I visited to Mochi gate. I would like to recommend to the citizen for negotiation and dealing with all types of the goods casually used to in daily life.
Mochi gate is one of the thirteen gates of Lahore. Its famous for its dry-fruit and nut vendors, sweets (Rafiq and Fazal sweets), kites, fireworks and the famous Mochi Gate park. With a large Shia population it has one of the oldest Imambargahs in Lahore from where you can see the traditional Ashura procession in Muharram. The tharra (Stoop) culture which can be seen in New York is present here too as the residents, male and female sit and socialise on these outside their shops and houses respectively. It is a place worth exploring and history pores through every street of the area. It might not be as famous as the other gates but its worth visiting to experience Lahore.

Rated 5 stars just because its my birthplace as well as residency area too but not suitable for residency anymore because its surrounded by All commercial markets including wholesale and retails.Heavy traffic and encroachment will be found all day time which makes it pedestrians as well as bike riders very harder to go reach their destinations.
Nyc please in the lahore wohl Sall market
Mochi gate is one of the 13 gates of Lahore. Due to different course of actions, and regimes, the structure of gate doesnt exist anymore. But the Mohallahs, Bazar and buildings still exist. The bazar around Mochi gate is famous for dry fruits, kites and fireworks. There is also Muhallah Shia where Shia Muslims gather on occasion of Muharram. Another interesting, ancient and historical place is Masjid Saleh Kamboh which was named after teacher of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Most famous political rally spot Mochi Bagh is also situated near the gate. Overall the place holds a historical value.

Goods made out of plastic and steel on reasonable prices, dry fruits local dishes etc etc.The inner side of this locality depicts the piture of people living in closed bondings.

The Mochi Gate locally known as Mochi Darwaza (موچی دروازہ) located in south of the Walled City of Lahore between Akbari and the Shah Alam Gates in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is one of the thirteen gates of the Walled City of Lahore which were built during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Akbar and were connected with a thirty feet high fortified wall for guarding the city. The gates were demolished during the British rule but were again constructed in early 1900s but during the riots of 1947 some gates were burnt down and some were demolished, Mochi Gate was one of them. The structure of the gate does not exist now but the streets, mohallah and buildings of high architectural value can still be seen in its streets.

The Mochi Gate locally known as Mochi Darwaza is located within the walked city of lahore.Mochi Gate is a historical gate built by the Mughals. It is at the site of one of the thirteen gates of the old walled city of Lahore. The Darwaza used to exist next to the Laal Haveli,Imambargah Akbar Ali shah, a prominent landmark at the entrance point. Mochi Gate is also known for ancient Mosque of Muhammad Saleh Kamboh, teacher of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.According to a legend it is named after Moti, a guard of the gate during the Mughal era, who guarded and looked after the gate all his life. This is further borne by the fact that the different streets (Mohallas) which still bear their old names are the Mohalla Teer-garan, Mohalla Kaman-garan.The bazaar around the Mochi gate is renowned for its shops of dried fruit, kites and fireworks Further inside is the Mohalla Shia, where the traditional Shia of lahore still gather annually, at Moharram to carry out the Majaalis and Maatum to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain.A number of Imaam Bargahs in the form of Havelis are situated here. Apart from their religious significance, some are a masterpiece depicting the architecture of their times. Mubarak Haveli, Nisar Haveli and Laal Haveli are, but a few examples. A Kebab Shop, a sweet mart and an Old Khoo (Lal Khoo) are some of the well known features of Mohalla Shia. In front of the Laal Haveli is the Mochi Baagh. This, until recently, was a lush green patch with shady trees, it is barren now due to its landscaping to become a speakers corner in the light of its history of it having numerous renowned political leaders addressing the crowds at this place. Now this garden is used for wedding ceremonies by locals and for playing Cricket by the local boys
