Divine Temple located at the Northern Banks of Cauvery River.Temple History: In ancient days this was a Vinayagar Temple. Once a merchant with loads of goods carried with him idol of Poorna Pushkala along with Dharma Sastha. When he reached Koothur Village, it was heavily raining. So he decided to stay in this Vinayagar Temple for the night. He kept the idols and slept. Dharma Sastha asked place for stay to Vinayagar, as it is raining and night time. So Vinayagar came out and gave space for Sastha and his two wives. Next day morning the merchant is surprised to see this and he was not able to lift the idol from there. The divine voice of Sastha told him that he will be staying here and blessing his devotees. It is also known as Thambiku idam kodutha Thumbikaiyan. This temple is Kuladheivam for Thousands of people.
