Amazing place to cross over to otherside.

It is an isolated place. Not advisable to travel with family after sunset. But the landscapes are beautiful.

Awesome place. When ever I go there, it brings back memories of my childhood. There was a bridge here, built twice but it fell. There were terrible accidents here. Kindly dont go alone here. 👍🏻

Do not bring young kids

Theres a river crossing here, you can cross the river on a small ferry, if youre on bike you can reach anegundi from here and then you can go to the opposite side of the thungabadra. The charge for ferrying bikes is 50inr per bike. It took only about 2 mins to cross the river. Also the views from here are good.

To reach this from hospet bus stand, as far as i know there are two routes:1) Less frequency. Bus starting: 8 am from hospet bus stand to talwargatta, it takes 30 - 40 mins. for 1.5 to 2 hrs you can get this.2) Get down at kamalapur for this you will get many busses and take auto to talwargatta. kamalpur to talwargatta is 5 kms.Addn. Info : The famous Stone chariot is near by in this route. From this talwargatta u will get electric vehicles to reach stone chariot of Hampi

By the river side you can take a boat to the other side of the river. Funny and useful experience if you are visiting the temples...

Hampi is the biggest open air museum of the world, a must see for nature & Heritage lovers.

Super placeTalwar Gatta- connecting Hampi and Anegundi.One has to go by traditional boats(recently these boats has been changed by modern boats. We can go to the other side of the river with our bikes, the charges are normal. One of our local guide has put a collapsed bridge photo, this bridge was 75% finished, then the bridge collapsed it self, no human loss was there. The area around Talwar gatta has a very long history (from Ramayana to Vijayanagar Empire.)@KRISHNA KRISHNA

Talwal gatta is an gate which was used to cross the river in vijayanagar dynasty. After so many decades it was collapsed due to attacks by the enemy kings so it was destroyed and the way from. Anegundi to vittal temple was closed. Now it is possible to reconstruct it. The concerned departments should think to construct this build to help and protect the historical monuments and ruins. And more helpful to the tourists

To go to Navabrindavanam from Hospet, Take a bus from Hospet to Kamalapur. From Kamalapur take auto (Rs.80) to Talwargatta. At Talwargatta cross Tungabhadra by boat. Walk 2 KMS to reach Anaegundi. Go to Raghavendra Mutt. Get your darshan tickets. From Anaegundi take a boat to reach Navabrindavanam.
