A very small railway station just where the suburbs and outskirts of Hyderabad end. Mostly DMUs and Passenger trains plying between Kacheguda and Kurnool have a stop here. The infrastructure bis basic and as such there isnt much need to upgrade it drastically given the moderate traffic and footfall that it handles.

Noo proper facilities being a village which has a great name and fame dont hv a good rly station and that too hv only one track officers must take an action as Kottur is an semi-urban ...I zst say one thing reestablish rly station,create bus stand...and for youth wish place a cinema halll...plz..plz...
