I had visited Dfort Ayurveda for lower back ache, I was consulted by Dr Nirmithy, she had advised me to undergo treatment.. This was my first experience in classical Ayurveda treatment s, it simply was magical and the result I acquired is still persistent .. I would take this opportunity to thankDr Nirmithy, she is so caring and friendly,also the treatment staff and all others were making sure my stay was comfortable and peaceful. All front office staff, housekeeping and service are just awesome

I am writing this review while relaxing myself in my room here. One of the memorable stays in my life. It was bit difficult to find this place as Google map directed us to the back side of the hotel. The location is near the beach. The road to hotel is via a coastal road with locals. It is the only way to this place which makes us doubtful about the stay. But as soon as you enter the premises you are wondered by the hospitality and the way in which the premises are maintained with bamboo. They have a branch named All seasons Hotel on the banks of Ashtamudi lake. I have stayed there too. Its their good will which makes me stay in this group of hotels everytime I visit Kollam. The suite room is spacious and has a mini bar attached. The hotel food served in room is also nice and tasty. Highly recommended for families.

Best place to enjoy with friends and family ..

As of 18.08.10 its a new facility, so everything is neat and the location is very close to the light house. Breakfast is decent if you could get the property within2500/- per night.The swimming pool is a good highlight. We spend almost one hour. The deepest portion is 6 feet starting from 4 feet.Battura was and very curry was really good. Coffee was the best we had in recent times. Chicken sausage was disappointing. Noolappam could be a little softer.The f&b manager took good care of us.Rooms were spacious, and the ac will be perfect for summer times. Toilet could have been a little more spacious.The complimentary head massage was good for me and the for my wife i think it was less than 5 min.Overall we had a great one night stay.

Since our original review of our New Years stay at the hotel somehow disappeared, here it is again:The New Years party was boring. The food was exceptionally bad; the biryani was served rotten. The New Years party was a scam. Avoid the party at all cost. As it was new years eve, the room service was not so good.The rooms were really comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was OK. The pool wasnt very attractive (not clean) and was lacking towels. When we asked for the head massage that was included with the stay, the staff let us understand that they didnt have time for us.In general, the hotel was ok but the staff was rude and misleading.

Good quiet and relaxing

Hotel all seasons D fort Ayurvedic resort is located in Thangassery, the coastal belt of Kollam. Its a well maintained property hardly one year old. The check in was smooth and they welcome with a refreshing drink. Rooms especially suite rooms and so spacious well maintained with a living room, a bedroom and two bathrooms. Rooms are well air-conditioned and one of the bathroom is provided with a bath tub. Bed is  nice and sleep quality was awesome. Swimming pool is also good with a added advantage of indoor arrangements, can be used even on rainy season. This resort is basically an Ayurvedic facility, a complimentary head massage is attached with the room. Other ayurvedic treatments are done there.Restaurant attached to this facility is having good ambience and the breakfast and dinner provided in the modified american plan is so good. But be careful while you order sea food dishes here. The fish was stale and old and tuna was served instead of kingfish. Other than that food was so nice.Staff all are very nice and they are always ready to help you. Altogether its a good option to stay in Kollam.good hotel, nice rooms, nice restaurant, friendly staff.

One of the enjoyable and memorable stays in life. I am writing this while comforting myself in the bed inside my room. I have stayed in Hotel all seasons in Mathilil, Kollam which is also a branch of this hotel. This is my second stay in this group of hotels. You have a complimentary head massage available here in the hotel. I am staying in suite room which is spacious and well maintained. A mini bar is available within the room. The room service and food from restaurant is awesome. Quality food with reasonable rates. overall the stay is nice. though you cant get a view of sea from here the premises are well kept and worth watching. recommended for families

Really wonderful experience during the Stay in Dfort which is located near the tallest Light House of the Indian Coast. The Main attraction of the Resort is a calm environment and Well behaved staffs. The Service provide was very Fastly and Friendly. The Room was Neatly maintained and Amenities provided are really Good.The Swimming pool was also well maintained. Overall i will strongly suggest this Resort for Families.

