What a pity that the service does not accompany the high quality of the cooking. You can hardly get a smile out of the waitresses. Thankfully the owner and hostess, a middle-aged charming guy, is always around willing to exchange some kind words with all clients.

Superb structure,There is an optical there with the Name Vision Plus,which has superb people working,there who will give u a pleasant feeling,fantabulous spectacles collections,they also have a range of sunglasses which could make u look special.

Good air conditioning and decent service at this place, but sadly food is just about mediocre and not worth the cost.Don’t bother with the salads. Kebab dishes come with pita bread and hummus, but were not tender and moist like one would expect. Hummus was alright in terms of texture, although a good bit of olive oil and a sprinkling of spice is lacking.One can find limited car parking and a good amount of motorcycle parking on the premises.Perhaps best to skip this place if you’re in the city for a limited amount of time and are looking for a truly good meal.

I walk around 750mtrs from kozhikode new busstand to here only to have shawarma.But the taste was just okey.not too good not too bad.I had shawarma in Ac room maybe that is it cost 140+gst. In mahe i had it in 100 and which is taste way better than here.I orderd a cup of tea and it cost 20+gst. The tea was good.The ambiance was not that much great. I should say it is just average.Thank you.

I had the plate shawarma and the grape juice. The shawarma looked excellent and tasted great. The grape juice felt very fresh and the quality was up to the mark. Even though its 11.30pm now, they havent closed yet.What I didnt like in here was the mixed fried rice. M grill has a better tasting fried rice.

I stepped here 1st at 2010. Friend suggested me broasted chicken n fried rice. Have explored the menu. Many items r failure like tandoori chicken.... but they serve the Best broasted chicken and fried rice. No place can replace the broasted here.

Such a worst broast I have ever had in my life. No salt not any other taste rather than all purpose flour and raw chicken. I wont reccomend anyone to have food from here. And when I called them to report that they dont put pinch of salt their reply was I am leing to them. Please guys if anyone reading this review I request you to dont but their Broast chicken at any cost. They have just attitude nothing in food.

Had gotten 2 orders of sheesh tawook for 250 each and got only 4-5 very small boneless pieces of chicken each that didn’t have any flavour to it. The kerala poratta had little or no salt but butter naan was just ok. Garlic paste was very watery. Very disappointed because of high price they charged total. Few years ago the quality of the food was actually good but now it is so tasteless and overpriced.

The food is not that great...use to be a nice place when the name was Al Bake...I had mandi, beef biryani, chicken biryani, normal meals and soup. Except for the meals which is average the rest all is not so good in my opinion and the service was not that great (which could be due to the rush)

Previously known as AlBaik , the Arabic restaurant is the place to go for Arabic and malabar cuisine in calicut . I tried the chicken mandhi which had one of the best flavoured rice Ive ever tasted but disappointed me with the poorly made chicken . Nevertheless the shawarma of this place is the bomb 💣. It is genuinely the best shawarma I tried in calicut . Next time give this place a shot . You wont be disappointed . 🥰🥰
