Nice and cleanAs every Patel branches this too has very good isle arrangements of all the dry grocery. They have a fresh roti making section and happy to see that. But compared to other branches this store gave a very small size chapathies for their usual price. There are different types of parathas, chapathies, white and brown breads and also different pav ( indian bread). They have plenty of fresh produce. Freezers are filled with all kinds of frozen items.Interestingly they have good collection of steel and mud cooking ware stuff. And they have small, tiny vegetable and floral plants for sale. Many pooja related stuff and also different deities related items are also available.Parking is good enough but common parking for the shopping center.Would recommend to visit.
Small place, very hard to maintain social distance and do grocery, they dont carry all brands and lacks variety. The only good thing about the place is that the have fresh bread.
The produce and other foods are high quality but my impression is that they get a lot of business therefore they dont bother to treat customers fairly. There was no price label on the product. The price written on the SHELF ($8.40 for 7 oz) did not match with the weight 3.5 oz as written on the package. So I took 2 packages totalling 7 oź and I expected the Cashier to honor their price $8.4 but she refused it. So I didnt buy those 2 packages. Thats why I say they are not fair to the customers. I reminded her to make correction to the price label to avoid misunderstanding. I dont know if she will do it.
I think their customer service is poor. Be careful with items that are priced low you will be surprised how close the expiration date is. Another convenient tactic is not putting label on some items and price discovery at the counter.I do prefer this Indian grocery stores in the area just because of the wide variety of options with vegetables, snacks and spices. You will get everything you need for Indian cooking.
Amazing South Asian grocery store in New Jersey. Great place for sweets like gulab jamun, tropical fruits like mango and papaya, and rusk biscuits. All the customers were masked, so I felt relatively safe while shopping.
Great place.. plenty of parking.. just make sure the price whatever tagged is not the same...so double check the labeled price..😆.. Happy Shopping!!
Good store for Indian spices and produce. Prices are very reasonable.
An one stop convenient Indian grocery store. Keep check on their price tags, often increased.
Good Indian groceries, narrow aisles makes it difficult to walk around with the cart.
It is by far the best Indian Grocery shop. They have stock of almost anything that you can think of and the vegetables are very fresh! Great job in keeping the store super clean as well.
Awesome place to stop and grap your Indian grocery.
They make and package fresh roti and paranthas here 😊
Big and spacious for Indian Grocery. And people are there to help you always.
I usually shop here and usually vegetables are fine. Today i found out that one of the vegetable/herb full of SANDS. I complained to cash register lady and told her to tell your manager.
Many options.. good desi store
The Store is well stocked but We did not have a good experience with the fresh rotis, parathas that they sell. Even on a weekend the coriander parathas were not fresh and had mold the next day itself.A few weeks ago, we realized the wheat parathas too were stale! Very disappointed. Rather not sell than sell stale and bad food !
The best Patel brothers I’ve been to! Their bakery is amazing, especially the fresh sczewan samosas! They also have a huge veggies section and I even bought a carrom board there! Spacious, well organized, and lots of products.
A nice place for Desi stuff... Exciting catalogue of products.
The store is well organized. It has fresh vegetables, live and freshly made Indian snacks and rotis, sweets, and other products from India and some American products.Usually, they also have festival related items placed in the entrance as soon as you enter for limited time. The employees are helpful and know where everything is in the store. They also have a Patel Brothers Rewards card. I didnt know until I saw someone use it at the checkout line. Ask the employees if youre interested
Deceitful practices. Watch out for items marked 2 for $4 or 2 for $5 etc., They check out differently at the cash register. If you complain then they correct your purchase. What about the folks who dont pay attention ? Store clerks seem to know about this. Happened multiple times, appears to be a deliberate practice at this store.
Its a good place to shop indian dry groceries, Indian vegetable ,Indian desserts and Indian snacks. They have a live counter for Indian breads made from different flour. Only thing I dont prefer to buying from Patel brothers is fruits they are not that good.