Refrigerator got leaky and flooded the room no one came to clean on New years Eve. Food was not upto the mark for a 4 star hotel, only limited reheated food was available.

Great place to hang out..a super hotel and ayurveda resort with quiet and peaceful ambience in the middle of the kollam city without any of the city rush and noise affecting its calm atmosphere...staff is very friendly and food is good too. Easy access to all types of public transport also has ambient car parking space.

I have to change the rating from my initial review as tried their restaurant through Uber Eats had Pothichoru (Traditional Kerala meals in banana leaves), it was excellENT and delicious. My mother who is a very fussy from a taste perspective and very old school have given her approval. So Kudos to the All Seasons D Fort restaurant team. Keep it up.

Excellent place. I had a nice stay with family. I stayed in the Suite. Extremely clean and good quality interiors. Food is also good. Staffs were very helpful and nice experience.Overall, a nice place in kollam. Only suggestion is to put a more soft and slanded sofa set in the living room of suite room.

Quite a contemporary resort. The pool is pretty neat, however its not heated. Less of a concern if you are not with toddlers.The 2 main attractions are the light house which has an entrance fee which is well worth it as it is very well maintained. There there is a sea breaker running 2.5 kms into the sea (good for morning walks).The check in staff even though friendly and well mannered are not as competent as they should be. Our checkin took close to 45 mins as they kept searching for rooms available to checkin.The restaurant itself was quite neat. The breakfast included, was of low quality with various items not being replinished. The waiting staff were not very competent with one guy taking an order for a masala omelette only to be told by his boss that the breakfast was a set menu with no made to order food.The Ayurvedic massage was quite good with the practitioner being of good quality.All in all the property is quite well located and has been very well looked after. But the staff could improve heaps.

Pros:The ambience of the hotel and area is really good. Its by Thangassery beach which also poses a famous lighthouse. The beach is walking distance and its kind of not far away from the city. The rooms are spacious.Cons:Breakfast menu is limited, very less options with average taste. Both my breakfast i survived on only omelette and bread. The chai was average. Staff doesnt understand English. The milk powder in our room was expired and I drank my coffee with that without thinking until i didnt feel so well .Special mention: the front desk manager owing to this problem of milk powder, didnt charge us extra for early check in, which the hotel was planning to.

Huugggeee Rooms. Spick and span. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and food served is good too. Ample parking space and a serene surrounding. Beach at walkable distance. Have spa and swimming pool too. I would say value for money.

Newly opened resort in kollam thangassery. Near to the famous thangassery fort and thangassery arch. Modern amneties with amble space to accommodate large groups for parties and get together. Rooms are spacoius with modern toilets and bathrooms. Good parking space available and parking facilities for handicapped people. Restaurant is good with minimum variety of dishes. Staffs are friendly. Gym and yoga classes are available for club members. An indoor badminton court is also open to club members. A pool is also available and swimming classes are paid. As per the hotel management swimming classes are taken by expert divers. Very close thangassery light house , its an ideal vacation spot for families.

New Year party, boring bad exceptionally bad food. The biryani was served rotten. As it was new years eve the room service was not so good. The corridors smelt like piss may be because of some party done kids had the night before. The New Years party was a definite scam. Avoid it at that time of the year, avoid the party at all cost. Breakfast in the morning was OK.

I booked a room for my parents for stay where check-in was at 5 am and checkout at 5 pm the same day. I knew that this was not a standard check-in check-out time as per the hotel policy. I called the hotel and confirmed the same and they were okay. Later they called my dad to inform that they can arrange a single bed room only due to an already occupied room slots. I called them and requested for double room Caz my parents would be travelling the whole night and reaching the hotel at morning 5am and they would need the most is rest and good sleep. The hotel team acknowledged then, while when my parents came to check-in, they were given same single room. Even there were no courtesy to provide an extra bed in the room. I would say one of the most worst customer service ever. if they cant respect elder people and what they need, where do they fit in this world of hospitality. The next thing was a taxi booking. I called them and they confirmed Volkswagen Vento Sedan for a full day booking at rate of 18/km. The most pathetic thing they could arrange was a Tata Indigo and the taxi driver was expecting the same km rate plus extra driver charge of Rs 300. If a hotel could not really arrange a well comfortable taxi as per agreed conversation, I dont think so they deserve to be a fit in this hospitality industry.Pathetic customer service and no respect for patrons.

