This seaview restaurant really surprised me! Never expect to have such good Chinese restaurant in Perlis! Every dish i ordered is taste fantastic. Seafood is fresh. Service is good.Most importantly, the price is almost 2x cheaper than KL or Langkawi.

Used to be the best seafood restaurant in Perlis. But food quality has deteriorated and price increased since they move here. Always crowded especially on weekend and public holiday and Please be informed that small size dish is really small. yes dont forget the satay! Reasonable price and super delicious

This is the most amazing restaurant in Kuala Perlis. The place is clean and staff are very friendly. The food is so delicious. We went twice we ordered chicken phet phat, lemon chicken and prawns as well as rice and all the dishes we ordered were very tasty. The view from the outside sitting area is nice too.Not to be missed.

Food was great and will be back. It is a place where the locals will go for seafood. We had prawns, steam fish , fried chicken and kangkung belacan. Spacious with both air cond and open air concept. We were there about6 pm and it was already quite a lot of people.

I pretty disappointed on the salad lobster and butter lobster, which this time are not chewy and juice as expected. For your information, this is not my first time visiting hai thien, which mean my expectation are pretty high.Keng som fish are not sour or spicy at all = tasteless.Teow chew steam fish not sour enough.Homemade taufu is surprisingly yummy.Mantis prawn kong po is good.Mantis prawn salted egg is below average.You might sounds like im not going back here, yet I will.I heard kerabu is great and also salted egg crab. Will going back to taste it soon and hope they will improvise their lobster to the right standard.

This place is cozy and relaxing as its close to the beach but a bit windy. Overall food tasted really good but the butter prawn a bit dissapointing. The prawn itself is tasteless and the butter and egg is really sweet. Maybe i was just unlucky that night so still recommended to try as it was fresh.

The go to seafood restaurant in Kuala Perlis. Its located at a strategic place near the seaside. It about 300-400 meters from Kuala Perlis jetty. Ive been patronising this restaurant over 25 years... before they moved to current location, it was located on a wooden platform not far from Kuala Perlis jetty. (In between the jetty and LKIM)Eventime when I am back to Kuala Perlis; my in-laws will treat me dinner at this restaurant. The foods were deliciously good. Especially when they were in the previous location. Over the years the oroginal cook has retired and new cook took over. It was still nice then until around 5 years back.The taste no longer as good. E.g food taste more sugary and I gets thirsty after meals. Possible the over use of MSG. My favourite was sea catfish asam fried with dried chilies(the thick gravy dish). Last I had the soury was more like from vinegar.(acid ascetic). Ikan 3 rasa (3 flavour fish I.e. sweet,sour salty)was also disappointing the last visit. Basically I cant remembered much as the foods was so so... oh the price also have move up one one notch too.There is a Satay An(Satay is skewed & grilled meat) stall that has moved from the previous location togather with restaurant there to the currentocarion. The Satay still as good as before.

Hai Thien is superb as always. My most favorite Chinese restaurant. Must try butter prawn and salted egg mantis prawn. Satay also very nice (in house stall).

Ordered 7 dishes not over rm 200. Should try the siam style steam fish and the salted egg mantis prawn .Friendly servers.

The entrance is around to the left from the road which is not at all obvious. Food was good but staff speaks almost no english. I am not fussy with food and enjoyed what was served. This is probably the nicest restaurant near the ferry terminal.

This is the Only place in Perlis to get good seafood (and good food generally). I can recommend the oyster egg, butter prawns, scallop with mushroom and broccoli, crab and their best dish : kensom fish. Waiters are sharp, alert and attentive. The boss is an easygoing person with a ready smile. It is Always Crowded, so either come early or try to make a reservation. Its usually a little warm, though thats cos of the weather in Perlis. Ambience 3.21 stars, Service 4.15 stars, Food 4.39 stars.

The best seafood Ive ever tried.Its delicious and cheap. Best seafood restaurant since I was a kid, the taste might be slightly change after the previous chef died, but its still the best seafood you can get here in the north.

I came to Perils for two days, and I came here for dinner for both days. Its a popular seafood place in Perlis, and clearly the food lives up to its huge popularity. Highly recommended place to enjoy scene, sight and taste of Perils seafood delicacies. I forgot to mention, it has an awesome seaside sunset view.

Food is just average. We ordered food for 12 adults and 13 children. They arrange 3 round tables joined together. End up with 8seats at table 1, 4 seats at table 2 and 8 seats at table 3. 5 adults without seats. We have to rearrange the 3 tables to seat all. Prices are above normal. Could be due to school holiday season and this place is the only one serving halal Chinese food. In summary, will avoid this place if it wasnt due to request from those who have not eaten at this place.
