An oldest bakery in Kollam. Situated in the corner of Kadappakkada junction. May not have an ambience of a new generation shop but they make delicious items with a reasonable rate. Bun, bread and sweet puffs are my favourites. Parking may be problem, since there is no space nearby.

In the 90s this bakery got the best meat cutlet in whole kollam.I had never eaten a delicious cutlet much better than this until now.I asked the owner personally about the cook who made that cutlet he said he left .Now a days the quality of items is so poor and always remain small in size. I think the cup cake (small) still remains the same taste and size.

This bakery has been existing for atleast 25 yrs now. There are some delicacies that have stood the test of times. The humble sweet puffs and egg puffs are two of them. The sweet puffs is very unique and just melts in your mouth. But ensure that you go before 6 PM else you will not get them. They are ready by 3PM. The bakery as such does not have much ambience and may bring about a doubt in you, but be assured that the taste will make up for this. The fruit cake is another that has not changed in 25 yrs. There may be the more famous Supreme bakers that has spread its wings throughout Kollam, but The INdian Bakery at the kadappakada Junction will always remain my favourite in Kollam. Long live...