A wonderful resort in the banks of Kollam beach which is near to the Light House. This is an ayurvedic resort which houses ayurveda doctors who is doing all sorts of ayurvedic treatment. They do have places for the treatment like massages.This resort do have single rooms, Suite rooms, also service apartments which has 3 bedrooms which is quipped with a kitchen, balcony and dining hall.They do provide complentary breakfast with some packages. Even though the buffet menu is limited, the food is good and tasty. The restaurant is neat and good. The rooms are large enough and very neatly maintained.They also have facilities like indoor badminton courts, swimming pool, bicycle ride etc.Nice place for a stay near the beach.

Today (05.08.20) am staying here. Very Bad Experience. They have offered a decent price, but it given as they doing a great a charity to me.Very conjugated Room (They calling its Deluxe Room). And Bathroom is again too narrow and not so well maintained.Because of Covid threat, thought of stay in a better hote like this (only in images)Now l I feel like, I may get Covid from here..Mosquitoes attacks extra as well... Happy Night

Good quiet location. Enough parking space. Good architecture. Spacious room nicely furnished. You can see the light house from the terrace of the building, but sea view is now obstructed by tree lines. Can see some back waters. Staff members are ok. There is scope for improvement in their professionalism. Nice stay altogether.

Hotel was quite clean. Check in staff was courteous.Room service: Asked for 3 sandwiches in the evening. After 20 minutes received a call stating that they could serve only 2 sandwiches as they ran out of bread! He also said that since he billed for 3 sandwiches he will send me some french fries that I had not ordered!I had booked for 3 PAX and asked for an extra bed in my room. I called housekeeping at 8 pm to get the bed. After 45 minutes since no bed had come I called them again and was told that they had run out of extra beds. I asked them to get me at least a good mattress if a bed was not available. The boy came with a foam sheet that was just about an inch thick.I sent him away and asked him to get me a real mattress. Finally, after following up umpteen number of times, they managed to get me a mattress by 10.45 pm.

The hotel is really beautiful and clean ,but the room provided to us 4 were not.1.we had booked a 2 bhk apartment room which said it could occupy 4 people .On reaching the place and seeing the room it was realised that it was only 3 peoples room ,which was really annoying because one of them had to sleep on mattress even after playing the full amount for room,we had to literally call up for sleeping material because nothing extra was provided properly .2.the rooms given to us had no mirrors.3.On requesting them for room exchange for other day ,the reception guy first promised to give it another day due to non availability on first day and then next day i had to literally remind them thrice to get the answer that there is no room from their side.4.flusher of one of the apartment room was not working5.Food is really good here.6.Also the ayurveda consultation is good.

Really one of the best hotel in Kollam. Great amenities . Very supportive staff. We had a great time with our family members to celebrate my sons first birthday. The pool is really awesome. Food and restaurant is superb. Will definitely visit again.

