The place beautiful but the people there are outrageous, it is mosque n there is no wudu place for women or prayer area. I went there n asked the people for ladies wudu place n was told its mixed and went to see the prayer area n there were men sitting there watching women pray, absolutely disgusting, at the front of the mosque its like a market place nothing like religious monument. It really is disappointing to see what people have done to these place that should of pride of Pakistan

The Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb built the Badshahi Mosque, or the Emperors Mosque, in 1673 in Lahore, Pakistan. The mosque displays an excellent example of Mughal era architecture. The second largest mosque in Pakistan, after the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, the sanctuary accommodates over 55,000 worshipers. Jama Masjid in Delhi, India, closely resembles the architecture and design of the Badshahi Masjid. Badshahi Masjid is one of the locations where Qari Abdul Basit recited the Quran.

A superb Mughal architecture built in 1673 by Aurangzeb where more one hundred thousand people can perform prayers at a time. With 3 tombs and 8 minarets that stand around 54 meters high made with limestone and marble represent the historical background of using limestone some 400 years before. Food quality and services are not satisfactory around Masjid, Hazoori Bagh, Shahi Qila, and Ranjit Singhs Arthee areas.
