Room was okay not that big. good ambiance but less lighting. staff are good. main issue is the food menu. no indian food so, if there are not so young people in our group you may face difficulties in finding the right food as they have a cafe below. They dont allow much to sit comfortably in the cafe with breakfast or tea. they serve to room but as we book rooms for the ambiance so we should be invited to enjoy the food in the cafe.

The place is very beautifully decorated. They serve the best truffle cake on earth. Its a must have there. I had a very good time there.

Great place to hangout with friends and family. However, the staff did not allow us yo click pictures and said that an additional charge will be applicable for the same which seem to be way greater and highly unreasonable. They had a lot of items from the menu unavailable maybe due to the pandemic situation. Their Cheese fondue tasted great.

A nice historical house near Hazra Road Lansdowne crossing having a cafe in ground floor and rooms above. Though the place has been renovated recently, it still needs some maintenance. The staff are superb though and go out of the way to help. Good view from the roof top. Decor and ambience takes you to old times and the golden memories of the glorious past of Calcutta. Limited menu with reasonable price. Wide variety of hot and cold beverages like teas, coffee and mocktails including hard drinks. Soups, salads, pizza, pasta, fries, risotto and desserts with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Had a variable experience in terms of taste and quality. The cheese fondue is a must try. Pizzas are okayish. Nice place to spend some time with friends, kids and family reminiscing the past.

Food is good, ambiance is better. There is no such main course of sorts, as to me all were just starters and appetizers. Even their main course were the same. But I liked it. If you are a foodie and looking for good food and intending to fill up on your lunch or dinner, this might not be the best choice. For snacks and drinks and beverages, if good.

Its a nice, cozy place in southern Calcutta with both indoor and outdoor (rooftop) setting.The indoor setting has an artistic touch to the Ambience and makes for a calm setting. The rooftop, decorated with lights, has a similar quaint vibe.

Also they have rooms for the top floor.If you are travelling via metro then its lil bit far from metro station.Coming back to the food partI ordered✔Margarita pizza, that was a disappointment. In Corner Courtyard we had soup which was basically a very light broth, for people who love less spices and stuff.The cannelloni was not that good because the spinach and cheese in it were not nicely blended I guess, like the texture of the stuffing was not good. But the sauce was amazing. The pizza was one of the best I have ever had, very fresh and crisp and cheesy. The ambience was good.

This place is just so pretty. The interiors is so well done and cute. Very cozy place and the staff is pretty friendly. They have a roof top also.This is also a hotel and they have such cute rooms, every room is based on a different theme.The food was delicious. We ordered peri peri prawns, Rosti, chicken mee goreng and cheese cake.I’m giving it 4 stars coz the first time I went I had ordered chicken satte and Green Thai curry I was so disappointed coz both the dishes dint turn out well.But as I had heard a lot about this place wanted to give it another try, and this time i wasn’t disappointed. Certainly going there again.

The restaurant decor was vintage style..all the furnitures were old zamindar type..the food menu is limited and amount is less in respect to price..some r overpriced..we had cafe latte, chicken wings, broccoli almond soup,the Californian pizza, Jamaican jerk chicken, cheesecake and chocolate brownie and 3 mocktails..soup was good..so also thin crust pizza..but the chicken wings were small and quite less in amount..the rice with the pan seared chicken was very less...but the desserts were very good esp cheesecake..the mocktails smelt of over-the-counter rasna flavour and excessive sweet...hope they will upgrade the food quality in respect to price

First off, we were treated poorly. Honestly, we expected much more hospitality than what we received that evening. Secondly, the guys were unfriendly, unaccommodating, the food served was not upto our expectations, price not proportionate to quality or quantity. And really inconsiderate with some of their policies for eg. how they allow advance bookings even during holidays when most eateries dont, amongst others. Having said that, Im not dismising them solely based on my first and only experience but also not eagerly awaiting for any future visits.

It is a beautiful vintage property, reminds one of the houses in the old’en days. Moreover, the highlight definitely is the dining area adorned with the crafty chairs, chandeliers, ornamental walls and the decor was top notch. The room however I felt was a little small to suit my needs, nevertheless everything else was great. We had ordered dinner on a particular night and found it pretty decent.

Quite nice and peaceful eatery... bar service is a little odd though... its like an attic outlet. Cant imagine the summer heat and experience on the rooftop, they cant serve beverages downstairs due to license issues.

Great cosy comforting ambience. They have transformed an old colonel bungalow into this cafe. It has delicious pizza, esp the pesto pizza. The base is super thin crust with loaded toppings! Even the appetizers are scrumptious. You also get drinks (alcoholic) here. Perfect for a date night !

This place is a very cosy looking and beautiful place. Food menu is not very huge, but absolutely stunning with very different kind of food on it. We had Potato Gnocchi, Thai Spices Risotto Balls and Classic Caesar salad. All of them were good. Worth visiting again.

