Average bakery in Calicut. Restaurant also on top floor. Not a good and ambient place for in house dining. Take away seems a better idea. I have had a milk shake also, but didnt liked it. Their other options are ok.

For me i prefer this Bakery near to medical college.For evening snacks they have good items.Not very variety like those may be avialable in Ojin Bakes or Cochin BakeryBut its fine with items over here.All items taste well.Though Bengali Samosa was nowhere near to northern Flavour, still fine.Rest All bakery avialable, Prices are also well.Parking space is fine for 2 or 3 cars.I do recommend

Must try for snacks and other items.They had dine-in before,but stopped recently due to covid restrictions.Their Cutlet is a must try,especially chicken.

Am visiting the shop since 1997.This year, for the first time, due to Covid,Visited the shop on Monday.Vegetarian snacks, purchased, was fresh, good and tasty.But the Biscuits, out of the two I purchased, one was more than one week old. At the time of purchase (Monday) he assured me, the stuff is of Saturday.. But he lied and its not at all edible with fungus.

Very bad customer service by the old man sitting in cash counter. Today I went there to order a cake for my sons birthday. But he was super duper arrogant and said he is busy and was showing angry expressions, sighing and I was standing idle for a while for his mercy like in a government office. After a while, I just left saying, I will try somewhere else.These guys have no idea on the enormous number of cake and bakery shop options around us and friendly ones.I had similar experience from here many times before as well, but I gave excuse to them over my trust.This was my bakery for the last 10-15 years but no more.Good luck with such attitude in this business

Once the icon of Kovoor, Newtops bakery still maintains its charm with wide range of bakery items and snacks. Restaurant in first floor is not functioning due to Covid limitations.

Bakery items are superior in taste & quality. Personalized service. Interior is comfortable to pickup items of ur choice.

The chicken noodles here is something I like. It has generous quantity of shredded chicken with the subtle and simple flavour profile.

Still stuck in 2000s. The onion vadas reeked of stale oil and achappams were tasteless.New Cochin Bakery in Chevayur is much better

Superb bakery this one! Their cakes are very good. You get a variety of food items branded New Tops itself plus other branded items. Theres a small rush in the evening, but thats expected considering their good food items and rush hour.

New tops bakery and restaurant was there before 10 to 15 years. Still they are maintaining the quality of the food items as they are before. On the 1st floor restaurant is available. Their halwa is really good. Every snack and food items are prepared in their own kitchen.Overall this bakery is fantastic.

Good delicious products

One of the oldest and, arguably the most famous bakery in the locality for decades. It used to be the most favourite haunt of generations of students from both Medical College and Devagiri College which are nearby. Very nostalgic from the student days at Devagiri. Having said that, Im not sure whether its the failure of my savory senses or the bakery losing its grip, but at least some of the used to be incredibly tasty items are just ordinary these days. Didnt have a chance to try the restaurant upstairs this time, though.Would have given 3 stars but giving 4 stars for the still lingering taste 35 years back!

Restaurant on 1st floor is below average, bad ambiance and low in hygiene. Bakery on ground floor is good. Restaurant owners need to work on maintaining hygiene n cleanliness.

Nice hotel and bakery. It is just a kilometre away from medical college. It is spacious and has good tea. The restaurant was the first in kovoor area. Porotta and chilly chicken is a good dine out option. Parking space is there but not so large. No wheel chair access as the entry is limited with steps.

The greatest dishes are served with simplicity.🍔🌯🌮🥪💕

One of the old bakeries.their family have few more outlets in Kozhikode.this place has a restaurant also upstairs.in addition to south indian sweets like halva laddu jangri mysore pak they have Bengali sweets soan papdi rasgula and peda.banana chips and other savouries also available here.afternoon they provide cutlets samoosa puffs rolls sandwiches both veg and non veg.restaurant starts late in the morning.it is a small place.they have a limited menu only.you get ghee roast ,masala dosa chapati ,porotta ,chilly chicken, ginger chicken pepper chicken, paneer and a mixed veg curry.they provide few fresh juices and shakes also.juices like orange musambi lime and shakes like chikku(sapota) sharjah(thick milk shake with plantain as main ingredient).Parking limited.

The bakery is just average but you have to taste their fish mango curry from the reataurent above. Its too good.. :-)

One of the finest and best bakeries in Calicut. Situated near the medical college, Calicut is one of the sought after place for snacks and bakeries. The Calicut halwa available here is soft and is a delicasy here. This is a favourite place for the students across and nearby. Medical/nursing/dental plus the Devagiri college students and near by school students also look this as thier their favourite hide outs.
