Shashimi is fresh and nice, butterfish is best, eel is good too, rice could have more vinegar, soy sauce fails. expensive but worth it at kk level

Environment was comfortable, with SOP for COVID-19 pandemic is followed, temperature sensor and My Sejahtera to check in at the entrance, toilet was clean. RM9 Inari just for 2 pieces, but the taste was quite nice. RM24 of Tempura was good, but the Tentsuyu was abit too dilute. The lambchop dinner set of RM36 was up to standard. The food price belongs to higher end.

The floor under the table was dirty. Like kind of dirt or something. But no one cares about it even the waiter saw it. Food is below expectation, great look but ordinary taste.

The flavour changed when compared to the last branch at kk city. Price increased but taste worsen. Soft shell crab totally not recommend. Not price worthy. Not recommend anymore! Sad. Lose another one of the authentic japanese restaurant in KK.

Authentic Japanese food to enjoy here. This is the 2nd branch newly open in this location. The first one is in Jalan Haji Pantai, beside HSBC bank in town. 4 person we costs us rm 222 and i think it is still acceptable for the price and we ordered a lot. Japanese decorative in the restaurant but it is still have the rope smell linger in the shop. I hope they can use charcoal to get rid of the smell. The food very delicious and will come back again next time.

Fresh ingredients makes perfect sashimi. Though its on the more expensive side the food quality is worth the price.

Its always full when we go there.. normally during the weekends.. so u may make a reservation before going. The food is nice but slightly expensive. The miso soup was a bit too salty the last time we visited. Overall we are quite happy with the food standard and services provided.

Went there for lunch.. their lunch set meal is tasty and worth the money.. cleanliness is good.. comfortable interior design.. ample parking available.. the only downside is limited toilet available.. sometimes need to queue..

Just had lunch there. We tried out their lunch set and ala carte dishes. Verdict : Lunch deals are good. Generally the portions are very decent. Onsen egg was delish! The Salmon Sashimi cuts are excellent! The Chicken Katsu was alright. Wish they had given a proper Katsu sauce with it. The disappointing dishes was first the soup provided, honestly you should always give Miso soup with the sets. The free soup was tasteless and bland. The Chawan Mushi was in the biggest glass Ive ever seen in my life for a Chawan Mushi. Which would have been great if it was tasty. However it was anything but. Lastly, there was soo much radish given with a number of the dishes. Although thats rather a preference rather than a disappointment.Overall, its not too bad.

It would be not fair to give 1 star. 2 star because some of the food taste good. HOWEVER, the food preparation took times. We waited 1 hour just to get our food. Very slow...Hope the management do something about the food serving..

Fancy for some overpriced but not up to par Japanese food? This is the place. Had Tepanyaki, over cooked burned salmon, meat was tasteless, portion extremely small. Sushi overpriced as well. Dont think will come back again.

The Salmon salt grill is not very good as they overcooked it. Lamb set also not that good, felt more of a western dish than japanese cuisine. Half boiled egg taste fantastic. Chicken katsu also good. Soup saltiness just right. Dessert this time is apricot pudding, a bit lacking. Overall is a good experience. Still prefer nishiki and wogamama and the one in plaza 333 more

The food was good, service was reasonable. Service crew should say excuse me before putting the food on our table and also dont forget to mention the food names. I dined in a few days ago, my experience was the service crew just put the food on our table and left, didnt even say excuse me or mention the food name, though its a food that we all can recognise.

Craving for Japanese Food they got those lunch and dinner set which very worth it with the price. If not order sides to share portion is fair and last but not least fresh. Do try their avocado juice is nice on spot 4 out of 5 times. 👍 but depends on season tho.

A Taste of Japanese which will satisfy most of the japanese food lover in sabah..Initially, i was muc hesistant to go in as not much people inside dining on the hours that i visited..Because of the good rating that friends in google gave to the restaurant make me make a brave step to go in..Upon entering, i was greet by a wondrous and friendly local Sabahan waitress..The customer services are really good.. Order my foods of dinner options combination of 3 meats ( prawn, beef, sashimi)..The price is reasonable to the price ratio..the waiting time just in time ( a bit late lah compare to other japan restaurant)..The food is served with a good cullinaries and cozy environement..only the songs played is a bit spoiled ( playing korean songs in japanese restaurant)..Now is for the food part, the delicious cooked beef with the big onion and some japanese special soy sauce make it so delicous together with the grilled prawn..a perfect blend after all..the shasimi with the mustard sauce really sting my tongue with good freshness of the Sea as i bite upon the soft and tender flesh of the fish...really gave me a very satisfying dinner yet so meaningful for me...very happy to have dine in here..Part A - Environment , staff support and Menu =2part B - Overall about food- smell, taste & Flavour, authenticiy, blending material used, extra ingredients, uniqueness of the foods ( +1/-1) = 4part C - Taste to price ratio- expectation after eating = 2total score = 8/10..
