The Radio Ground or the Town Square at Krishnarajanagara is very spacious and is used as a vegetable market in the morning and as a parking lot in the evening. Many exhibitions, meetings and fairs are conducted here from time to time. This public space is provided with park benches and shaded trees on the peripheries. The ground is flanked by Bazar Road and the C.M. Road on the northern and southern side. The western side has the downtown area with the KSRTC bus station followed by the Mysore-Hassan main road. There is one spacious Sanyasi Park on the eastern side which is surrounded by six temples. The park has trees which are older than 75 years.
