Asoka is must try, most delicious sweet. Other sweets are also good

For the past 40 years, My favourite is Murari Halwa. Very very Tasty.

Good and well known place in the town. People at times get confiused with several Murari sweet branches as the first name of this is the same.There are shops one is this which is Kumbakonam Murari Sweets and the other one is Bombay Murari Sweets. This branch offers good chat options as well. I have tried sweets and most of them are good. Also at this branch near Sastra college they have around 6 tables seating capacity, which can accommodate around 20-25 people for quick snack. Overall a good experience.

Have ordered, Peda, Ghee soan papdi and dry jamun from Murari sweets.Peda was too good, couldnt control with one or two, the cardamom ratio in peda was little high and it gave super kick to the sweet as well as to our tastebuds.Ghee soanpapdi was too soft and mouthwatering when I tasted, these sweets will not stop you with one for sure.I am a big fan of dry jamun from Jayalakshmi sweets, West Tambaram, almost had same taste at Murari too.All these sweets are standard rate, 400 per kg, definitely its value for money ✌

Last Saturday i bought some assorted milk sweets but the half kg sweet had a bad odour. Also found the box used for packing was is made of recycled material. After removing the box I shifted the sweets into a SS container and still the odour didnt leave. In the year 2015 I bought about 7to8kgs of sweet during ayisha pooja. I experienced the same.

I purchased sweets for Rs 205. When I wanted to use the credit card or G pay they said that they would charge the GST. Asked me to pay cash to avoid the additional charges of GST. This means they are evading the GST.
