This hospital is mainly known as KURUPINTE ASHUPATRI. the doctors are experienced and handle their patient with atmost care.wherein patient leaves the hospital with satisfaction.Dr.Sreekumari who was in charge throughout my pregnancy. Hereafter I will suggest everyone to consult here for pregnancy. but only one thing which bugs me a lot is pharmacy centre , we have to wait for long time. Try to appoint 2 or 3 for accepting the cash.make it easy.

My Wife delivered our first baby in this hospital, Hospital Name is known more as Dr. Kurups Hospital after the Chief Doctor Dr. R Narayana Kurup. The hospital is known for adopting a practise of encouraging natural / normal births as opposed to C-sections, Thus preserving the Mother-Child bonding. They do go for c-sections but only in case if a normal delivery is not possible. This is an admirable fact as most other hospitals in Kerala have adopted the practise of C- Surgeries, which is quick for the hospital and ofcourse they can also charge patients at a higher rate.The rates of rooms are very nominal, but do not expect A/c and super deluxe rooms. These are more for the people who cannot afford the 5* hospitals and want a normal delivery for half the cost of other hospitals.I would absolutely recommend this hospital.
