A different place with the ambience, food and the set up. They literally make everything out of Charcoal or with Charcoal. The dishes are good but not so tasty like the usual ones. The Charcoal Ice-cream is pretty good and stand out. Its a quiet place and you can easy get your gang here to try the varied dishes in the menu. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Some dishes were good. Peri peri chicken was really good. Burgers were not up to the mark.. Smoothie was good.. You feel more congested on ground floor.. Serving was not that good. Of course parking is a problem..

Quite place, with just 3tables. Orders take a while to get delivered. Charcoal shake and charcoal lemonade are their trademark drinks in black colour. Shake is really tasty, lemonade taste likes syrup. Periperi chicken is good and spicy, kuboos wasnt soft. Also had fried chicken burger which wasnt good. Worth a visit to check out their signature dishes and drinks.

The ice-cream taste like vanilla from an alternate dimension. Its a charcoal cafe...many dishes are there like charcoal burger,charcoal drinks,fried chicken,charcoal pasta,.etc..the items which i prefer most are humoos shawarma and peri peri fries.egyptian falafel,peri peri chicken and burgers are also good..some drinks like charkoal lemonade and smoothie are good...too much waiting time is the issue which i had noticed...

Hands down the best Shawarma since Ive come to India! They got about all of it right! Its a real delight to have and is the very familiar shawarma we have grown fond of. If youre looking for authentic Arab shawarmas, this is the place to go. Smoked flavour on the chicken since its charcoal grilled adds to the overall taste. Leaves and French fries! If Im going to be real picky, I could complain about the somewhat hard kubboos (pita bread) but the texture and feel is great except for the slight brittleness. Also, additional unflavoured mayonnaise might give it an unparalleled edge.

Signature dishes are charcoal smoothie and charcoal burger.The smoothie tastes like that of musk melon.The burger is so yummy. When enquired about the black colour, they told they are using an imported natural material and it is not colour.The staff were so courteous.Many more items are on the menu.

The ambience is great, the food is no കരിഞ്ഞ food,😂, so go without fear, its great, a neutral colourless flavoring is used, which they say is imported from Germany,bring the powder and bake it and make bun, thats that colour,charcoal shawarma is highly reviewed but i couldnt try that,it was out of stock and also charcoal lemonade also went out of stocknow the charcoal burger,its ok, maybe the most mouth fitting burger u could ever eat, not that big or fussy, fits beautifully in the mouth, 5 to 6 bites and he is over, so its a small one, considering the size its price is a little high,anyway great

Good ambience, but little expensive. It have a really locatable address near the beach. Food here are okay but not soo awesome. Service and cleanliness is to the maximum we can have here in Calicut city,the interiors here are also good and exquisite with a more capacity to accommodate a number of people with one extra floor upstairs.

Its all in black :DGood service, ambient lighting, good food, not much of waiting. Close to the beach makes it an easy location. And there are only 2 cafes on Customs Road. Downstairs you only find place for a quick bite. And upstairs there are about 5 tables. If charred food is not your choice, then kindly chose elsewhere to dine!

Best and delicious Fried CHICKEN in town...Veg options are limited at Redkoal but for non-veggies it is paradise. However, there mocktails are also good and worth trying.

On the pricier side if you compare with quantity and taste. The shawarma is their USP and they make it the way it was intended. Lightly spiced and juicy. The fruit drinks are made out of syrup and you can distinctly make that out. Personally I dont like the bubble gum taste that accompanies it. Staff is courteous and eager for feedback. Available on swiggy too. Worth a try. Expect a full house during weekends. Parking is on the road side

This place has a very good decor and the ambiance is really nice. The music is good and the staff is really friendly. The food is ok and if u love the color black this is the place for you. Overall try the fried chicken , I had it and it was pretty good.

Nice ambience, Had excellent Shawarma from Redkoal with reasonable price. Have ample car parking space since the restaurant is walkable distance from Calicut Beach.Will definitely recommend this restaurant. Please check out if you are a shawarma fan.

Though the food looks good, their taste department needs some definite improvement. The tangdi kebabs didn’t taste good at all and their Tandoor roti had only a dip as an accompaniment. The black ice cream and black pasta were notably absent from their kitchen even though it was prominently displayed on their signs. Overall a disappointment

Worst worst low quality food...blahh..ordered fried chicken(broasted) 12 pieces.it was mixed of 6 pieces of expired bad taste and 6 piece of ok.....never gonna order again...when sale and profit increases quality decrease..this is pakkkaa true...not to hurt anyone...(oru maathiri mattedthe chicken aayi poyi)

Really a great go to stop if you are craving for a bite of shawarma(the hummus one isn’t any great from the ordinary) also their charcoal ice cream is a must try.Quite difficult to find you have to look for it(atleast that was my case) and their designated parking space is close to none but that wont be an issue there is ample space for you to park on the road side without inhabitting traffic move ment

Apart from charcoal(black foods) it also has a wide choice of kebabs,fried chicken,burgers and drinks...each of them better than the other in their own ways...The kick drinks are imported and amazing...

Location and Ambience gave a lot of expectations,but the food really was a disappointment.The standout Redkoal burger is actually the worst part of it as the patty was really very much like a cooking experiment at home.Kunafa was comparatively good but the price outstands the taste and quality.Can make the fooding experience better as its the basic.
