We rented 11 rooms in this guest house for my marriage purpose...Here is my experience1. Owner Mr. Rajib Mukherjee is real gentleman... start to end my family is completely impressed for his behaviour2. All staffs (including manager, helper, cook) are equally good. And all are having smiling face 24x7.3. I got all facilities whatever promised. Even got something more which I did not expect.4. During Covid situation everything got completed successfully only because of Chaya Neer Guest House...

I had been to Kolkata on a personal visit & stayed here. The location of the guest house is in South Kolkata which is one of the best & most conveniently located. I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown by Mr. Rajiv Mukherjee. Staying at Chaya Neer was like staying at home & it was just the perfect place to rejuvenate after a tiring journey. A few points I would like to highlight here is that Mr. Rajiv Mukherjee treated us like we were his relatives right from the time we knocked on there. The whole house was kept sparklingly clean, the rooms were well maintained & everything was made available when we arrived. And a special thanks to the support staff, always smiling & eager to help. An absolutely delightful stay & he being a perfectionist has left no scope to suggest any further improvements. To summarize I would definitely recommend this place to everybody who wish to to visit Kolkata.

I want to stay here, and also deal with the manager previous day,but at the end they refused...Hopelessly I was at the time with my bag and baggage

Worst Guest House. Cramped up room, equally bad washroom. For watching the TV you need a binocular.....such a small screen. AC remote does not work. In short.....worst experience.

This is one of the best guest house with all the proper facilities, absolutely clean and healthy environment and they also sanitize the place thoroughly everyday because of the oandemic. Overall stay in this guest house was more than good.

Location is nice and convenient, but thats where the positives ended for me. Extremely rooms and unprofessional staff. They will mention mineral water only to later state that they were talking about aquaguard water! You request for tea in the early morning, only to be told that you wont get tea before 8am, which incidentally is also the check out time! Next day they literally promise that they will provide tea around 7am, but again no response. Finally even while checking out I had to wait in front of the front door of the office and ring the bell 10-15 times, before someone showed up to take the key.

Just opposite to the Guest House there is a small market where one can find all sorts of vegetables at reasonable prices. Theres also a dairy milk booth. The market is easily accessible from both ends of Garia Patuli Connector.

Its a quite a nice and clean Guest House.I have been to the 3 rooms on ground floor.Each of these rooms is having wall mounted TV with a small fridge in the room having attached bath fitted with gyger.The room is having double bed cot and one 2seater sofa set.There are few more rooms on top floors which I have not seen myself.Wi-Fi are fitted to these rooms.The rooms on ground floor is of medium size and its quite OK for two persons.Few eating places are available in this area along with decent AC Restaurants.Cctv cameras fitted at critical places to ensure better safety of occupants.Wifi connection is available in rooms.
