I dont understand, why to visit apple store, I should make an appointment? This is not because of covid measures, because in front of store cafe, where people sitting without social distancing etc. But for apple store you should stay in the line and waiting for appointment

I was having issues with the butterfly keyboard of my Mac. The keyboard is well known to have been quite poorly designed. I normally have a warranty with Digitec but they wanted to make me pay 600chf to have it repaired. Thanks to the apple keyboard replacement program, this store took it in and I got it repaired it for free all under less than a week. Very nice. The team that works there is also great.

Apple does not know how to change a screen on its MacBooks. I left a mac book pro more than a week a go for repair. It was supposed to be ready yesterday. I did not receive any news, tried to call them but was left with a phone ringing for more than 10minutes. I decided to go to the shop. After waiting 10minutes, I was told that my MacBook was not ready yet. I asked them to cancel the reparation, but was told (again after 10 minutes) that my MacBook was actually being repaired, so I just needed to was for half a day, the time to run the diagnostics (really, half a day for some diagnostics?). When I mentioned the fact that nobody answered the phone, I was told that I called too early (it was 9:30am...). Such a poor customer service...

I wanted to buy a Mac Pro with all the upgrades and they didnt have it in stock, I asked them to pay for it and send it to my house, it wasnt possible. I arrived home to buy it online and they wouldnt let me use a foreign card on the web.

Ultimately slow service. They dont respect the timing of appointments.

Poor communication and poor service: My large iMac was in a service there, and I wanted to trade-in it. They told me I can do it while it was in a service or come after and decide. But when I came, they discovered that they can’t take it tor tradein and that I must pick it up, and then send again by post. They must told me before as it is heavy!

I have used apple assistance in many other countries and the service in the apple store in Geneva its just ridiculous. They will leave you more than 20 mins waiting for them to pick up the phone. There are some instances that people can not ask for online help!!!!!!

That is not the Apple experience at all. The staff are all smiling and helpful when you come to make a purchase but their attitude changes when you come to solve a problem. Personnel in genius bar are not familiar with their own products. Don’t expect them to try to help, my feeling is they are trying to get rid of you. This experience makes me wonder if i want to stay an Apple customer.

Apple is always quite high standard. But here there is always so many people inside ! And the staff manages to keep you waiting for the smallest amount of time. I was amazed. Smiling, good advising people are not always easy to find nowadays !

On our second to last day in Switzerland, we stopped by the store to buy 4 items. It took the person serving me close to one hour to sort out the payment and Tax Free form. When we returned to the hotel at night, we found out that we were given an empty box for one of the items. I called the next morning and received the worst attitude possible. Firstly, they said it wasnt any employees fault; I acknowledged so but added that it was still negligence. They insisted it wasnt!I asked for a refund but they demanded that I physically come to the store which would have cost me a lot of time as it would have added 40 km to my trip to the airport. I argued that for such a h-tech company, they have all the tools needed to refund my money. Still, they refused to honor my request!I asked for someone to meet me at the airport with the missing item (it would have been a local train ride for the staff from Geneva) but the store refused. I asked to speak to the manager but he refused to take my call!Refusal seems to be the stores default value.My advice: Don’t bother humiliating yourself at this store. Save your dignity and shop elsewhere!

Apple reps. are not very helpful when it comes to bring in a device for troubleshooting and prefer to refer to the telephone support. Store design though looks nice.

Its an Apple store. It has very sleek interior design.Personel is friendly, they answer all your questions without rushing.If its crowded however you may have to wait 10-20+ minutes for an employee to help you. Especially if you want to buy stuff.

Your typical Apple store. Way too many people. Genius bar (which spoke English) could not solve my problem and referred us to call support in Great Britain. When we wanted to buy something it was easy to find a sales person (who spoke English).

Tried to get an iPhone 8 not even a year old repaired; the screen unbroken stopped working. But the whole phone was working Repair was costly. Ended up getting a nice new android at the store nearby. Apple service has downgraded at least in Geneva.

