The answer is No!This former Chief Justice Jawwad S Khawaja chose to take a different path. He decided to open a school in a village where alongside other teachers, he himself also teaches!!! Not only that, his wife Bina Jawwad teaches classical dance and music to children. Unbelievable but true! Children are taught poetry of Ghalib, Faiz, Bulleh Shah among others. Artists, thinkers etc teach children here. The entire concept of the school is to make children good human beings and instill cultural and humanistic values in them.What is most unique and rare about this school is the fact that Justice Khawaja and his family decided to take their 5 grandchildren out from elite schools and enrol them in this school where they get to study with children from the village, play with them and make friends with them. This is the first time ever that I saw something like this in Pakistan. Do such people really exist in our society? Yes they do. Meet Justice Jawad S Khawaja and Bina Jawad. Children enjoy school so much that they wish school hours were longer.
