Scrumptious food delivered on a hot sunny day was like finding an oasis in the dessert. Though amidst the pandemic,Third place was open ;with appropriate safety measures apt for the current situation.The ambience is very welcoming and charming.This cosy cafe has left the best impressions.Its hospitable hosts and delicious dishes are commendable.Its a little expensive but worth it.Highly recommended.Would like to come here again

Being a coffee lover, I try coffee from different cafes across the state. Third place does not list coffee on their online menu @tpcafeonline.com, and I was a bit reluctant to visit. I am now happy that I decided to try them out as they had the best coffee ( I tried Americano) in town and the Snickers semi-freddo pastry is the best cake Ive tasted in the state so far.The ambience is soothing, Id love to visit the place again. Nice arrangements except for the stuff behind the counter.The low calorie ads are appealing , but you never know if thats true. However, Ive not seen any cafe or restaurant in town list low calories as an attraction and I am impressed that Third Place does that.I had a slight turn off as the staff were not very professional or courteous in approach but on a positive note, the man at the counter was knowledgeable about coffee.

Third Place is a Spot specialized in Desserts Gelato SemiFreddos Sandwiches Burgers and so .. My personal favourites are SemiFreddos and Gelato 😘❤️Love the Ambience so much ..very peaceful ..

Their Italian delicacies are usually thr best.We tried the apple pie semifreddo and it was super delicious. The peach ice tea and passion fruit shake was super good too.However their veg grilled sandwich was below average. It was soggy with a brown sace oozing out of it. Tastewise it was good but the consistency and overall appeal was bad.But 4 star for the semifreddo and customer service.Also they dont have a washroom.

A perfect to go hangout place in Kottayam🤩 This place is located within the heart of kottayam and is a one of a kind experience for those people whod wanna spend quality time trying out some interesting delicacies. The place is located well off from the mainstream crowd of kottayam and hence is quite hard to spot at first glance. Their menu covers a wide array of mouthwatering and bud invoking stuff like waffles, coffee, sandwiches, fries, gelato ice cream, cakes, name it and you have it all. The menu is fairly priced and after being acknowledged about the same through verbal convos with acquaintances, I had decided to give this place a visit and man o man did it not disappoint. I had tried out their gelato ice cream. The staff is very friendly and they indeed pamper you with their hospitality. The guy out there offered me almost all of their flavours and made apt suggestions to resolve my confusion in picking a dish. There are some interesting flavours to try out which are first of its kind in my observation around kottayam. It was certainly a bang for a buck scenario and an afternoon well spent to spend a lazy day with some tempting ice cream. This place has ample parking space and seating for ample amount of people. This has indeed won my heart and is a sure no brainer for my dessert hence forth. Will definitely come back to this place.

Lovely placeto get too deep into the flovour and its ambience. The way they have put up the place is amazingly great. Third place could be one of the best place Ive ever had ice creams cause the flavours could just put you high😅...... They also have a good parking space.

You do not want to go to this place. Trust me on that.The reviews here are perfectly accurate.1) No washroom.2) Very cramped seating arrangements. It accomodates a maximum of 16 people at any given point of time.3) Not even properly air conditioned. The AC exists for show.4) Dim lighting - they might have been aiming for a classy ambience but all it achieved was a drug-den like appearances.5) location : super narrow alley road, that too on a steep incline.All these cons are perfectly excusable or even ignorable. What cannot be ignored is the behavior of the staff. They do not give a menu or even make eye contact with you. In fact they actively ignore you. I was surprised. Wasnt a restocafe supposed to provide good service? I sat there for 15 minutes. I gave it five more minutes and at the end of it walked away. This is definitely not a place you want to go to. Trust me. As for the food, other reviews have covered it perfectly. There are better eateries at Kottayam.

For the money we pay the quantity of food they are providing is not upto the amount and they take a lot of time after ordering...from my experience I dont think that an financially average person can afford this restaurant but the ambience of the restaurant is quite good

My friend and I went to third place And it was amazingThe ambience was too good, and I loved the food ..The staff were so friendly and sweet especially Ms Priya😁We tried grilled chicken sandwich, chocolate cake, yogurt and blueberry ice cream and cubano ice cream (not sure of the name).We also tried the Chocolate Moccacino with white chocolate and whipped creamLoved all of itWill come back again; definitely recommend!!

One of the few places in Kottayam where you can chill peacefully without much crowd.Never really had a great food experience from here except for their famous grilled chicken sandwich which is the only thing that I believe is worth trying.Not a big looter when it comes to expense but worth going if you want a peaceful spot to hang out and have some good conversations.!

The waffles we ordered were really tasty and the quantity of food was also sufficient. The only set back I found was the time taken to get our order.

Waited 45 minutes for an order. And after 45 minutes Got a chicken burger for the kids. Best part is after the kids nearly finished it the lady comes and says it was a beef burger and not a chicken. My kids who dont eat meat was upset. Then its another 10 minutes still waiting for our drinks. Good tasty food but lousy service.

This is just another small but splendid chill out location in Kottayam. Beautiful interior and is just amazing. Ive been here a couple of times. A little expensive for some maybe, but totally worth the cost. The gelatos are amazing. And not much of a food space.. But definitely a place to spend hours just talking and snacking. Not really crowded. Great ambience and hospitality is just great. Time spent is worth the money.

Poor smoothies, overpriced, and customer amenities.Ordered passion fruit and raspberry yogurt smoothie. These are plain with ice cream options of vanilla and overpriced in 200 rs ranges. The smoothies could be easily tried out in home kitchen.So maybe the charge is for ambience. U can get muted tv set, no wifi facility and dark corner s to look at. Wifi access is not provided to customers per the employees.The place could have gelato options being good but definitely not for smoothies or shake options.

Amazing Foodinitially launched as a Gelateria, and that too a the first one in Kerala, 3rd place has evolved from being just a desert/cake place to proper full fledged cafe. While visiting the other other day, I happened to order a Messy Burger with fires Its a very well made burger with the sauces that tastes out of this world. Not just the burger, the other items such as REEB, Pizza omelette are too good. Worth a visit. a variety of waffles are also on offer.

Im not sure if this is a regular occurrence, but almost half the menu wasnt available because of items being out of stock or things not working. The food quality is above average overall, the fries and chocolate cake were really good. Ambience is good.
