system is atrocious , officials are making announcement and you cant hear a word he is saying, you have no idea what is going on. Bathroom room lines for men are extremely long. We left our seats and stood at the standing room only area and had a better view there.
Awesome experience to attend an NFL game. Please note that some rules are enforced by league standards are must be observed in the field. Bags are not allowed inside the stadium, with the exception of transparent NFL-sanctioned bags (which are available for purchase at the official shops inside the stadium). Getting there was easy, either by uber -my choice of transportation - or metro. By uber, you’ll be dropped off in front of a sports center near the tailgating parking lot and will need to walk to the stadium entrance. My visit was on a cold rainy day, and I only had a poncho and sweatshirt on for weather protection. Recommend thicker layers, and possibly windbreaker or weather-proof jackets.Getting home after the game is quite easy. A 20 min walk to the metro station, following the swarm of people passes by quite quickly.Overall, a great experience, that can be even better with the above tips.
Great fan experience as an opposing team fan! The seats were super tight. Im 62 & 215lbs & in most arenas Ive been in I dont have to seat on the edge of my seat to keep from rubbing shoulders the whole time with the people on both sides of me. Fairly easy to get in & out of the stadium. It was cooler & breezier inside concessions area than outside. Food & drinks were average for other stadiums Ive visited. Redskins were pretty cool. Definitely an older stadium in need of some updating.
Long Walk to Morgan BLVD Subway Station Awesome Stadium
The home team has been average or worse for decades, and the current owner has not improved this stadium much since buying the team in 1999. If you are a fan of the visiting team like my experience today, you can consider this an extra home game. We home town fans have been more quiet and less faithful attending.
Was great 👍 job work at FedEx field redskins team game
It was a hassle to get my tickets validated after talking to Dylan it was great but the attendant at E gate are the worst… the service inside was not very assessable.
I came here for the Taylor Swift reputation Stadium Tour concert on July 10, 2018. I traveled from a hotel down the street by accessible ground transportation. When we arrived to security checkpoint on the road leading to the stadium, security told our driver to go to another section of the parking lot to drop me off at. My driver drove there and security told him to go to another location. It was nerve-wracking and unorganized on your securitys part. But finally, we get to the right location and was successfully dropped off. The security and event staff inside the stadium were very nice & helpful. The concert itself was absolutely fantastic and amazing. I had really wonderful seats and could see the stage perfectly. I sat in Section 141, Row 28, Seat 5. Everything was nice and I had an amazing experience. Now leaving the stadium was another story... we waited outside in the Platinum Purple parking lot until almost 1AM because of the horrendous amount of traffic at the stadium. The road leading to the stadium was closed since all the traffic was going towards 495. The security were very nice though and helped me out as I waited for my ride to come pick me up. Overall, the experience with the stadium was good. It was just a bit unorganized and was hoping for it to go smoother. I would come here again, as long as things were doable and organized. I loved the show and everyone who was kind & helpful to me.
My husband and I brought our two boys ages 15 and 12 to see the stadium. We are huge fans. I wish there was a tour unfortunately there wasn’t but we visited the store and fell in love. They have absolutely everything you could want as a Redskins fan. The store is organized and clean with a wide variety of items to choose from. There is something for everyone from teddy bears for baby’s to household items. If you are looking to purchase a gift for a Redskins fan this is by far the best place to get it. We can’t wait to go back for a game.
My first time watching the NY Giants game in person. GIANTS vs REDSKINS. GIANTS WON! Inside of the stadium is nice outside could use some work. Had a great time!
Beautiful stadium. Efficient and very patient security staff. Went there for the Real Madrid Vs Juventus game where 72,000 people attended. It was very well organized.
Ive been to a few games here and I have a property in walking distance. The key is knowing the right timing to avoid the majority of traffic. If you already have tickets and a parking pass wait until just before the game starts to go up to the stadium. The hour b4 kickoff will be bananas with traffic, as at any stadium. Same for walking up there. The best thing you can do is take metro and walk from there- its only just over a mile from door to door. Ive been in the nosebleeds and up close and I havent had an obstructed view. Yes the beers and food are a little on the expensive side but I havent been to a stadium that wasnt. When a game isnt going on people use the area outside the stadium for exercise. The stairs give a great workout and I think 1 1/2 times around the perimeter is a mile. People usually bike the parking lots because they are huge and have nice rolling hills so you get a nice challenge. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars bc they need to offer more plant- based food options on game days.
