My mother recently had a surgery here. The post operative ICU nurse (a nurse with north Indian accent) was very rude and did not attend to her and verbally abused her. The patient next bed to her was vomiting and the nurse was not willing to clean it up and she slept with a vomit on her dress and face, the nurses in the morning shift were compassionate towards the patients, they were nursing students. iI would recommend Shankers Hospital.

Gynaecology department is excellent.As a patient i felt very comfortable with Doctors,so i felt sharing my experience.3 months before my father was an inpatient under urologist.I was so impressed by the hospitality and prompt service of entire team with consideration. Since i trust Goodwill of Upasana Hospital and its Doctors,Few weeks back my visit to Kerala from Bangalore for a surgery related to Gynaec issue,I suggested Upasana Gynaecology team.Now i am perfectly alright and back to my hometown.

Money oriented hospital. My father was admitted in cardiology during October-2017.Without even finding root cause Dr Binu was again and again giving heavy dosages.After two three days kidney became weak.He and his team were not even bothered to check patients previous medical history.Then I forcefully asked for discharge and shifted to Trivandrum.I was surprised to see 4 star rating even after many people cursing this money motivated institution.

The below positive commenters are either employees or paid ones. Before reading their comments check for their integrity. The no.1 looter in Kollam owned by a ***tard in Kollam. Very bad service but very high fees. All good doctors left after bought by that Robber in Suits. Avoid this robber. There are many good ones around. Check for them.

My wife experienced a Very poor care after gynaecological surgery at post operative ICU. Staff nurse on duty used harsh words when she screamed due to severe pain.

Very very bad experience,poor treatment,Nurses have no idea about what they do,So kindly dont go there for treatment.First time i experienced,in a private hospital we want to give bribe for good treatment in Ortho section and the truth is all had know the thing even management also.i requested immediate discharge and escaped.

Worst hospital for ortho. Doctor George wants bribe. He wont ask. But if we dont give bribe hell screw us up. I was taken here when my arm was broken. He plastered it in some way and my bones twisted and joined. My arms had to be operated later in SP Forte, TVM.Stay away from ortho. Hes a douche bag!

Upasana is one of leading hospital in kollam. Unfortunately some doctors without devotion towards profession has creep ed in to it and Hro Ravi pillai could not do anything against them. Today i visited Dr Nesmal Musaliyar for my sons ( 3.5 yrs old) vaccination . All vaccinations (Except Last one) are done @ same hospital by Dr Vargheese Koshi. Dr VK is very busy person hence we took token of Dr Nesmal as he is free without much patients. We waited an hr and called up to doctors room . on inspection he found that we are following an old schedule and the vaccination during 1 yr is not yet taken ( kid is 3.5 yr old now). We got surprised and enquired the possibility and chances of repeating the vaccination and its impact of kid. We felt skeptical. Unfortunately the doctor went angry and declared if you don’t want to take vaccination don’t take. He was not ready to clear our doubts of overdosing . We sensed the professional jelousy of Dr Nesmal Musaliyar towards Dr vargheese koshy. Finaly I agrred with doctor as there was not option for us. Dr Nesmal not even looked to our eyes. Any way Dr nesmal is not a person with open heart and positive attitude towards patients. on the contrary Dr Vargheese Koshy is a Doctor who spreads positive energy .
