Lousy old tired place without enough good services which a hotel should offer. No airy and sell lighted place, seems very much dull place. Not for professionals. Jai Hindu sthan. Kamal shah. Amdavad.

Average. Dont expect much. Rooms are clean, but stale. Probably because of Covid. Dont get the breakfast offer. There is no buffet and what is served is not worth it.

One of the finest hotels in Kozhikode (ex. Calicut).Its very close to bus stand and still very silent peaceful and elegant place.The hotel has a huge parking space inside the compound where you can also go for a walk in the evening leisurely.The rooms are big and well furnished, getting such big well maintained rooms for such a good competitive price is unbelievable.The staff are also very courteous and friendly.The feather touch electrical switch panels adds more features to the rooms.Breakfast is served in the room and the same is of good taste and quality.The breakfast timings start from 08:00AM, which can be changed to 07:00 AM so that we can plan our day better and start early to work.The room service also can be improved a bit with quicker response, otherwise all fine.

Visited there for a wedding , was neat clean and pretty decent facilities. Good toilets and facilities to pray, the staff was friendly.

Hotel is trying to imitate five star hotels. There is no fan in the room and AC thermostat is not available. Only thing you can control is speed of AC that is insufficient as at full speed, your room is still hot.

Hyson heritage is a very old hotel in Calicut located in Mavoor road junction right next to Kurishu Palli. It is a good business hotel with easy access to KSRTC stand, Moffusil bus stand and the railway station also is not that far away. They have ample parking space available behind the hotel. Rooms are spacious but needs some redesign. Non veg food is good here. There are halls where events can be conducted. Rates are a bit on the higher side but the location is in the heart of the city.

Hotel Cafeteria is costly and food is ok only... Paragon restaurent is walkable within 5 mins...

At the beginning they were good in hospitality and nowadays I dont feel like booking this hotel. The restaurant and the room service are not so promising. I hope at least one day they will get a good chef.

Took 90 mins to serve cold, stale food. Disappointed with the service.

The food here used to be good. But now its standards have gone down. There was an issue with most of the dishes that were served on the buffet. The soup needed more salt. Salads didnt have any flavours to it. The Dry Gobi Manchurian was good. Tawa fish fry was about average. Ive had way better Tawa fish fries. Butter chicken was sub standard. There was some masala that over powered and ruined the entire dish. Paneer butter masala was just average. Stay away from the fried potato dish. Beef Manchurian was the best among the other dishes. Coming to the desserts. Everything in the section was a disaster. Dont even bother taking the eggless cake. It was super hard and taster bitter. Carmel custard wasnt that great. Shahi Tukda was too sweet but that was the better one among the desserts. Im still wondering how they made fruit salad taste so bad.🤔 I wouldnt recommend the buffet here.

Decent hotel in the heart of the city. I have booked via Make my trip last time and it was my second stay. The room which they provided was good but the bathroom have to be maintained well and air conditioner was old and it was making noises. The WiFi was very slow and even after complaining I have received feedback from front office We dont know Sir Their buffets are good. Check the pricing are affordable. We have good hotels like Top form, Hotel Sagar nearby and bus stand also very nearby.

Great venue for conferences and small functions

My first impression is that hotel is more beautiful than it looks in the picture. The quality of infrastructure and designing is quite modern yet with minimal touch of Kerala.Its location is very nice in case you opt for shopping outside. Most importantly, the service quality is very good. Staff is humble and sober.The only issue was that the coffee kit was not found clean inside my room. Otherwise, it is value for money. Goibibo have decent discount that was more than shown by any similar website. I look forward to visiting this place again.

This hotel is located in the heart of the city. It had good rooms.. They have arestaurant and coffee shop. Restaurant provide buffet..Previously really used to like their buffet dinner.. They had wide spread of dishes.. But recently when i went the number of dishes decreased and only few deserts were available,not worth the price.

Pathetic service! The staff are least courteous. Extra bed takes an hour to reach the room, inspite of multiple calls to the Reception. The buffet breakfast is very limited. Quality of served food is average. The beds are very bad. They make screaming noises and are the least comfortable of where ever we have stayed. The whole hotel has stale smell all over, in the corridors, room, stairs, elevator and even in the restaurant. They seem to forgotten the fact that the can smile atleast occasionally. Almost everyone has a stern and serious face.The restaurant staffs need to be shuffled big time. Captain of the Restaurant Ajith, was very irresponsible in answering our queries and has a very ignorant attitude. We tried to complain to the reception but they are least concerned. I wrote a feedback letter and tried to drop into the suggestion box. But guess what, the suggestion box is full already and my letter wont drop inside. Think they dont even take their time to read these feedbacks. No one tried to rectify their mistakes. Finally the manager Praveen tried to rectify few of the mistakes. But it took so many unpleasant incidents for the manager to show up. You guys need to improve asap.Kindly avoid this hotel if you are travelling as a group and if u want to avoid embarrassments!

