Hanuman Jayanti is a Hindu festival. It is celebrated on the full moon of Chaitra month. Hanumanji is believed to have been born on this day. After Krishna incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Ravana got divine power. Due to which Ravana sought a boon from Shiva for his salvation and told him some way to provide salvation. Then Shiva created Leela to provide salvation at the hands of Rama. According to Shivajis Leela he took birth as Hanuman so that Ravana could get salvation.
