Defence Raya Golf and Country Club is a nice spot to have a get together with friends and family. Bit far from the city, the place is still new and trying to attract people with a few restaurants and a cinema. Though I noticed there was not much to do in the club at all. Should start doing activities to seek attention.

Was a nice experience. Its basically a golf club with nice rooms available to stay. Nice amenities lick free children play area and indoor swim area beside gym.

Great place, great service and great views sums up this resort. You can get decent deals if you use one of the hotel shopping sites. Note, there is a dress code as these guys consider themselves a private club. Staff is courteous unless youre unlucky. Security is very good if youre worried about that.Recommended for families and singles alike visiting Lahore.

Fabulous hotel with outstanding customer service.The rooms were pretty decent with an astonishing views of golf course. I must say, Pakistan’s Army hotels have standards which really make difference. However, the balcony area had no privacy because all balconies were next to each other and separated by only glass blocks.

Played the defence raya course and loved it. My favorite golf course. Love the layout. Greens roll fast and true. Fairways are perfect and course is very challenging. Caddies are very knowledgeable and easy-going. Professional staff that knows golf.

Great sporting experience and an excellent place to hang out, especially in winters on the terrace. Prices are surprisingly high for no reason, compared to other clubs.International foods are great though local cuisines could use a bit more something especially because most chefs are trained internationally, they may not necessarily know how local foods are made. Rest all is good!

You may call it a premium club for recreational activities but I must say that its bit overrated. You can find even similar facilities in any other club of Lahore i.e LG&CC. A nice swimming pool, a nice snooker club, a nice spa and the best of all is the hotel rooms. All in all a nice place to be at.

Its over priced.The facility is beautiful. There are restraunts that serve good food, a kids indoors play area, with supervisors, a very nice gym, separate for men and women, swimming pools, etc, all surrounded by beautiful golf courts.The ladies swimming pool is significantly smaller than the mens pool, and less than 5 feet deep, at the deepest. The beautiful changing rooms lead to a disappointing pool. There is a childrens pool next to it, though, which is nice.But it all costs an arm and a leg.The beautiful surrounding greens arent available for football, croquet, or picnicing, they are reserved for golf, and only that.Personally, if I am paying as much as this place costs, I expect everything. An awesome pool, soccer fields, cricket fields, basketball fields, archery and shooting ranges, a library and reading room, the works. Every hobby or sport that any significant number of people has, should be catered to.Basically, I cant imagine paying for this place, but also having to go somewhere else to play tennis, or swim (the ladies pool is really lame.)

I had a pleasant stay at Raya. They had all the pleasantries and my suite was actually well designed and luxurious. I really enjoyed my stay there.The only negative I want to flag will be the cable in the rooms. It was terrible 😜

It has decent food options available. Golf course is nice close to DHA. Good option for staying or for business meetings. Cinema hall is average but they are improving. You can easily find marking spots, there is enough for all the guests. Breakfast menu and quality is very good at this place.

The facilities are awesome. Better food than most clubs. Kid area is the main highlight for me. We leave our daughter there and she’s super happy, while we have fun at the game room

My experience at this club was horrible. The staff are uneducated and not trained. They have no idea how to run a golf club. Not recommended for single golfers or groups of two, especially on the weekends. They promised me to pair with a duo. The starter was nowhere to be found around my tee time. They messed up my first tee time and then promised to put me on with another group in 30 mins. They messed up that too. Any other course in the world would have let me go alone or would have found a way to fit me in but the staff here is unprofessional, uneducated and not at all representative of the reputation this golf course has. I would skip this golf course and go to royal palm.

An amazing exotic place to stay in Lahore. A bit far from the center, but certainly worth it if you want to stay adjacent a golf course. They have friendly helpful staff and many other amenities such as snooker, billiards, table tennis, salon, restaurant, etc.

Attentive staff, esp the restaurant. Check in is tricky if you arent a Pakistani national. Lovely gold club and attire needed for golfing or dining.

The Club house and the Hotel inside is immaculate, kind of 4+ Star facilities. The food quality is also very good at a very reasonable prices. Amenities are wonderful. They also have a cinema so if u r free in the evening, you can watch movie while staying in the hotel. The view from Dinning Hall of Golf Course is awesome.The only downside is it is far from the main city.

Outdoor Barbeque place is good. Its scenic specially at night when you get to see the Lush green Golf course and night lights make it more beautiful. Indoor area is also good place for hanging out with friends and family. Visited the place twice and found it good each time. Parking lot is large enough. Overall a good experience 👏👌

Tried the Chinese menu as part of the fine dining experience at the club house. The dress code was smart casual and price was $$$. We loved the food, service and portions. Totally recommend it if you want to spend an evening celebrating a special occasion.

Outclass club. Well maintained. Entry by membership but you can follow a member to enter in the club and also can organise your party with help of a member. Location is peaceful. Awesome decore. Cool and calm place to organize a function. They have a modern restaurant and big halls to organize wedding ceremonies and such kind of parties.

By far the best stay in any hotel in lahore.best and clean facilities.plenty to do once you get there.just plan a few days extra so you can enjoy the spa and the golf course.most of all the food was mind blowing.

Raya is amazing! Their food selections are exquisite and their bedrooms are comfortable and nice. Why I put 4 stars is because for eating, they have a dress code. I don’t really think the dress code helps anything, and my family has been kicked out numerous times while eating, and we werr starving. I also think that Raya should work on their booking room process. They have no idea how many rooms are booked or not and if you can come without notice. They seem confused the rest was good.

I went to hall no 3 at an engagement ceremony.....hall aesthetically built with good ambiance and good spacious parking. The food was also excellent! A very nice experience overall

It has good taste and nice variety of salads including cakes, Custer, and fruits, while main courses have multiple dishes like mutton, chicken, Chinese food and barbeques. Iftar buffet was good too. Arrangement and environment are great. They have very slow service, they must consider to improve speed of serving.

A Nice four star place for armed forces . All civilian guests are thoroughly questioned for entry at the gate. Even a telephone call is made to host for confirmation.

It has a majestic entrance and the staff is so polite. After all they are charging good coins for the membership so they have got everything and every facility up to the mark.

Worst management in Lahore. They try to rip you in the guest count. And the service is pathetic. This review is for the roof top event. Not sure how other services are. The management should hold an inquiry against the catering manager. Cash was collected and no receipt given.

Its too far out if you are coming from Gulberg or further away. Not to mention the food isnt that good. Three star cause its spacious and interior is good for hosting weddings and all. Parking is small though.

Nice place with so many rules. Like they never mentioned to you the dress code which is mandatory for any restaurant inside the vicinity. For leisure trip with family or alone you have to bring dress shirt, formal trouser and possibly a tie and if Shalwar Qameez than it must be with Waist Coat to have your early morning breakfast or in that case want to use any restaurant. This is crazy on a weekend trip for relaxation one has to equip with such gear.Not recommended with family.

Visited DHA Raya Coffee ship. Ambiance is too good but it’s costly. Club has hot and cold water swimming pool , spa services, nineteen hole world class golf course , Guestrooms, cinema, coffee shop, snooker room, card room, separate prayer areas, separate gymnasium for male and female, Guestrooms etc. Moreover, Club has daily buffet dinner which include namak mandi special on Thursday which is one of the best in town.

Service is as pathetic as can be. Staff is not accommodating. Bathrooms in general have a sewerage stench.Shower cubicles have no stands; you have to put your toiletries on the floor. Numbers given on the phone book are incorrect.The only good thing about this place is the beauty that surrounds it and also the Kids play area.
