I have a very bad experience with this agency . I booked a tour package for Arunachal scheduled for 16th March 2020.I paid an advance of Rs 10k as asked by Mr Shyamal Deb in a bank account provided by him. The total package would cost 41k for two. He assured me that he would personally meet me to collect documents required for getting permit for Arunachal visit .He never turned up. Rather he asked for our photographs of Adhar cards to be sent by whatsapp. I was naive enough to comply that too. In the month of January, suddenly a family emergency cropped up, and I decided to call the tour off. I informed the aforesaid Mr Deb and requested him for refund of my money in the bank account provided by me. He agreed to refund 5k. I did not even ask him by what astrological calculations I have to incur such a heavy penalty. Any way, in spite of repeated reminder I did not get any refund. I am preparing for taking some legal steps. However, I thought it is my social duty to keep people informed about such nonstandard agencies, so that they can be wiser than me.