We booked ourselves a place in the hotel for 2 nights, while on our transit from Alleppey to Trivandrum.Hotel is in a brilliant location, just 300mtrs from Kollam Lighthouse. Google location is absolutely correct and leads you through the right route. Hotel has ample parking space in case youre coming via taxi/self-drive car. At the entrance we were greeted with watermelon juice, nice respite in hot weather. We came during onam time, so the entire hotel was being decorated festivities. Entrance itself had massive rangoli. Although there was a minor hiccup during check-in, Mr Shiju - from hotel guest relationships desk chipped in and resolved it immediately. Since we were traveling with a 2 yr old he gave that little extra attention just to make sure things are in right place. Special mention to him for giving a hotel round, guidance for local sightseeing, booking onwards cab to Trivandrum (at competitive rates although being a festival time).We had booked ourselves on half board, which was totally a worthwhile decision. Hotel offers a nice spread for the dinner from salad to dessert, menu of which can be customized as per your requirements. Mr Midhun and his manager Mr Prasanth from F&B made sure service is up and running with a broad smile. Being there in Kollam on Onam time, it helped us partake Sadhya (traditional Kairali food) during lunch hours - a first one for my wife. It was beautifully prepared and extremely well served. Totally made our day. As token of goodwill, Prasanth also offered us a small portion of payasam for our room to try as we were full by the last course of the lunch. Very genuine thought, as it was one of the best we ever had. Yes, Sadhya is very very filling. Special note here on F&B teams perseverance, Midhun from F&B was there till late night serving guests (our family had late dinner) and could see him greeting everyone again during breakfast. There were about 3 families with babies or toddlers and as always they tend to be a bit finicky about food stuff. Midhun ensured all the custom requirements are met appropriately.Just a pointer about the breakfast that the spread could be enlarged. It was predominantly South Indian cuisine with no sweet dish. Basic breakfast additions like baked beans, boiled veggies, Croissants, noodles may help in catering a larger customer base.Hotel is primarily titled Ayurvedic resort and accordingly has multiple treatments for various needs. It also has a elaborate pharmacy where one can buy Ayurvedic medicines/oils/herbs at reasonable price. We didnt use the treatment/massage, so no comments there.Rooms are quite big, larger than usual hotels. Being a new property has every thing spic and span. Although rooms face sea side, but due to thick foliage on campus, view from the room is essentially the trees around.Hotel has an indoor badminton court - rarity these days in resorts. Hotel also offers a covered swimming pool, ensuring you can swim during rains too. Although the pool was occupied, we didnt use it as there were mosquitoes on the pathway leading to pool. Maybe reasons were incessant rains. However, some fumigation can definitely help that area. Hotel Rooftop has a nice deck which gives brilliant sunset views.All in all its a good value-for-money, premium property in a good location with hard-working staff.

I faced the following issues at the hotel which I have conveyed to the customer care person in MMT.I faced a lot of problems at the hotel. The issues are listed below-1. The room was so odd shaped and beams crossing through the middle of the room. The architecture is so faulty. This is something that cant be changed. We tried to change rooms, but all were booked.2. The lock on the door didnt work. The repair guy came and kept beating the lock with a chisel and hammer for half an hour to fix it. So it took us so much time of waiting to settle down into our room.3. The air conditioning in our bedroom was too slow to cool the room.4. Blackouts- power kept going off and on. We tried to watch a movie, but when we were 5 mins into the story, the power goes off. This happened a dozen times in the first 2 hours of our stay. It happened a few times in the evening too.5. The TV takes a few minutes to start up. So every time the power went out and came back, we had to wait for 5 mins to watch the TV again.6. Since my wife n I couldnt watch a movie properly, we went upstairs to play badminton. The hall had AC ducting. I asked the management to switch it on. I waited for half an hour and then got the reply that they switch it on only for functions.7. All the badminton rackets were either fully or partially broken. The birdies were tattered. So we couldnt play properly at all.8. We asked for cycling, but the cycles were taken out by someone. I asked today morning and they said it is still under maintenance. So the cycles need maintenance for more than 24hrs?9. I went to the Pool and saw nobody there. I phoned the reception and asked for a towel. Then I waiting for 15 mins for someone to bring me a towel.10. The pool had an 8ft deep end and there is no expert to monitor the pool area. This is utter negligence on the side of the management.11. The pool wasnt clean either. It had leaves, dust, dirt,etc, all floating on the surface.There is a general lack of monitoring and improvement at the hotel. Initially, when I entered the hotel, there was nobody at the gates or doors to help us with the bags. These are common courtesies at hotels which I have experience at. Most of my problems werent resolved even after complaining. I made a complaint to MMT, but they wouldt reimburse my money because I already checked out. I hope you see the errors in your operation and do a better management at your hotel.