Worst Apple store EVER.I made an appointment at the Genius Bar, arrived a few minutes early and had to wait for over 30 minutes to get service.The technician was nice enough but unprofessional. Did not resolve any of my issues. My Apple Watch has to be sent to a laboratory- 2 weeks for repair.For my iPad he said I need to reset it myself. I did so per his instructions but the issue is not resolved so now I need to return again.I also wanted to purchase a laptop and received service from an Asian salesman- I don’t know his name, he was so rude, impatient and unhelpful. He kept rolling his eyes when I asked questions and had terrible English.I will never buy here again.

As all the Apple in the world, the place is always crowded. The team is fancy and try to support us all the time, despite the larger amount of clients in the store.If do you need some technical support, you should ask for an appointment at the iCloud website.

Busy at lunchtime but the salesperson was very helpful and responsive. I would do some research before you visit as the crowds could be a little off-putting. Overall a positive experience.

I went here to replace my MacBook Air battery, which was only able to work with the charger plugged in. As I was leaving my appointment, I turned around to clearly view the Apple associate handling my laptop for servicing next to the plugged in charger. Upon my return to pick up my repaired computer, I was told they did not have my charger as they never keep accessories. How is a customer supposed to know that??? They made me pay for a new charger. It is the responsibility of the Apple associate to hand me back my charger before completing my transaction. I am very disappointed, especially since I was told on the phone before coming that they will find a solution for me without me having to pay. Otherwise, it would have been a positive experience.

Very bad organization of the employees. Switched between three of them. Managers are not here to help, the employee needed a code and no manager was on the floor, how this can be even possible. Half of the genius don’t know how to solve problems, and sellers are 20yo now.. how ridiculous, always talking to each other and not doing their job.

I would have liked to replace my iPhone battery since there is a program for 29CHF until the end of this year. Except it is absolutely impossible to make an appointment. All slots are full for the next seven days. If sales are going well and you have too many clients then its time to expand or open new stores.

Had an iPhone issue and made an appointment at the store. Julianna came over to help, she was so friendly and introduced herself and continued to help us until the issue was resolved. She also helped with another query. The most helpful person I have had at an Apple Store.

Too many people and not so good services.I went to the fast line since I exactly new what I wanted to buy, the agent was serving several people at the same time, not really listening to the client, and finally spend more time waiting to get the correct order rather being smooth and efficient. Would not recommande apple store for buying apple products.

We had a bit of a wait but then the service was great. The tech helped us select our computer and make all the right choices based on our needs. We ended up ordering the ordi from home but felt well served and ready to do so after our conversation with the Apple Store staff.

No service. Even if they are free and you came without taking an appointment it is required. Absolutely Geneva style, to create problem where there is not. I go to apple shops in Dubai, Moscow, Bangkok, Miami, but not in Geneva. Here they dont know what is it to provide the service.

Bought a macbook pro 3 months ago, based on the recommendation I got from one of the sales person.2 week ago, the computer did not turn on at all, so took it to the Apple Genius Bar service. Yesterday I got my “new” computer repaired, without any data left on it. And the only comment I get is: “we are sorry”, but nothing to compensate for my time or data lost.

Always crowded, difficult to understand where to pay, whom to ask, etc.It looks nice from the outside, same inside, but it is simply too crowded to enjoy the experience of the Apple stores. Therefore, make sure you come out of busy hours (have to discover when this is ;) )

I went to this apple store to fix my MacBook 2017 display. They done the job in 1,5 days without properly checking if it was correctly working or not. They delivered back my laptop with 2 different issue ... I need to go back again.Please review Apples standards from bottom to the top

Very unfortunate experience. I am sometimes met with very nice and competent staff who genuinely try to help. Unfortunately the majority I am met with callous, patronizing and inconsiderate scum (including at least one supervisor or manager) who make you genuinely feel like you waste their time. Have been refused a factory recall on an Apple recognized defect because of « liquid damage ». (Warning: Dust and tobacco stains are considered liquid damage) Buyer beware, « liquid damage » is well known as Apple´s get out of any situation excuse to refuse servicing or repairing devices.