Very good selection of Indian groceries and few ready to eat goodies too. I especially like the frozen section of this store. It has wide range of products
Peaceful, and clean, a safe place for kids also to play.
Good but some vegetables looks not fresh also price is high too
Vegetables are very fresh and reasonably priced. Fruits could be more varied
Best Indian grocery store near Edison....If you want something Indian in terms of grocery, definitely recommended
Good place to shop Indian groceries. Ample parking.
A perfect place to get Indian grocery. They have fresh vegetables , fruits and tonne of dry snacks. They also make fresh roti and parathas and sell in bunch of 10 or 25.
Nicely priced fruits and vegetables. Good quality.
Always carry quality local products. The attendance staff were very friendly, professional and very helpful. They have best bet selection at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Rotis are the best here compared to other indian Grocery stores. Vegetables are also much fresh compared to other stores. Their Swad brand is much economical compared to other InStore brands.
Its bit smaller but its the best one stop shop for indian groceries. They have added other brands for milk as well that helps you. The veggies are always fresh and shelves are stocked. Staff is helpful in finding items if you need them. I also found clay utensils for setting up curd and bhakhri/rotla.
One location for all Indian spices and groceries.
All in one place.
Kind of ok as compared to other Patel Brother stores, there is a slight difference on the price and the farm produce are not that fresh always. Unfortunately there is not kitchen in this store, meaning you would not get Roti or any other hot snacks like samosa, vada pav and etc., When there is no other option near by, this store will serve the purpose at large.
The 99 cent samosas are delicious, I recommend the paneer Tika samosas
Nice Indian Grocery store.
Patidar is much better. I come here on my lunch break to get items once in a while but they are so so cheap, they only have 1 register open and there is always a ridiculous line. I always end up leaving and going to Patidar not too far away. They have a full staff. Dont understand why a big chain cant be better at logistics at this point.
Great grocery shopping place. They carry a wide variety of products geared towards the communities from the Indian subcontinent.
Roti station produces fresh rotis but quality is pathetic. Samosas with soggy cover and Dabeli with stale smelly peanuts. Items are kept warm but not worth the money. Pathetic and overly priced.
Good prices, + service
Always get fresh vegetables
The samosas here are very tasty 😋
A good stores for Indian groceries and vegetables besides snacks and ready to eat items
Vegetables were fresh most of the time Ive been there
I am never going to visit this Patel for sure. Beware of the prices , they charge so much extra as compared to other Patel Brothers and don’t even have half of the products. I would give 0 stars if Google gives me that option.
Best place to get Indian stuff in NJ
Good selection of vegetables, but prices have increased a little bit from before
Had indian brands from north to south
Clean and Big
Carts were all over the parking lot blocking cars to block. Store didnt even care to organize the cart. Very crowded, no social distancing maintained inside the store. With Covid, they hiked the price of groceries too.
Watch out for the price you are charged and the price tagged on the product. I had multiple experience of getting charged more than the tagged price. I was there this week and purchased a bag of lentils which was tagged $4.49. After unloading my groceries in the car, I checked my receipt and discovered that they charged $4.99 for that bag of lentils. I went back to the store and complained, they gave me a mango juice to compensate.
Very expensive and always congested.
Do not order online. They ship rotten produce and fail to honor refunds. Unless you are desperate and willing to take inferior fresh produce you can go for it.Stay away.. stay safe..
Fresh produce and good shopping environment
The most popular Indian & farmers market in the area. Prices are reasonable. Fresh fruits and vegetables. They also now have fresh made naans and breads (roti)
Please dont pin hole the Kurkure packs it ruins the Texture and ALSO ruins every bite I take as individual. I know you guys try to save space as much as possible, but saving space REALLY ruins the Quality. PLEASE AND THANK YOU. REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
Very good place. Staff is very good and vegetables are always fresh. Items are arranged properly for easy search. Parking is enough and location is very convenient. Store looks even better after the renovation. Highly recommend other for this store.
