They are a complete joke. I would encourage you to never conduct business with them as they waste your time and offer you laughable rates for your work.

Caters reached out after hearing about my story of overcoming really horrific medical circumstances. Worked with Caters last year and was pleasantly surprised with the results. I was approached about licensing some of my severe weather/human interaction photography. Usually I just get emails from companies like the weather channel and discovery trying to get my material for free (apparently many of these major sites rely on the vanity of individuals or something anymore), but Caters offered a fair licensing deal. Figured why not. In the end, I walked away with a good impression of Caters News Agency. If you are approached by Caters for your photos or story, I can attest to their legitimacy. Not sure if names should be dropped here, but I will say the woman I mainly worked with was extremely professional and helpful.Pros- One of the best photo licensing percentages Ive encountered. Most are complete rip offs (looking at you every stock licensing company in the world). Caters is fair to their clientele in my opinion. Hard to find these days with the amount of photography out there.- Extremely professional and friendly team.- Respond quickly to emails.- Took care of some of the email traffic I received from websites looking to use my material for free, and Caters ended up turning something annoying into licensing agreements a time or two.Con- Only one. There was a miscommunication with one of their sister companies. Ended up wasting half a day getting photos to the sister company that were never licensed. Not necessarily Caters fault, but communication should have been better between the two. Has probably been remedied since. Caters even apologized. So Im still giving them a 5.Overall, highly recommended, especially if youve been burned by stock licensing agencies in the past. Some of the larger agencies should take note. Would work with Caters again.

It was great to create a story about my travels. I mainly worked with a man that was extremely professional and helpful in publishing my work!

I have worked with Caters after Lauren Campbell contacted me about some photos I had taken. I was initially cautious, but Lauren was open and honest about the process. Once we agreed everything, they took care of everything and made it very simple! The whole way along the line I was expecting to be let down, but every time they promised something, they followed through and gave me massive exposure to the photos I had taken.
