Probably the best place to get that Pujor Shopping vibe...... this market is as nostalgic as kolkata can get. Old but beautiful streets, with shops on every corner. You can get items for as low as 5/- rs and also as high as 10,000/- rs. If you have good bargaining skills then u can easily get some good deals.

Its one of the iconic market in Kolkata.But most of the footpath has been occupied by the hawkers.So pedestrians have to use road instead of sidewalk. Its a very congested place.

Rajendra Fish market in Hatibagan. There are different varieties of fishes available. We had bought Ilish fish last Sunday. The taste was really awesome. Recommend everyone to purchase fish from this shop. The seller is very humble and polite and will provide best quality of fishes.

The market is live and awake for pujas. The pandemic might have been hard on the collections a bit but its back on its feet again.

Reasonably priced products. Products are excellent. But be careful while you purchase as the shops have not only encroached the footpath but also encroached one side of the main road. So, people while walking past the road have to walk on the road rather than the footpath. Buses and trams also pass through the same road on which pedestrians are walking. If you are not careful while buying from the stalls that are on the road facing the road, you may get hit by a bus or a tram. The trams pass with greater speed through this part of the road.

Best place for North Kolkata for shopping. In this market also available every peoples needs. One can find for his or her all kind of choices, in reasonable price range and also having many shopping malls, like Bazar Kolkata, M bazar, prime fashion, City Mart, and for shoes Ajanta, Khadims, Bata. Also having many places for complete lunch dinner tiffin. Many good restaurants are available here and the food quality is also good.

Its a fabulous place for marketing in north kolkata, very near to shyambazar 5 point crossing, shyambazar metro station and sovabazar. It is on the bidhan sarani. It is famous for retail marketing on footpath or pavement and window shopping. Various household items, clothes, cosmestics, restaurants, golgappa (or fuchka in bengali), fried items of veg and non veg etc are available here. Price is more reasonable in comparison to dharmotala, new market or gariahat market. You will get a north kolkata flavour here which you cannot get at dharmotala, new market or gariahat market. Behaviour of retailler is good in respect of other places mentioned above. It is a must-visit for everyone.

The place has some iconic spots like theatre and chop shops and the tramline adds to the beauty! There are many fries and tea stalls too.

Hatibagan market is one of the biggest and one of the most famous market in kolkata and Eastern India. There are varieties of stores and enourmous stocks. One have to bargain to make a deal.

My experience was great.Its a market where u can find all your goods like daily wear at the lowest price,and even vegetables.