Worst service. Horrible and rude staff. Delivered all spoilt and rotten vegetables and fruits when ordered online for curbside pick up. And doesn’t honor refund. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Taking advantage of current situation.
A great local farmers market. Has everything you need!
Inside workers are no good 😌 the tall black Indian guy he have no respect for customers he have no talking sense👎👎👎👎👎👎
I love this place to buy indian groceries. Very clean place, helping natured staff, fresh items!
Best Indian groceries in the area
Worst customer service. In curbside pick up gave all spoilt and over riped vegetable. When complained to store the person who spoke was so rude and hostile. Wouldn’t buy from them ever again. Wouldn’t recommend. Taking advantage of this situation and providing spoilt stuffs.
Very good nice shop and for fresh vegetables I prefer this one
Great place for Indian groceries and produce
Although mostly all Patel brothers branches are good. This one isn’t an exception. I like to go here once a week for my weekly household needAnd since I’m from India, i can find all Indian grocery, snacks and veggies here at one location which is a big plusRecently they started fresh cooking facility which adds bonus pointOverall I recommend this specific location
Nice place to shop. Fair prices. The only reason I have four is because they sold us sugar cane juice that tasted nothing but water. It was obvious that they canes were thrown in the water for a long time. Other than that no complain. Everything is good.
This place is a nightmare for social distancing. Stay away from it. This is not the same Patels as it was last year. I asked an employee on the floor Is this store not practicing social distancing they were starring at me as if they never heard that phrase. Not even worth a star :-(
Good place for Indian Groceries & breads/Rotis
Very bad experience here staff are very bad and non nobody have manners of talking the taller old guy have no sense to talk every body have his own attitude
Will never go to this store ever again. Don’t even want to talk about it.
One stop shop for all indian foods. Prices are also good. Its a large place for ethnicity food. You have fresh vegetables, snacks, frozen food section and kitchen. Although I have never tried food from the kitchen it did smell good.
Have been going to this place from last 6 years . Whatever you need, you will find here . Sometime you will see something they have , which you were not expecting.Quality of the product is consistent. All employees are friendly. Good thing about this store is that they are never out of stock for anything. Starting from vegetable, frozen items , groceries , household items , etc.. , they have everything that you need on the daily basis. They have good seasonal offers . They recently upgraded the store and it’s looks much convenient.
Good place buy grocery
One of the best organized grocery stores, very easy to find stuff.
Great selection of produce and normal groceries that are high quality. You get what you pay for.
Dmart in USA
Large store will ample space to maintain social distancing
Great place for Indian groceries
Great place to shop. In addition to the top quality products they carry the management and workers are very courteous and honest. On one of my visit to the store I unknowingly dropped a bill on the floor while checking out at the cashier. On my next visit I had the pleasant surprise of being informed by one of the managers that one of his cashiers had noticed the bill on the floor after I left and turned it over to him. The manager then took the time to check the store security monitor to determine who had dropped the bill...Now thats what I call great customer service. Thanks guys, very comforting to know that such honest people are still around.
Nice and clean Indian grocerys. Reasonable prices. Vegetables are very fresh so do all other Indian snacks etc.
They got everything you will need. The service is good and the place is really clean whenever I visit to buy groceries.
Great selection and very good prices...
Great place to get a variety of Indian Groceries. They are often out of stock for the hot items, perhaps better planning might help keep items in stock.
All Indian products available under one roof
Fresh vegetables and Reasonable prices...love their snack section and fresh roti sections. we always buy curry leaves in quarter pounds and it is so reasonable price.
Indian grocery store with large selection of fresh and frozen veggies and other foods. Just be careful merging into Rt-27 traffic.
Fresh vegetables & nice Indian food
Good choice of grocery items. Clean store. Good pricing. Fresh produce..
We go there for curb side pickup. They handle curb side pickup well.
All required grocery for home with best quality assurance
Neat and busy Indian store
Excellent variety of Indian groceries and vegetables
