Food styling is an art form, a science, a love for food, and a complete understanding of the limitations of food, and the amazing thing is I can do.And trust me, food stylists are complete magicians as they can take a god-awful dish to make it look extremely appetizing.Heres presenting a small effort of food styling which I had attempted sometime back. when me and my buddies visited coorg.Pasta, the most comforting carbs with limitless varieties, is a staple food around the world without any doubt. This place has been crafted in such a way with relaxing ambiance where one can spend his/her entire day eating french fries with pizza.@Namling cafe, outside Golden temple, also known as the namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe, Karnataka.Food-4βοΈ/5Ambience-4βοΈ/5Self Serviceβ€οΈ
Its a good cafe I like it
Beautiful, calm (and unexpected) cafe in the middle of a monastery. Their pizza is really good, but a little too cheesy, and their lemon-ginger-honey tea - more of a herbal brew, really - is the best Ive ever had. The only thing is that service is incredibly slow, but the place is so charming to sit at that you dont mind too much.
The place has amazing food. If you visit monastery do eat in the cafe. Everything here taste amazing From beverages to snacks to pastas and pizzas.
A must visit for the below reasons- Neat and clean place- To the point menu- Banana cakeAll other items are cooked well and are tasty like Pizza and Pasta
A good cafe but the service is bit slow. Enjoyed the meals and humble staff.
Too good to be true! We had Pizza, Peri Peri fries and drinks. Too good food and ambience! Must visit!
Good ambiance and good spot. Lots of interesting books to read while enjoying your tea/juice/anything.
Good coffee..ginger honey lemon tea is popular here and a must try
We visited Namling Cafe in Khushalnagar last weekend. We ordered for French fries, Burgers, Banana Lassi and Cold Coffees. The ambiance and seating area cozy and comfortable. Although we had to wait for a little longer for our food to be served, it was worth the wait. The food tasted amazing!! The Burger bread was soft and tasted delicious. We were amazed with the portion of French fries that were served. It was fresh and Crispy, in contrast to what is served at our so called PVRs and Inox s in Bangalore at exorbitantly high costs. The monks who served the food very extremely polite and we are asked to pay only after the food was served. This place is a must visit according to me as it is worth the money and time.
The food is okayish in taste. If you are Gujju and have spicy taste buds, be sure you will not like this places food. We just had nachos and banana cake pastry and it tasted okayish. Also its bit pricey for the things it has to offer. You may prefer Italian food.
Located in a very peaceful and beautiful environment, this cafe is one of the best in the area and even the city. The staff here are just as calm, peaceful and friendly as you would expect them to be around a Buddhist monastery. The service is also very smooth, fast and good. The ambience is brilliant for hanging out with friends or family. But the main thing that should attract people - the food. Now I didnt have any food per se, but I can certainly vouch for its quality because of the drinks we got. I ordered a Blueberry shake, though it was called something slightly fancier, and I was blown away by the taste because it tasted so amazing. Same was the case with my friends, who had ordered other things to drink and loved whatever they ordered too.In conclusion, if youre in Madikeri, or just anywhere in Coorg, you must visit the place for a quick bite.
Food served was delicious especially. Value for money.
Must go place nice .. food
Amazing food preparations, amazing tastes , good quality. Great experience overall, dont miss !
It was very nice
Good ambience. Pretty wide variety of menu. Run by the inmates of the monastery. Menu mostly consists of Western food. They keep you waiting for a quite lot of time. The taste of food and beverages is okay. We ordered 1. bruschetta - which was average in taste but the quantity was well enough for one to fulfill hunger, 2. pasta - was very bland, taste was average and quantity was sufficient enough for one, 3. frappe and cold coffee 4. Tibetian chai - which is a milk tea with butter and salt, not recommended. Of these I suggest you to go for frappe than cold coffee, of course both were good but frappe was much better. The glass was very big. Price is comparatively lesser to other such shops elsewhere. Clean and tidy. Than tourists this place is buzzed by the inmates of the monastery. There are books too which you can read while waiting for your order to be served. And remember!! its a cash only place, no cards or digital wallets accepted in any shops across the settlement, and there are no ATMs in whole of the locality.
The food is fine...Calm and classy ambience