I have stayed in the hotel for three days.The hotel is well located, near tourist attractions like fort and light house, the hotel offers good neat and clean rooms with great staff (very cordial and motivated).The hotel is 400 m from the senic 3.1 km long. The scenic breakwater is ideal for refreshing morning walks/ jog/ run.The quality of food prepared (fish curries) is great and the fishes are purchased from the closely located fish market and are only fresh catches of the day.The hotel offers a complementary head massage, the oils used were good and the experience was good.The hotel has a staff of ayurvedic doctors special mention (Dr Chitra) who has a four generation ayurvedic medicine tradition in her family and is a qualified doctor.My knee problem has been hard to diagnose even for many well known hospitals (orthopedicians) on the first few meetings, so I offered (that I had and could get it) my recently conducted MRI to the doctor, but she very kindly started the diagnostic steps and within 10 minutes Viola she could tell the exact problem.Additionally she also recommended oils for bandaging and tying for oil absorption and kasayams for consumption.The medical cost in toto was lesser than 800/-(Oil cost - 650 lot of oil!)The swimming pool is clean and well maintained.The gym needs some work in terms of arrangement.The hotel also has an indoor synthetic badminton court.This hotel is recommended for all travellers and especially people having any orthopaedic problem. (My personal experience is limited to this).

The property is great as the location. But the staff there is unprofessional and services are bad considering the price we pay. The breakfast is costly considering what they serve and worst part is they want you to pay immediately as we are running away instead of adding it on your bill. My key didnt worked most of the times and no one cared. It took me 1 hr to get my bill for checkout even after repetitively reminding them to prepare my final bill. The hilarious part is they charged me for 1 hour cycling RS 100 are you serious after paying more than 20K for my stay. Bunch of jokers I would say. Kitchen gets closed at 9.30 PM that too didnt went well with me. You need to ask for toletries instead they replace it everyday. I would say service is unprofessional and I am not recommending it to anyone based on price we pay for our stay here.

Awesome Stay, food should be improved, service of the restaurant should be improved. While ibwas taking dinner there were 4 persons standing to serve the restaurant but i have to serve myself even to pore the water nobody came forward. This is very annoying when you are paying and you are saying that you are 4 * then not expectable.2ndly i was told the guy on reception to send towels to the swimming pool but nobody brought my whole family came wet to the room, Please take it as a postive thing, Listen and speak to the guest and try to serve them better, then only you will get more costumers.

Best resort for enjoying vacation with ur family a completly different vibe

Rare and sudden short power outages occur. Swimming pool is not amazing for the price. Nonetheless, decent customer service and food (pricey). Huge rooms makes you feel like a king. Nice views nearby. Good spot to consider if youre going for the Thangassery Beach.

The rrom were comfy and super spacious. I have stayed here twice now and cleanliness of the rooms is much appreciated. I may probably stay here more if I get a chance. Swimming pool was also clean and spacious. I would recommend this to anyone.

A very good resort in tangy, well maintained property. rooms are very spacious, food options are limited, but taste good for what the chef prepares. they will arrange rides If you need at the reception.

The rooms are cosy, bathroom is really very nice, room service is good, staff is courteous, the only problem i faced was I ordered veg briyani in room from the in house restaurant, and got 2 pcs of non veg in it, in room 117 one could hear continues beep sound of discharged invertor wch is kept outside the window of room, we got shifted to room 234 which had no fan but a bigger ac which was pretty okay. View from the front rooms is sea facing.

You dont expect to see a resort of this ambience in Tangasseri. Nicely done property with Ayurvedic treatment to boot. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious and clean. A few drawbacks - very limited breakfast options, and sometimes the mill powder they give you in the room can be expired. Very Cooperative when I brought this to their notice - gave me early check in at 6 am with no extra cost.

Excellent stay.... credit goes to the hotel management and especially for Mr.sijo the duty manager... complimentary head massage also they had provided as it is an aruyvedic resort too...

Good property, especially to stay with family with a pool and view of light house. Cycling available for Ra. 50/hour. Near by kollam beach. Break fast is average.

Fantastic hotel.....with a view towards The Light House and The Thangasseri Fort...... The staffs are courteous and well groomed. This is a goood place to spend some quality time .

Nice stay experienced, but rate was little high. Any way we are enjoyed.

The hotel is clean, room are big, but very dark, and no view. Outside, in the street everything is very dirty, smelling very very Bad, and nothing to do. Beach is dirty, and no way for walking and find peace. No nature at all.
