Mainly gold melting and polishing done here as the back office job of important jewellery shops around the place. A lot of Marathi people work here. A few other shops and offices are there too. Among them stalls of Ananda Publishers and DTDC Courier Service are noteworthy. Above the two-storied market, there is a residential complex. The whole building remains half finished for years together. The Complex is not yet painted on outside.
