Authentic ayurveda hospital.This ayurveda hospital is run by a family of doctors. There is one doctor always present 24hrs. senior Dr sreedevi mother of Dr suresh and Dr Bala 3rd generation doctors and their wifes Dr dipti and Dr. Dharshini who are also ayurvedic doctors. They are very dedicated and one doctor is always present during the treatments. Their personal attention was very impressive. I came to know from my husband that Dr suresh or Dr.Bala always started the therapy. Even for me the Dr who was present always showed the incense stick and prayed and touched our forehead and poured the first oil for the therapists to start. We had 2 therapies everyday.Bring your own towels. Have at least 2 towels. They use one towel to wipe off the oil from the body after massage before we take a bath. They wash and dry the towels for us. Take your own soap and shampoo. Else you can buy from their pharmacy. There are shops in town where you can buy towels if needed.They have 2 properties. We stayed in their old hospital which is in Mayyanad town. It is about 5 to 10 min walk from Mayyanad railway station. This property has 2 treatment rooms, a kitchen, pharmacy and has 4 to 5 rooms. All the rooms are well ventilated.They provide clean bedsheets and pillow.( I am finiky in this aspect. I carried bedsheets with me but there was no necessity use them) They made our bed and cleaned our room every morning. There is a TV and AC in the room. AC may be needed in summer when it is very hot. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place.All the staff are very considerate and make sure you have a good stay. The food is simple, vegetarian and adequate. My husband was a non vegetarian and they gave him a piece of freshwater fish with curry for lunch, as he was advised not to take sea fish during treatment. They make their own medicines and also use medicines from other manufacturers.We stayed only for a week. Looking forward to come here sometime for a longer stay. There are a few temples around this place. Everyday we went to the beach which is about 2km away to watch the sunset. If you are in search of an authentic ayurveda hospital then this is the place to be.

Was there for the Panchakarma 21 days. Great treatments, very good food, BEST doctors!!!

This Ayurvedic hospital is run by family of 5 doctors 2 of whome recieved gold medals for their medical studies. I am happy that I decided to have Ayurvedic treatment in this hospital. Its a high standart, new and very clean facility. I got very warm and personal care from everybody who works here - doctors, therapists and the serving crue. After staing here for 6 weeks I did not want to leave. I am thanking Doctor Suresh and his family for taking such a great care of me and planing to return as soon as possible.
