Loved the climb which was having too much inclination. From the top the view is beautiful, the cold breeze is jst awesome😌. After a visit to the temple, in the steps there you can try those tasty sweets and spicy food😋 they are tooo tasty.... Try to give a visit to this beautiful temple on the hill.

Beautiful place at a distance of 55km from Mysore. Go for the sunrise Which is mesmerising 🤩.Visit this place aftr rainy season during winter when the nature is green..Dont follow google maps , it will show the wrong direction so ask localites and confirm...

Best place to visit in Sargur

Absolutely beautiful place. Great view from the top and a peaceful temple. Road to reach the temple is narrow with around 10 hairpin bends, make sure you’re experienced enough to take your car up. Small parking space available at the top near the temple. You’ve to climb around 50 steps to reach the temple from the parking.

Another beautiful temple amid the peaceful surroundings. Road to reach the temple is quite bumpy for few kms except that the drive is very beautiful. Can spot the Nugu reservoir from the top..

Beautiful place. Mini Nandi hills back in Mysore. Loved the view from the top. One can see Nuggu back water from the top. I suggest to reach this place either for sunrise or sunset. During night entire path from bottom to top of the temple is lit with Street lights. Its a treat to watch this temple from far during night.

Beautiful hill top temple near Hd kote and nanjangud town. You can take your bike and car till the top there is parking space near temple. U get to see good views of nugu and kabini dam from the top of the temple.its very old and ancient temple.

A nice litre drive up the hill. Temple is small but neatly constructed. There is still some construction work pending. A small walk up the hill around 50 steps from parking. No parking fees or entry fees. Two security guards at the bottom of the steps check temperature and put sanitizer. They dont enforce masks though. Temple is open all round. Due to covid the shops uphill were not open. As usual our folks have thrown enough garbage near the temple and near the shops. Beware of monkeys at the top.

Adventurous spiritual place. The hair pin curves to reach the temple drives you crazy. Very well maintained roads and temple surroundings. Less crowd and shops nearby. The view from the top of the hill is amazing and mind blowing. No sign boards on the way but local people will guide you better. Good to take your own food and water if required for kids and old age people. Should be careful with monkeys around. Totally a wonderful experience.

A really beautiful place just 60kms from Mysuru.. a challenging climb up the hill with your vehicles... the views are splendid...The place doesnt have good connectivity..so best to come in your own vehicles..

Chikka devammana temple is top of this Betta.Road is not in good condition but construction is going on and there is small parking in top when crowded it gets jammed. The view in top is amazing and beautiful especially after monsoons rain and we can view nugu dam back view. Usually surrounding people come near temple they cook there own food there are several room for rent for cooking it self which I saw. From HDKote road is not that much good but we can go for that view point.

One of the oldest hills which has been renovated recently, hills is faboulus and has more curvature road through which only high skilled drivers can take the vechical to the top of the hills, powerful god and many do believe in her strength till today. Only car and bike Parkings are allowed on the top of hill, 4 wheelers of huge buses and goods carriers has been banned since there was a land slide during rainy season. Trekking can be done but there are no proper concerned securities to guide so, I feel its not that safe to go for any adventure kind of activities. Its been heard by the farmers that many wild animals have stayed nearby which will be seen during night time. View point of nugu river and even the kabini river can be seen on the top of the hill. To feel sunrise and sunset make a plan once.

Wonderful place. Calm and serene place for a days outing. Temple is also good. There are hairpin curves all along till top. While ascending during monsoon season, backwaters from nugu dam is a sight to capture.Roads are well maintained. Place can be reached from different directions but one from Sargur side is the best and also shortest. There are no hotels or shops on top. We need to carry our own supplies. Public transport is unavailable

Recently temple infrastructure has built. One can enjoy the Beautiful hill view from the top! Basic facilities for the devotees such has restrooms, drinking water, assistance for vulnerable people, trolley facilities for old age people, cleanliness and security measures need to be taken care.

Excellent view point.Can see both Kabini and Nugu reservoir from this point.A very old 16th century,Chola empire built temple is atop of this hill.Overall a must visit if you plan to visit places near Kabini reservoir.

Early morning visits are best for this place.Near by you got many places to visit.I strongly suggest to consider this one as a weekend getaway

Temple replicates the lord chikkadevamma 👉younger sister of Sri Chamundeshwari.Its just 50k.m far from Mysore & 40k.m away from Nanjangud, can be planned for one day trip but avoid weekends especially Sunday.Really we had good time there with complete divine & peace of mind. The nature over there seems to be interesting and mesmerising.❤️💚

Theres a path to hike to the too of the hill. Thats simply awesome. Though it is slippery during rainy season. The view atop The hill is fantastic. But there are too many monkeys there. So be careful of your phone, camera, food etc..