Having learnt from my mistakes in the past (not making an appointment), I made an appointment well in advance. I arrived a few minutes early and was told to go for a walk until my turn came. I went for a walk in the shop, for which I was scolded. Its too busy right now, dont go over there... (where the accessories were displayed). Nevertheless I stayed as I didnt want to miss my slot. My turn came and I was instructed to wait - standing as there were no available seats - over by the wall at the end of the shop. Some 20 minutes later I was finally called. Once with the Genius, assistance was reasonable and I was out on the street just an hour (!) after Id entered (straight swap of an iPhone with a broken screen).Visiting this Store is not really a pleasure. Its loud, busy and the staff can be a little offhand. I regret, given the price of Apple products (of which I have several), that customers are not treated with more consideration!

Their call center doesn’t offer english language explanations. In today’s world, i believe that it is nonsense to insist on using only local languages.

Gets very full at weekends but staff is always friendly here. Had my Macbook repaired and it was ready earlier than they said. Karim is one of the very helpful guys there. Good for a quick buy, I found that Apple in Switzerland is slightly cheaper than in Germany or France.

Very pleasant to go to the Apple store. You are treated very nice and fast. Resolved the battery replacement in 2 hours.

I went in the morning, they did half the work, asked me to come in the afternoon. In the afternoon, the could not fix the problem and I now have to go again another day. Not well organized!

The only Apple store in Geneva. They are helpful and cooperative.

This apple store is completely packed with people, always. You cannot even breathe. The staff is so busy they are less attentionate. In summer they have not enough AC and with the translucent roof it gets very hot inside.

I am extremely unhappy about todays fiasco concerning a repair to my iPhone. I was told that the repair would be free (twice) and when I came to pick up the phone they wanted to charge me 168 francs. The reason was that the phone screen had already been changed once elsewhere. Never did anyone ask about this in the morning. They just said that it would be totally free. I asked to speak to the store manager who was extremely unhelpful. The employee was very disagreeable as well. I will be complaining to the head office in Switzerland as well as in Ireland.

My 12 year old son forgot his bag containing glasses and a sweater in the shop yesterday. I called the shop this morning and was told I needed to come to the shop to know if they had found it... Had the battery of a 4-yr-old MacBook Air changed for Fr. 129. Fixing an appointment with the Genius Bar was easy, and the machine was rapidly repaired. Very good customer service.

The staff in the genius bar was just rude, disrespctful in us and our time. After 15 min or more of waiting after making an apoimnet someone very nice came go help us. This is not the way the you should treat a costumer.

I got the display of my Mac Pro replaced here. I went in for my appointment on a Friday evening and by Monday my laptop was ready! I very happy with the service: the staff was professional and efficient in handling my case + they spoke English.

Its quite a big Apple Store with the staff ready to help you as soon as you enter it.Its easy to miss because there is a very small Apple logo on the outside. Watch out in case you miss it.

Apple stores everywhere are big! Because of the very high ceilings this store looks big but its tiny compared to other Apple stores. Very unorganised in regards to where you have to go and waitings times to be served are huge. If you complain they tell you to make an appointment but even then you feel like cattle in a holding pen - some staff are too stressed & dismissive talking to you and their colleagues at the same (attention span of goldfish), answering their colleagues questions (who interrupt rudely) whilst you tap your foot and roll your eyes in disbelief! With the volume of customers in this store some serious reorganisation is needed if this place is to work better. Just because of this I went across the street to Swisscom to buy 3 new iphones. (I guess as long as your buying Apple they dont care where you buy them).

I’ve been here about 8 times. Only once has someone approached me first and every other time I am forced to try and get their attention. When they are not serving customers, seems like they just socialise and they don’t stop chatting even when people are waiting for assistance.But when you finally get someone, service is ok. They get the job done when you need their services but just don’t expect a smile or any human emotion from the staff.
