This beautiful hill near by the ocean has many tombs (QABR) which is said to be of the companions of RASOOLULLAH(s).The main Tomb is to be said of sayyiduna Tameem-ul-answari, one of the main companions of Rasoolullah(s) who fought The battle of Badr.There are another 14 tombs which is also said as the tombs of sahaba who accompanied Tamim(R). Their names are unknown.I would recommend all brothers to visit this blessed place.

The historic Parappally Makham is located in Kollam-Kayilandy. From Kannur, get off at the stop (Kellam) before reaching Koyilandy and take the Pocket Road on the right (11K.M). The great Tamimul Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) who accompanied the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at Badr rests here. MONSOON WIND BLOWAn old run-down church and pond have lost their heritage as a result of renovations. It is said that his history was written on the wooden pillars inside the old church. Now we can see the rock behind the new big mosque where the footsteps of the great Prophet Adam (a) were placed. History has it that he descended Mount Adam in Sri Lanka and visited India. The footprint of a horse was found on a rock there.The mosque where Prophet Hilr (a) was worshiped and a small mosque can be seen on the sea shore. It is said that there is a grave of a jinn at the bottom of the rock on the sea shore.There is a perennial aulia well and a spring of aulia silver. If we go down the stairs behind Tamim (ra) maqam, we can see the mirab and the dwarf of the old ruined mosque. People go to see the silver stone in the boat (white rock in the middle of the sea - it has a lot of history to tell). On the way to Parappally we can see a church built during the time of Sahaba, Via PARAPPALLI MARKAZ.History is mentioned in the book Parappally Charithram.I have been there 6 times.Nature beautiful place, nice coolness, relief from sorrows, bad feeling of sea breeze.Find time to visit at least once.NATURE CAN ABLE TO SOLACE OUR PROPLEMS.
