WORST biryani you can think of in Hyderabad. Plain riced with boiled chunks of nonveg which claimed to be a special mutton biriyani ... is a disaster. I wonder how this has come from THE famous Shah Ghouse ... is this a mistake of some drunken waiter who is packing biryani... ??? Otherwise what could be a reason for packing a plain rice in the name of biryani !!?

Five stars for the absolute tasty Hyderabad dhum biriyani. The moment you enter the kitchen premises you can feel the aroma of the spices. I tasted in all other branches of shah Ghouse even the one near shah ali banda road, but this one is the best. We had other items too. The bawarchi ( cook ) seems to have jaadu ( magic ) in his hands.

Not the best experience for me dining here. They have a limited seating capacity max. I guess nearly 20 or 25 max only. Better to go with the takeaway. You can visit nearby Gachibowli Shah Ghouse for a better experience.

First and foremost the takeaway, section its not well lit, the place feels clumsy, but most of the people dont care about that because its takeaway anyways. Coming to the family section or the dining section, it literally feels like a rented place where the sitting area is divided from the kitchen with literally a wall, the place looks dim and not well lit at all, plus the waiters are slow, they try to clean it, but it doesnt look organised at all. Now about the food, I had the opportunity to eat some of the dishes, which tasted average, well I expected more because of the brand name. Portion sizes are satisfactory according to the price. So, if you want to eat to your fill at a not so expensive place around kothaguda, this might be the place for you.

A good hotel.. Hotel hospitality is not fair... The quality of serving is not as expected As in othersbranches of shah gouse restaurant.The chicken 🐓 biryani (oil) and pieces in biryani not cooked well.. 🙃🙃😝

Biryani was good but the Malai chiken were not good, the pieces were huge, impossible to chew and eat, not as tender as it should be, so scope there to improve.The service team were polite and nice.Ambience was average.

No doubt that Shah ghouse is well known for its Biryani. And they serve the better yummilicious Biryani. Thanks for it.Now comes the worst part if you are planning to visit here for grabbing a bite with your loved once never do that rather than that go ahead with takeaway or prefer other branches. The servers( waiters) here are arrogant and they dont have minimum common sense of responding to the customer that rude attitude of taking order ( haa bolo kya hona and all) well they will serve things which they would like to else they will straight forward deny you, if u ask it for second time they might argue or threaten you to go get it yourself.This was my personal experience ( not all servers are the same way but few of them are worst than anything specially the fat guy named ( shami) I guess.A suggestion to the branch owner please look into this as its spoiling reputation of your branch, we love the food you serve so we value that these group of illetrate humorous waiters are bringing your name down.

I have tried 2 things here and this what I felt.Shawarma- Taste wise, it great. It’s well cooked, has the right balance of chicken, cream and spice.- The second time I ordered, it was very cold and that made it less tasty.Biryani- We ordered both chicken and mutton biryani as I had heard a lot about it but the quantity of meat was not proportionate to the rice.- It appeared as though we had paid for rice instead.

I ordered mutton rogan josh over swiggy from this outlet. It was so pathetic!Dont know why now a days all the restaurants in hyd just serve the food like put all the ingredients in pan and heat it for a while and serve it like all masala mixed with oil and water with boiled ir tandoor meat pleases in it.Thats not how the indian curries are cooked! You need to cook the greavy for hours with meat and bones in it. This adds flavor to the greavy, and then only its a delicious curry.I am now loosing hope on ordering food online. God please help us. WFH is already is a burden, please do not take away options for quality cooked food 🙏

Chicken mandi tasted good nd price 400 online order but quantity full enough for two foodies nd 3 light eaters , mayonnaise will not be served in shah ghouse ,but tomato 🍅 chutney nd chicken broth are provided with mandi rice .mandi will be delivered in shah ghouse box

Our office ordered veg Biryani and paneer butter masala yesterday ( 23 August 21). The taste was yummy. It was also light on the belly. No bloating.This was the first time I had from Shah Ghouse and very happy with the experience.

Mutton Biryani was delicious.Would never prefer dining there. The person at the billing counter was super rude and his behaviour is quite intimidating making people feel very comfortable. Quite unprofessional Prefer online delivery.

