This place was so nice for getting enjoyment through boating due to corona the city forest was closed but boat is available for ride 120rupess per head for kids less than 5years had no ticket.it is free of cost .Boat ride is so nice people who wants to take an adventures can visit this place you definitely enjoyed it .Especially it is surrounded by farming the nature was so cool ...

Enjoyed a lot with my family. For me, this is a very amazing and adventurous place...! Atmosphere here is very calm.Everybody must visit this place. Loved it!!!I just suggest to provide some dustbins wherever the people suppose to eat. I want it to be free of (some) garbage...

A complete surprise for me to see this place. Feels like you are actually in dense forest. Got speed boating options too.

I will give a 4 star considering something is better than nothing in and around the city. Best times to visit is post rainy season until March. Boat ride gives an adrenaline rush with the adventurous jerks of the rider. He deserves some tips.For morning / evening walks, the forest ( but not really) is a good place., you can breath some fresh air. Sit on the benches and relax listening to the bird chirps, watch the migratory birds reaching the nesting grounds from 4.45 pm on wards, the flocks come in in 1000s of them from different directions in different intervals. That makes you think about the wonders of the nature. if you want to watch the birds from close by and click some nice pics with your DSLRs, I suggest you make the arrangements with the boat rider.Worth visiting, at least kids enjoyed a lot. Drive through your own car ( very rough road with full of rocks) better keep spare wheels.

Very pleasant and great place to hangout with family and friends. With boating, sight seeing and enjoying with natural environment is great. Good picnic spot. Benches and cement dining area for munching is very good. Clean and green.

Boating was very nice & first time in KURNOOL, but duration of travel in boat was very short time, which doesnt satisfy us... And about park there is less play activities for children.. There is nothing adult... This place surrounded farming lawn... Good atmosphere... Need much improvement & better facilities....

Awesome place.. Nature lovers must visit this place. Pagoda , watch tower, Open air theatre etc are really beautiful. For families with children better take short cut route from behind interpretation centre.

Best place to hangout with family... It is slowly developing to attract tourists.. I think boating cost is little bit expensive...duration of boating is approx 10min.. Thats it.. For that they are charging 350/- for 4Persons..

When to visit??Summer - not recommended.Winter- its ok to visit. you can have fun with boat riding and enjoy greenery presence.( Dont expect the same in summer as you will not find water in lake and park)Rainy - You can enjoy boat riding if the water level is full(try to find before visiting). Bring all your equipments to face the rain as you will find shelter with limits.With whom to Visit??Its place where you can take some break with family and friends. Conditions applied below.1.Family with aged people:Its tough place to walk as they cant complete the 5km track (even via short cut). If they still ready to complete the challenge plz ask them to carry water bottle with them.My recommendation would be explore few places around entrance.2. With kids:If you are with kids try to explore few places around entrance.Where you will find to Eat?As of now you will get few snacks at ticket counter( dont know if he has permission to sell it) . AP tourism resort under construction.We need wait for some more time. Would recommend to carry few food items to fullfil your belly. Try carry water as much as you can. If you be easily hydrated during sunny days.What to wear?Aways please come with running shoes. All the path are covered with natural and rough pebbles which can cause the injury to your legs.Things to do:1. Boat riding.2. Enjoy the greenery (only in rainy and winterSeason).3. If you guys know the swimming try to enjoy at the exist way to the lake(near to main road).4. have some family /friends get to gether parties as you can carry food along with you.5. Try to explore the nature. You will find few bird species around lake.You can try your photography skills here.
