Hands down among the best Indian cuisine in KL. The Sagar special mutton is awesome.

Good food calm and relaxing atmosphere while you enjoying the food.

Fish tikka was fresh and delicious. Naan tasted great as well though be warned the mixed naan basket is enough to feed four! Found the seekh kebab masala and paneer taka tak (which was the special) quite unmemorable.

Loved the food!! Service was great too! Would recommend them to put less oil in their curry next time as they were all oily (as seen by excess oil on the surface). In general, great good and worth the visit!

Really delicious food here, ordered the Hyderabad biryani and it was great. It was also a large portion. Butter naan was nice too. Service was friendly. Went on a Tuesday evening in RMCO, place was almost empty.

I went for lunch buffet (rm 35) that includes unlimited naan/chapati , rice, dal, tandoori Chicken, mix veg, shahi paneer, brinjal curry and sweet (semiyaan). The taste and service was very good and recommended for North Indian food lovers.

Great food, traditional Indian restaurant with huge selection of dishes. The staff were exceptional, they did not hover over you but were always watchful to ensure you had everything you needed wanted. It was nice to enjoy a place that was not catering to tourists but was authentic.

This was our first trip to Sagar restaurant and must say this is by far the best north Indian taste we have found across Malaysia.There are some minor modifications needed on quantity of food given for some items, and in style of presentation, but overall a must visit. Great food.

Pros:1. Very tasty and nicely prepared food2. Ambiance is made on the old palace theme. Very beautiful and comfy3. Service is very fast and polite staff4. Per dish amount can be shared by two people for all curries. Rice items amount is for one person. Please order accordingly5. They serve a small basket of two types of Pampads and one green chutney and one tamarind chutney to go with this. One is fried and the other type is roasted. This adds to their service.Special note: This is a fine dining. So the cost is a bit on higher side. And you get the worth os every penny.

North Indian cuisine. Food was ok. Had lunch buffet style. RM77/ head. Toilet is dry but door needs repair. Restaurant environment is cosy and well furnished.

Delicious food. I came for the lunch buffet (RM45) and every dish was tasty. Just thought some dishes were a little on the salty side but after eating with naan it is alright. Will definitely come again!

Visited on family trip.The restaurant is very good in its ambiance, service, interior and taste.The interior is design like typical Indian restraunt.The owner and staff is soft and polite.The taste is good enjoyed the food very much as its very difficult to have the Indian taste outside India.The karoke is organised by restaurant which give good feel people was enjoying and singing the songs.Overall a very good experience.

Food is nice but too expensive.... never expext 1 cheese naan RM14, 1 capathi RM4, 1 chicken makanwal RM32, n last 1 Tandoori tikka RM26. Total RM 80.55 for per person.

Delicious food but a bit too unnecessarily pricey, not sure why.Enjoyed the food, but got my first stomach ache of 2020 after eating here So gonna go with 3 stars.I had mix veg briyani and raita, which caused stomach issue.

The butter naan, keema mutter, butter chicken, raita and plain briyani are pretty good. I love the service here as well.I find the prices a little steep for me but they’ve not compromised on quality so it’s still alright.

Buffet not encouraged. The taste was not that great. Very expensive when compare to the food quality. Time was restricted until 3pm. Bad experience.

Actlly the food is pricy bt nice especially hydrapad briyani. This is second time came here for dinner. We feel the restaurant should take more care in cleaning. Otherwise everything okay.

Superb indian food .. one of the best in KL.. just the decor abit too old fashion . a new modern look will sure make this place a talk of the town .portion wise can reduce for 2 pax customers. So we can order more items instead. absolutely love the food here. must try is their Naan bread. Other place naan is heavy but this shop is light and have the pizza texture. Wow! A good place to meet up with friends. A very good ambience to create the atmosphere for the night. Food was fabulous with variety to choose from. It is a northern indian restaurant so it very helpful to read the descriptions of ingredients given in the menu card. The waiters were very helpful in ordering the dishes to favour our taste.

I must say food is really good here. North Indian and vegetarian. They have buffet for like 30MYR but we ordered from Menu and cost is reasonable for the portion and taste they offer. We had Pindi chana and taste was genuine. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone.

Food and ambience good. Parking a bit difficult. The starters were delicious. What put us off was the glasses that were dirty n the fact that the tablecloths were not changed but wiped after the diners left. And after that fresh cutlery were placed directly on the wiped tablecloth....and this was done in full view of us who were still there...cleanliness is therefore a no starrer!

Ambience was very appealing and pleasant as was the presentation of the food. However, the same cannot be said about the food itself. Definitely did not meet expectations and was a disappointment. Personally we felt that it was very spicy and the food did not retain its flavor as a result. Certainly not worth the money we paid for it. The service however was good. Seems as if everything except the food was ok.

Easy to reach, parking is small pay attention, might need to park on road sides. The Ambience is nice, they have tried to give it a Rajasthani Royal touch. Acceptable serving time looking at the fact that its crowded mostly. The food is very good, served nicely. Quality is 4 star, quantity is on lesser side. Clean washrooms, not wheelchair accessible. On the other side of the coin, the owners or managers at the payment counter failed to make a connection with the customer, no greetings no smiles even reluctant to reply, seemed to be we dont care attitude, we have lot of customers. Waitors were well behaved, polite and professional. Except the one point above 4 star performance.should try.

Nice place with good ambience and tasty dishes. Buffet lunch price of rm45 is abit pricey though. Considering there was no drinks included( we had to order drinks separately), and the number of dishes could have been more for that price. Otherwise the dishes taste was good, staff was polite and accomodating.

Feast like a king. My place to go for best North Indian cuisine buffet. Tandoori is the best so far compared to 50 something outlets that serve them. Very cosy Rajasthan like decor, friendly and attentive staff. Parking can be difficult.