I LOVE my Redskins but this stadium is subpar. Seats with obstructed views, no home field advantage to speak of, traffic on I495 is terrible and having said all that no place Id rather spend a few hours cheering on my favorite team with my best friends!
Awesome
Nice Stadium. Wish it was actually in DC
Parking is really bad, other than that, pretty standard stadium fare!
The stadium is always awesome. The food is good and the people that work there are always have nice and helpful. The bathrooms are always stocked so there is always toilet paper and paper towels. They do a good job trying to keep it a family area so you can take your little kids to games. There is always somewhere to park. Even if you dont have a parking pass there are other cash lots around the stadium.
Nice stadium, great seats, wet wet football weather, lol ! More 49er fans in the house than for the home team. Great selection of food and beverages and plenty of womens restroom space.Easiest post game stadium exit, really well controlled and directed !!
Fun time today at the season opener!
Monday night football at FedEx was a great experience, our seats were very good.
Very nice stadium, great views of the surrounding area. People were great even though I was rooting for the visiting team
Awesome sports arena. Beautiful, fairly new facility. Tons of concessions. Plan on paying $40 plus for parking on a game day.
Great experience in the Upper levels suites. This facilities staff is hands down the best. HTTR
Great stadium if you can get Redskins memorable!
Great location to catch a show but ladies be sure to check on what size handbag is allowed as so many women had to leave and go back to their car or throw away handbags and no one was allowed an umbrella. If you didn’t drive or couldn’t walk back to your car then you needed up having to dump your stuff in the garbage. Thought this was pretty messed up... so do a check before you even get there.
Nice place with a great history on how the stadium came about.
Warning: be there at least 1 hour before the game! They did not allow any bag bigger than your palm to bring in. Camera was allowed if you take it out of the bag. Stayed in line for renting locks ($15) outside the stadium. The workers were very rude and clueless how to control the crowd and make the lines clear. I almost had a fight with another line because they thought I was cutting in!We were there for Real Madrid and Juventus in the International Champions Cup. It was a great game. Clear view from the suite. Watching crazy fans took the risk of getting arrested running loss on the field was entertaining.Warning again: be prepared to spent 2 hours or so to get out of there. There were NO restaurants anywhere near the stadium! Uber pickup place was far away.In summary, It was a place difficult to get to and difficult to get out! If you come here for an event, wish you Good luck.
Great tailgating nice people, high prices though on everything.
The ticket lady was a great help!
🌟
$50 parking fee! But had a good time
Great stadium, it could be updated though, good seats, I went to go see 49ers vs redskins which led to the 49ers winning!!
An extremely out-dated stadium with very limited breadth of food options. it is inconvenient to access via public transit and is a pain to get in and out of with ride share. be that as it may, the tailgate area is fun - even when the Redskins are playing poorly.
Great game I love the Experience 👍
Went for the Jay Z Beyonce On The Run 2 tour show. Had a great time and they did a great job directing traffic after it was over
Nice atmosphere. A little confusing getting tickets at ticketmaster.
Nice venue, enjoyed the Club level.
Amazing venue! Just to be there is an experience.
Got the opportunity to visit this stadium multiple times and it was a pleasure!
Well due the Redskins season going south tickets were super cheap and the tailgate was great!
Amazing place, super fun, good seats
AMAZING STADIU MTHEY BEAT COWBOY BY LIKE10POINTS
Very nice good parking only thing we lost the Game..
Great atmosphere of watching the Washington Football Team
They really need a better system for rideshare, the drop office is long walk to the stadium
Great atmosphere being an away fan. Redskins fans were very classy and the place is beautiful.
I love any football stadium but FEDEX field is on the lower tier of fan experience. The stadium is difficult to access from DC and the food isnt the best.
Spectacular and exciting to be able to once again be inside the home of the 2020 NFC East Champions Washington Football Team
I havent been to many NFL games song really dont have much to compare it to. But this experience was amazing. I had tickets in the dream seats section. They took care of us. Gave us free food and drinks throughout the game. The ushers even offered to dry our seats off since it was raining. GO NINERS!
As a Dallas Fan I have never stepped foot in this staduim... But when Queen Bey comes to town you do what you gotta do! We paid extra for parking right at the stadium so that was great but as expected with any sold out concert, exiting was horrible! The $16 ciroc and juice I got was disgusting and disappointing but the lemonade was good. The seats are typical stadium seats and from what I saw, the stadium seemed to be well kept. Its no competition for the Dallas Cowboys stadium, but it is what it is.
The restaurant on the club level DeLeon serves the best food, live entertainment, and drinks reasonably priced! Best spot to visit when you come to FedEx Field!