The Mavoor road begins from a T-shaped junction near 4-in-Bazar and the ship shaped shopping complex. You have a fine restaurant here called the Cocoa Nut attached Hyson Heritage hotel. They charge Rs.160 for Kerala style vegetarian lunch. If that is expensive for you, another restaurant called Indian Coffee House on Mavoor road offers good ambiance at Rs.50. When you move east on the Mavoor road, the first landmarks are National Hospital, Hotel Sagar, Dakshin Restaurant, Ruchi Restaurant, Cosmopolitan building, KSRTC bus station and the shopping complex attached to it.

I have been coming to Hyson for years .It is always neat and clean. The staff is excellent. The food is great.I feel I am visiting my home.

It is a good hotel situated at heart of Calicut city.The rooms with AC, TV, and WiFi were pretty clean and spacious.Bathroom was large and clean with 24 hr hot water. Staff were helpful.Walkable distance from KSRTC bus terminal and New Bus Station. Railway station and Beach is one km away

Postive points:Good location.Break fast is good.Good restaurants near by, if you want to tryout options outside menu from this Hotel.Not very far from Railway station or Bus stand. (But you can get better options near these transport hubs).Negatives:Old rooms.Confusing switches.Room as well as bathroom smells very bad.

We stayed here recently for a couple of days and enjoyed our stay. Spacious rooms and good service were the highlights.What we liked?- Located in a central part of the city; with easy access to most areas.- Good complimentary breakfast is part of the deal.- Ample parking behind the hotel.What could be better?- The access to the hotel is through a narrow passage / narrow road, so bigger vehicles or new drivers may find it a hassle.- Better directions to guests who are not using a GPS. Since the place is on a one way street, access is through a circuitous route.My take: A value for money hotel for business travelers not looking for too many luxury features.

Excellent place to stay for Official and for family fun. Breakfast spreads is good and the food is delicious. Near to railway station. The housekeeping and the room service staff are humble and kind. Overall a lovely place to stay and value for money.

Hyson heritage is an hotel cum restaurant situated in calicut city. It is a good place for conduct social and cultural events. It is very attractive in night time due to those fantastic light effects and also it is easily noticeable in the night time for the new peoples. It was good experience staying at Hyson. Location is great and room quality is also good. Hot water availability is limited I think, not 24 hours, night after 9PM and morning before 6AM, hot water was not available. Reception is responsive for the enquiries. Room served food price is on higher side (I have not ordered, but from the price list). They have restaurant and coffee shop.

Truly amazing hospitality.. I felt like it as my another home and the hotel team have taken care of us like King & Queen... It was a short stay of two nights but i would like to recommend to anyone traveling to Calicut for the value for money and the quality of food.. It was indeed great help from the Operations Manager of the hotel to get my room upgraded with a higher category which made my family visit more memorable.. A good hotel to stay in Calicut. Little problem is with room service. AC not working properly, ordered for biryani @ 9.30 pm but it was over, asked for ice cubes @ 9 pm but it was over too. Even after that, what we ordered for dinner was very good. Over all its a good place to stay at decent price. Plz improve on AC cooling and get it repaired.The complimentary BF was served well with varieties and local taste of Kerala was well taken into consideration.

Hyson heritage is normal hotel where people can stay who are in business trips in town. I paid approx 2200 INR for one night in which breakfast was included. Room was decent and clean, bathroom was clean and had all accessories fitted, toiletries also given. Breakfast was just okay and it was not properly hot (hotel in southern India, you expect fresh and steam idli but it was not steamed). I would not recommend for family stay as it doesnt give that feel for relaxing though hotel is only 1.5 km from beach and I went to beach by walk in morning. As name suggests Hyson Heritage, but there is no heritage feeling. Experience was reception was good for timely check in and checked out. If you are going with family and your expectations is to only stay for night and rest all your time is booked for city tour then this place can be tried else children will get bored for sure. Thats all I can say on this.
