Sellere is the Provincial Houuse of a congregation. A very serene place with lot of land and buildings. Many nuns stay here and it is there formation house too. They have a chapel here where holy mass is celebrated. This being a convent it is not a place for public.What is noteworthy is the Mayo Home attached to the Sellere convent. This is a home for senior ladies uncared for by own folks. About 25 senior mothers are happily living here. There are no posh facilities but all of them live happily in a prayerful atmosphere, well cared by the nuns. Inmates are admitted without consideration of caste or creed. Many service organisations support them with food, medicines and other supplies. A. Rey noble cause.