The food was average. Seating was unkempt and poor hygiene. Due to popularity and high volume visitors, parking was non existent and was asked to park on the road that was not right. The cost was okay and value for money was poor. I wouldnt fully discount the fact that there are good dishes to try. However, the food I was served was not good quality for sure!

Food is good but service is bad. They demand tips and wants customers to buy what the service person wants to sell.

Parking space available. Two kinds of servings available one with bill other is without bill. You can have it ground floor without ac and no gst, accepts hard cash only. 1st floor ac, cards accepts,family. It names for biryani smooth and delicious. But waiting time little bit more. Right from starters sharwama cool drinks juices available. Dry fruit juice is excellent.

The cost to value ratio has gone down. Considering how expensive things have gotten compared to similiar improvement in quality

If you dont care for ambience and love good non vegetarian food, a good place to pick up biryani at a go. You may need to wait if you wish to order some speciality dishes.

Food is very tasty. But the service is too slow, bad experience always. It takes minimum of 15 minutes to serve one people. And the quantity also very less when compared to same range of restaurants. Just go and have yummy biryani when you are free.

Shah Ghouse used to be my favourite biryani spot in good old pre pandemic days… but it was disheartening to see the quality has gone down so drastically… Ended up having not fully cooked rice in Chicken biryani..one of the best things about Shah Ghouse biryani used to be the quality of rice they use.. but seems like they have compromised on that too…Forget about dining there, even at take away counter you will see absolutely no covid appropriate behaviour. No staff including the billing counter, delivery counter wears a damn mask…!It’s just for the love for Shah Ghouse biryani I am giving 2 stars…

This place is haven for Chicken & Mutton biryani that too DUM BIRYANI. Its so good that not a single grain of rice will be wasted. Masala will be right to the required and chicken properly cooked.

Yesterday night I took away, a veg and chicken biryani at night 11.00 pm and it was so spicy that we couldnt finish half the portion. You guys need to look into it.. this being 2nd time.

Taste wise its very good but for dine in its one of the worst options. Very poor maintenance, no handwash liquid the handwash, poor cleanliness, smelly environment and very poor service.I took my office colleagues here and was really disappointed and was embarrassed.Such a big brand and having 0 maintainance and shabby smelly dine in wasnt expected at all.

One of the worse restaurants i visited ever, if youre north indian they didnt cooperate with you, we three visited today paid 650 rs and eaten mutton biryani but taste was pathetic and even the service was really embarrassing, owner is also very rude..just a suggestion for north people dont visit there .

Didnt dine there but did a quick pickup:First the pros:1. Taste of food is awesome. If you like tandoor items, be sure to try out tandoori chicken. Its simply awesome. Price is also great.2. The quantity they provide esp for biryani is good for 2 person (the regular one).3. Do not have to wait for long to pickup an order. Average wait time is 10 mins which is way better than some of the other resturants that I have visited.Now for the cons:1. Had ordered for chicken and mutton biryani. Came home and discovered they had given both mutton.2. They dont have a good parking place, esp if someone plans to come by car.

I have ordered Fish Biryani and Loose prawns here. Fish biryani is sufficient for 2 and the price was 270/-. The biryani is great with good amount of boneless fish pieces and with aroma ghee. But the loose prawns were not as expected. They were coated with lot of flour and taste also avarage. Sometimes you feel like eating only flour. Ill give only 1stat for Loose Prawns.And now the worst part comes after finishing your food. The server demands you the tip to give. And you should give something to him, else he wont allow you to go. This is so irritating. Even if you give something to his for tip, still he will ask you for more. Not really a good culture to treating your customers like this.Here after Ill never visit Shah Ghouse. If I really need something, Ill came for a take away or Ill get from Zomato or swiggy.

Pakka Hyderabadi tasty kind of food served. Will definitely visit more often. Would suggest to have mutton biryani if you dont eat mutton here, then go for chicken. Dont bother to order starters because biryani itself would fill you up.

Biryani in here is Tasty and hygiene, but server and waiters dont respond to you once they served the food to you. And they comes at the last to collect their tip! Untill that time they didnt respond to anyone!
