Why I give 4 star because of rate...When you compare rate it will be 1 star.Apart from that Ojin Bakes stands apart from the rich presence of Bakeries in Kozhikode is undoubtedly its unique and tasty bakery products. Their quality is excellent and the aroma is inviting. We get a variety of bakery items from here though the price may be on the higher side. They are consistent with their quality.

Very bad experiance about the pricing. Compared to other bakeries around everything has high price tag. The quality and taste cant beat Reagal & Grand bakes.

This is a great place to have food. So far I am totally satisfied with their service. One day I along with my friend visited there to have shawarma. An old man was collecting orders from our table, to be honest he treated us like his own children.

The name Ojin Foods is confusing. In Arabic the meaning ojin is food. This is one of the chain bakeries throughout Kozhikode in the name of Ojin Foods and Opus. Most of the bakery items made from their own kitchen. The Malabar snacks are not up to the standard in taste. But a variety of special items are available. Nadakkav branch has a hotel and parcel centre attached to it. Compared to other bakeries around everything including bread has high price tag. A vegetable Samosa which costs 7 to 8 rupees elsewhere costs 12 rupees here. Showerma which costs 60 rupees costs 80 rupees at Ojin. All Halva varieties costs higher here.

The food offered in the restaurant is quiet delicious, the bakery is fine, specially the cakes, not super good, but not bad, tastes fine.

Really good food and price is also reasonable . The place has good ambience and the falooda is really nice special falooda is what we had was good . overall experience is good but service quality can be improved to make this better.

This restaurant serves excellent South Indian Vegetarian dishes. We took food here for three days and tasted most of the items. All of them are beyond our expectations. Especially meals served only at noon time is very good.It is not costly for that quality and taste. Coffee is superb. We love their hospitality and humbleness.

Very bad behavior of staff .Firstly you have to understand customers are not coming to buy any food for free of cost. Ojin bakes staff dont know how to treat customer and When I asked eggless cake,they told me that not available today and it will be available only tomorrow . But when I ordered through POTAFO after 10 minutes I got it in my home from same bakery nadakkavu. So how is it possible?

Good place to have a light grab. responsible people. reasonably priced.I had written the above review 5 years ago and I have to change my opinion after an incident at the same place yesterday (2nd August). I used to visit this place at least once or twice every month to grab some snacks. I did the same on Saturday (31st July) and among the lot, I had picked two ghee cakes (which was reasonably good most of the time) priced at rupees 185. The expiry date on the packet was 2nd August for both. We consumed one over Saturday and Sunday. When we opened the second one on Monday morning (on the date of expiry), it was totally rotten with fungus. I took that cake to Ojin on the same evening and thought that would be an easy exchange as obviously the cake should be edible up to the expiry date. But instead I had to go into heated arguments with the staff for almost half an hour to get this replace. Their argument was, I should have pointed this out on when I purchased it on Saturday such a pathetic argument, how will I know it is going to get rotten before expiry when I purchased it or even if so I how can I open the packets and examine everything before leaving the shop? what do they expect from the customer.So, when you go there next time, examine all the packets ;) the moment it is out of the shop, they are not going to accept it back, they dont care about expiry, it is all your fault.For the information of Ojin Management:An expiration date or expiry date is a previously determined date after which something should no longer be used, either by operation of law or by exceeding the anticipated shelf life for perishable goodsIf you want to discuss more, put your number.

First time I ordered from their Live Kitchen. I ordered for Chicken fried rice and what I got was the WORST CHICKEN FRIED RICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN LIFE. It was extremely pathetic. The quality of the fried rice was so bad that I finally threw it.
