Professors go out of their way to explain the subjects as well as offer proper career advice. They show how humble one can be in spite of being so highly learned. That was definitely an eye opener for me.Classes were held regularly and despite the pandemic, the study material offered was comprehensive and more than compensated the losses. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me. I made many friends here, who helped me selflessly. That was really great, you know.The only sad part was that I enjoyed the university environment for only a quarter of my 2 years of study.

This is one of the great University of mine. I studied B.Com(H) under this university at 3 years... Again I also studied M.Com(Accounting & Finance) at 2 years in this University & I am completed M.Com in the current year. I enjoyed in this university during the education time & I learnt various types of knowledge during the 5 years... I love this University very much❤❤❤❤ There is a good environment in the CU but unfortunately I was unable to enjoyed last 1.5 years due to covid 19 pandemic situation. The renovated and improved campus looks amazing. The new archway gate really gives definition. Being an alumnus, the reconstructed and redecorated campus is a breath of fresh air.

Nothing can ever substitute this nostalgia. The more older the more merrier. This is what I feel about it. But the drawback lies in its backdated system of administration. It is the only thing that bothers me otherwise this is one of the greatest place for education.

My university, though I studied on the Rajabajar campus , still its the central CU campus. Main campus as we say. Its connected with Every 6 other campuses of CU. Some specific departments are here. For which irrespective of our department we have to visit here. The campus is big and old in College street.

In changing times, Calcutta University is one such who has failed to adapt modernity, & be efficient at the same time. I was here for a simple migration, and that too has become a lengthy process now. The new process is to pay through SBI collect, which is fine, but one has to fetch the print out of the said copy from a designated shop, at the Mouchak Sweets by standing in long queues. The whole concept of online payment was to make the process simple, but here its not like that.

The worst University of West Bengal cum India. The services are very bad. The security guard are more powerful than the Vice Chancellor. People are harassed by the security guards and the clerks(group D). Students are always fighting with them to get his/her rights. For example you all can check the status of this University on 16th July. Male Police and security guards have given the hands on the female students intentionally. Search and check on facebook.

Im a student of here since 2016, now Im studying Master degree(2019) course from here.. this is a No 1 University in my opinion at West Bengal. And the place of this university was huge... And specially the top view of the university was amezing.. The white color of all the buildings looks great for the mind. And Still a lot of pressure to study here... But faculty members, office staff , proffers they are all very good There will be no inconvenience. Here is the arrangement of Mick in each class room.. And Every class room is clean and well maintained... A few days ago, all the bathrooms at Ashutosh Bulding were renovated and they were decorated in Western style. It looks very nice to see and use.. There are great opportunities for students to use the universitys library...There is a lot of change now . Went to have a migration stamped. No one had any idea when the Registrar would show up. Had to wait for 3 days. Also Im an outstation student.

It was my dream university. But I suffer a lot for every year even after completing my course . I did not recommend anyone to come for this university . Pathetic experience , no correct way of result outing , no website updates for BBA , no good teacher for this professional course , no configuration of right college . Passing percentage is low, not helpful people and staff . I got my 1st year result after completing my second year exam. They promise 100% placement but did not keep there promise .

It is okay type university.Very strict in rules.previously there were two gate to university but now there is only one gate to it.Plus u have to give a line to get your work done.

I studied political science at this place, the syllabi of the university is still 20-30 years back. They need to learn from Presidency University beside it or JU! Most of the staff members are not helpful and if you go there applying for a duplicate marksheet or solving any other problem then be ready to be falling at your wits end to get your problem solved. They dont receive any phone calls and in front of me one of the staff told his colleague to receive the phone and tell the person on the other side that it was a wrong number.Now what kind of support do you expect from such a place.Most of the staff arrive late in the office and are ready to go home early and their behaviour is next to trash.I feel sorry to be a part of such a university.

The visit was memorable in a way. First they call me that my document is ready then when I came to collect they told me to wait.
