The place looked like it wasnt taken care of. The whole restaurant smelled like cigarette smoke. Somtam wasnt available but tom yum kung was nice and so was the fried fish. The staff was polite.

I am a Thai food lover and usually go to Baan Thai durbarmarg.This place has lovely ambience,delicious food,quick service and well mannered staff. Unfortunately had to visit the lalitpur branch as I was nearby.The place wasnt as clean and good as Durbar marg yet we ordered our usual order.The staff over there rudely said after 7:30 pm we have to close due to Covid rules.So I asked him if so we can go but he said to wait food will arrive soon we reached at 7pm dot.After waiting for 20min arrived out not so tasty soup.We were merely disappointed.Even after waiting for 47mins our items didnt arrive whereas a couple who came much later to us and ordered same items as our order had arrived.I repeatedly asked the cook and waiter to make our order fast as the road were almost empty there was only patroling of police jeep.They hadnt prepared anything were telling us to wait for some more time.That was it we left empty stomach.Thanks to Mayas momo which was half open we could kill our hunger pangs.It was affordable,tasty and just right.I would request everyone to think 10times before visiting Baan Thai Lalitpur as its simply not worth your time and money.You can enjoy Thai food at Durbar marg branch.

Baan Thai serves the authentic THAI cuisine in Kathmadu. The place is neat and clean with amazing guest service. Staff was attentive and very friendly. They have wide range food pricing, food pricing are very reasonable. The location- accessibility is perfect.*clean public place*not friendly to wheelchair

Best and the most authentic Thai food in town. The hospitality was as great as any other Baan Thai restaurants but the ambience or the place gives you a different feeling. Dont forget to try the grilled crab marinated in Thai spices. Had a great time there!

This is a great place to go in the valley if you are craving for Thai food. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good. We had Tom Yum Kung and Papaya salad which were not bad. The taste is not authentic but is not disappointing. The rice however was not the sticky Jasmin that one would expect. But still, seldom I find a pretty fine Thai restaurant outside Thailand and this happened to be one of them. Its not that great but passes on what how and where it does it.

Authentic Thai cuisine and fast customer service with friendly staff. The parking is bit limited but the overall ambience coupled with delicious Thai food is a must go for Thai food lovers.

I appreciate how this place serves authentic Thai food. The Tom Yom soup had the right flavours and satiated my winter cravings.I would come back here again. Also liked the well trained staff.

Need to work on the ambience and the staff hospitality. Service is extremely slow. Food is full of extra spices.

Lovely thai food

This is Chinese food dressed up as Thai. Really do not recommend. Green Thai curry was goopy, as though corn starch had been used. Zero flavor. Papaya salad was just ok. Underwhelming as compared to other such restaurants.

Okay place and okay food, pricing is quite steep and the service is not remarkable. Many items in the menu were unavailable. The food quality and taste is average. Being honest, you wont get what you pay for.

Delicious authentic Thai food. Best Som Tam (papaya salad) Ive had outside of Thailand. Delicious Nam Thok and Pad Thai noodles. Prices were reasonable and the restaurant itself is extremely clean and cute inside. Service was attentive and fast. Cant wait to go back!!!

Nice place for drinks

Bad service with big attitude and lying waiters and staff. Ordered 1 soup and they brought another one, and instead of apologizing they argue with aggressive manner. Dont recommend to any one to visit this place. I dont know about other branch but this one is one of the worst restaurant in town.

First time visited, very bad impression, best foods from menu were not available, no water in restroom, 45 minutes for food, got 2 and half pieces of springroll for 350 rs, waiter excused for having no electricity caused delay, no power backup in such expensive restaurant??asked all food at the same time but everything came in installment, not recommended at all.