It is one of my favorite restaurants in South Kolkata. Their food and ambiance is superb. You can taste some amazing Italian dishes here also with some Asian dishes too. The staff are very helpful. We have been here several times and every time we enjoyed their food.

Doesnt serve alcohol in the ground floor seating area but only in the 3rd floor terrace area which is small and needs to be accessed only by stairs which can be a bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise a must visit place.

This is a great place. The food is spicy and tasty. Pizza here is amazingly tasty. The service is pretty good. The insides look like a house and it gives good vibes. It is little difficult to spot it from the main road since it (again) looks like a house from outside too. But one should try pizza here, at least once.

An old building was modified to a boutique hotel. The old decor is retained and is quite exciting at the first glance but the beauty as it is is skin deep. The bathroom sink is clogged, water leaking from the commode etc. doesnt make the experience any better. The door latch was broken and the rooms has started showing signs of decay. Excellent location, quite friendly staff makes up some of the shortcomings. Food options limited to Italian only, so if pastas and risotto arent your staff call zomato. A so so hotel in the heart of the city, overpriced for the amenities. Ok in emergency.

Was here 3 years ago and I have memories of a sweet comfy place. Now is rundown, staff is lazy, you have to wait 30 minutes for a coffee, food is non-descript and small portions. Really give it a miss

Terrible overpriced food. The “eggs divinity” was actually disgusting and I didn’t even want to finish the tiny portion for which they charged a ridiculous 290Rs for it was so bad! Pancakes were rubbish as well and even worse came with a hair on the plate!Service was ridiculously slow probably due to having only one waiter and had to wait 40 minutes for breakfast! Even then our food came at different times! Also there is a very limited menu for orders before 12 which I was only informed of when I tried to order.Really don’t understand how this place can get so many good reviews when my experience here was so bad, maybe they change the staff in the afternoon so it’s better in the evening for dinner? Still I would seriously avoid it at all costs before midday. Only good thing was the nice boutique furnishings inside but this far from makes up for the rest of it.

To be honest I really liked their deocre, it was amazing the color combination and the theme was very nice the staffs are very nice. I went at 11pm and ordered cheese garlic bread and they arranged it in sometime. Thank you very much

Though the menu is not so elaborate, but the food they serve taste good. I ordered a Pizza, which was very good and the crust was thin. It had quite a good amount of chicken sausages and pork ham on top of it along with mushrooms. I ordered the Ham as an add-on.Overall a good experience. As far as price is concerned, its not so expensive there. One pizza and a cold coffee cost us 793. Give them a visit and they wont disappoint you for sure☺️.

We came here because the hotel we actually booked was facing some problem and we couldnt stay there. And what shall we say - it was the best that could happen! Such a nicely restored old townhouse with fine cuisine and nice staff. The rooms are arranged so cute and welcoming. A recommendation for everyone visiting Kolkata.

The furniture used here are all from an old era, so its quite eye catching. The food is good and price is reasonable. It has a rooftop where they serve alcohol. Valet parking is also available

Really good food. Services are nice too. Accommodation wise is nicely presented with essential taste buds. 2 points I will mention on a little nagative side, 1st, Size of rooms are a little small in size and if you are booking for elderly persons, try to avoid 2 floor rooms with narrow staircase.

Lovely decor and excellent food. Service is good, although the waiter we had could improve his speaking skill. The only downside is the ambient music which does not match the retro Bengali or classic Calcutta decor. Of the dishes, the mussels and shrimp are highly recommended.

A hotel with just 7 rooms, is nice and d cosy in over 100 years old building. Well managed and with good food. Though food available is global and not Indian. Located in south Kolkata not very far from most tourist spots.

I had fond memories of The Corner Courtyard, and hence chose it to visit again after almost three years. To my utter surprise, the place not only looked rundown but also smelt badly. The AC duct had badly dampened and there were smudges all over. The air was stale and food took quite sometime to come. Tomato soup was too thick, ketchupy and very sweet as if one had put lot of sauce and tomato puree in it. I had expected fresh tomato soup. Brocolli Almond soup, Thai green curry and Green pesto pizza were excellent, but mushroom risotto and spinach cannelloni were a big let down. Lemon souffle was too sweet and to our utter surprise contained lots of condensed milk which made it bad, but cheese cake was par excellence. Fresh orange juice was ordinary. Overall experience was disheartening. My old memories of the place is fully shattered, and I shudder to think of all the recommendations that i had been making to friends for this place over the years. Least these people should do is to close down the place for renovations do that sweet memories do not turn sour!!!

The ambience was good but the serving of food was too late. Waited for atleast 1hour to get the food. The taste is OK but not awesome. The serving delay and the waiters interaction must be taken care of.
