This is one of the worst run CSD services off late. They feel they are doing a charity program here. This is now a days run by civilians and all kinds of mischief happens. The civilians command the vetrans and make them learn how to behave like seriously. They expect them to walk from pole to post about 2 kms for getting a token to get in to the canteen. Even Lord Thirumala darsanam seems a easy way out than taking grocessories here. When we report it falls into deaf ears. The inconvenience experienced here - no one should under go. The CO dont know about their where abouts - are being misinformed and they still feel they are commanding a regiment of 20 years old on the border. Just like operational training the COS must be made to under go training as to how to manage CSD and treat vetrans. This has to be badly reported.

Great place to afford products at reasonable prices... But it is only for army personnel card holders.

They dont know how to manage canteen. And managing given to civil people.

Its Canteen services for Defence personnel (Army, Navy & Airforce) only.Presently canteen held good stock of toiletry, sanitary items / Daily essentials.At present, reputed brand liquor is available (as on date)Due to Covid restrictions limited members are allowed each time.Now a days tokens has been issued as per Card Number( Refer Pic1).Tokens issue starts at 0900 hrs at TGV kalyana mandapam (Back side of canteen).Limited service personnel allowed.(All above data is based on todays date 14 Oct 2020).Procedure and stock varies time to time

A very better place for INDIAN ARMY services people and ex.service men for getting concessions on shopping... on each and every item you buy will get concessionBut here we cant buy big big items like two wheeler Vehicles , big electronic goods like refrigerator, air conditioners, air coolers, washing machines, Dish washers, led televisions, r.o. purification systems, etc...Here there is a minus thing is a big waiting queues there we can get embarrassed...And there is also no parking area and etc..

Because , there is no respect for armys persons family members, poor customers service, poor infrastructure,no responsibility of the off persons towards the people , unqualified system operator and staff,no facilities, URC has to be as Hyderabad URC system ,it has to be like super market not has general store(mom & pap shops)no systematic way,no proper behaviour ,off persons behave has army officer and treat others has army soldiers.

Its distance to city no pollution and enjoy with village atmosphere

Kurnool, particularly N.C.C Canteen area is a favourate place to me because I lived there for more than twenty five years. I worked as Lecturer in K.V.R.Government college amd Government Mens college and as Principal for Government Degree College, Nandikotkur Kurnool. I enjoyed living there doing my duty perfectly and happily. I have got pleasent memories about that place. During that time, I used to observe so many people coming to N.C.C.Canteen and purchasing the requirements at reasonable prices. Military Officers are residing in that campus with the families having friendly relations with surrounding people. All people feel sheltered and protected there.
