Horrible service!! The management here is surprisingly poor and inefficient!! Have your phone recording whenever you enquire about something with the staff members because theyll not honour it later on!So, Big Bazaar had an exchange scheme going on where you could bring in used cookware and be issued with a coupon worth not more than ₹200 for a specific item within the cookware section. This was the whole idea of the scheme.My parents were misinformed by one of the staff members earlier this week, telling them that theyd get ₹200 off on each cookware that they brought in. (Ex. If you bring in one item, youd get ₹200 off and if you brought in three, youd get ₹600 and so on) This was what one of the staff members had told them earlier this week.Finding this scheme worth, my elderly parents went through the trouble of carrying three old and heavy cookers using public transport, all the way to Big Bazaar, only to be told that it wasnt the case and theyd get only coupon per bill! They never honour their mistake! Please make sure you record whatever they tell you as theyll most probably change the whole story later on!!

Theyre adding insurance amount to your bill without even asking you. When asked, theyre saying you got a discount for an item in your bill, so we added it in the bill. Like how/why?Theyre adding things in the bill we didnt ask for. And who buys an insurance at a grocery store?The staff is very rude and I talked to the manager there, theyre worse.Theyre about to shut down soon. They deserved it!

One product they delivered was damaged one and another product was not odered product of me. I have purchased items from big bazar online 2days back.. Bill amount got deducted from futurepay.. Initially it was shown it will get delivered the same day by 7pm.. Lateron it showed next day 12pm..now it shows by 7pm today.. Dont know whether it will get delivered or i will lose money.. i have tried contacting customer care as well as in landline bigbazar calicut.. but no response. Very dissappointed. Big Bazaar was my one stop shopping destination for long time. But now they dont have much stock and you have to go to another supermarket to buy most of your shopping needs. Yesterday I went and they dont have soaps and hand wash of any brand to sell. Only one brand soap powder was available. Most of the grocery items were out of stock and last month also was like this. Infrastructure is good and have ample parking space.

Big bazar trip was good, found that the Calicut outlet has more items tgan the One in Palakkad.

This is my all time great shopping place.this place has got everything we need. Starting from the very basic to everything that can even decorate out house is available here. This place really holds a good position in their fruits and vegetables section. All the items were just fresh and it was well maintained. The only problem that I felt is that the escalator is available only to go up not for going down. It will be hard for people who are older to go by steps to down. Lift is there as options but if its a crowd day, it will take a lot of time

You will be able to buy most of the necessary items from here im rating only 3 stars because escalator was not working in ground floor,which shows negligence in maintainance.

Lots of consumer goods but lacks old glamour...Earlier if any goods was in lower price than bigbazaar they said they would refund the difference...Now pricy....Even cycles for children are exorbitantly priced...Similar branded cycles like hero costs much less....Now bigbazaars own brand koryo or similar isnt anywhere else...But similar products of market brands costs lesser...
