The stay was pleasant and it’s nearby to Kumbakonam. Easily commutable to nearest temples. Room was clean and well maintained. As everyone concerned about restrooms in the stay it was neat and clean.

Excellent stay more than expected. Clean and hygiene rooms. We stayed 2 days. All rooms were attached with hall and kitchen. We had lunch (Awesome meals) and superb coffee in hotel itself, home prepared food. Important point is they adjusted time for check out, 24 hrs from checkin is calculated as 1 day, which was helpful. Adjustable rates. Good hospitality. It was run by a family who stays at ground floor and were helpful. Environment is so calm and greenish. Only drawback is little away from kumbakonam city, but when we have personal vehicle no issues.

A better place to reside for a day. Rather a hotel by name, it is a home and gives a good feel of home stay. worth for money.

Nice and calm place to stay in Swami malai. Very close to Swami malai murugan temple. They have wide range of 1bhk/2bhk type semi apartment with both a/c and non/ac at nominal price. Only con is that there is no restaurant functioning currently in the property and the closer restaurant is little far away. Other than that an ideal place for families and bachelors.

Hi, we visited kumbakonam in the first week of January 21 and happen to stay at Thirumalai Home Stay, It is a lovely experience staying there, we were 5 adults plus 2 children, we are received warmly by the owner madam, she showed a double bedroom flat which was very neat and tidy with all amenities, also provide us with dinner at 10 pm in the night, freshly cooked, hot and tasty and the price is very reasonable. We stayed for two days, it was very comfort like staying in our own house. I strongly recommend to stay here whoever wants to visit kumbakonam. Thanks for the owner and madam. Like to see you again. I would like to add that the owners son told me to get drinking water from kitchen sink tap. I didnt see any ro arrangements. God, this is my first experience when I find that they are sweeping and swabbing as the guest arrives at the property for a late check in

Cheap and neat stay. Only drawback is that it is at a higher distance from City centre. Excellent option for those travelling in own vehicles.

Clean ND neat

Very well maintained clean rooms. Could have done better in terms of colour coordination of bed linen etc. But it is a whole family that takes care of the place and the guests. So it really feels like home and must be so for all south Indians. Their home cooked breakfast and lunch were a treat. Hot meals served on banana leaves with plenty of veggies all sourced from their garden. Truly memorable.

Each room has a hall, bed room and kitchen (who prefers to cook on their own).They are providing home made food also....perfect place to stay with your family. Car parking facility also available here...This place is close to swamimalai and out of crowded place...price for stay also nominal compared to hotel stay.
